Hands down fantastic food. It's a very casual environment, wooden 4 chair tables throughout. Pretty close together, it's a very quaint, small location. You do order at the counter and they bring your food to the table. The pasta was a little overcooked but not too.much. if you like AL dente you should probably request that. My daughter was feeling Italian and found this spot through Yelp. First impressions- Very small, quaint restaurant. Not much happening with the decor. You order at the counter and they bring the food to you. Only saw 1 person at the counter and she was very friendly but I was a little thrown when the kids drink that comes with the meal is fountain drinks only but there's no option for juices. All were sodas and the Fanta orange was not mixed right and tasted sour so we were forced to use tea. Definitely would suggest being able to get a lemonade bottle in place of sodas for kids or bringing in a juice option. Loved the complimentary bread that dipped well with the sauce of my Sorrento dish but I would certainly suggest a dipping sauce to go with the bread but it was still a nice touch. Our adult entrees were plentiful and full of flavor. I loved the capers and mushroom mix in my Sorrento dish. Shrimp portions are skimpy but for the price can't complain. There was a lot of spaghetti noodles and 3 tiny meatballs that tasted like they had no seasoning, just cooked plain hamburger. Not even salt or pepper. And I ordered an extra meatball, should've saved the $3 extra I paid for that meat marble. There was maybe 1/3 - 1/2 cup of so-so sauce, not nearly enough for all the noodles and plain meatballs. The garlic bread had burnt edges and cold soft middles. Maybe their other dishes are more flavorful but I dont think I will return. read more

I read some great (and obviously over exaggerated) reviews so we headed out to Hailey's. No diet sodas were kind of the warning shot, in a way. No appetizers. More warning shots. No real choice of dressing for salad, only take out orders, staff playing cards ... all continued the now blaring warnings. The positives(ish): - the salad was crisp and fresh, and quite large for a side salad but the dressing was lumpy & sour - the chicken was cooked to perfection, well seasoned. In fact it was the best thing in the entire meal. However there was less than a third of a cup of chicken in each chicken Alfredo portion we ordered. - the pasta was dry, not fresh, but was well cooked The biggest negative was the Alfredo sauce it was thin and remarkably lacking in flavor. We were laughing by the end of dinner at the splash zone of sauce that was everywhere around us, no matter how hard we tried to avoid any mess. This is meal that was not worth the price, or the drive. The blaring Mexican music and the lack of any kind of creature comfort were the final nails in the coffin. I am leaving two stars one for the chicken and one simply because they sort of got some components nearly right. read more

I've visited this restaurant about 5-6 years ago and wrote a 3 star review that has disappeared. For some reason the oldest review here only goes back 3 years so I'm not sure if this business closed and then reopened? It's been here longer than that. The only reason I came back was due to the high reviews on Yelp currently showing 179 reviews with a 4.5 star average! I came for dinner a few nights ago and parked in front of Hailey's in the strip center parking lot. Inside it's a medium size one room restaurant with seats for about 30-35 people. Upon entering you are seated at a table by a waitress and presented a menu and then told to order at the counter when ready!? After looking at the menu and noticing many items from my previous visit by their name I chose the Pasta Nathan for $17 and added a side salad for another $5. They offer self serve fountain drinks along with a cooler of bottled soft drinks. I went to get my drink from the fountain and then grabbed some utensils and went back to my table., First to arrive was the salad and some complimentary bread. I must say the salad was very fresh with romaine lettuce, carrot strips, croutons and grated cheese with a vinaigrette dressing and it was very good (4). The entree followed in about 10 minutes and looked very attractive in its bowl. It had sautéed shrimp, mushrooms, diced tomatoes and spinach in a creamy lemon butter sauce over fettuccine. It also was very good taste wise and I appreciated the large shrimp. With the bread slices that creamy lemon butter sauce was delicious. This dish taste wise was a 4 too. To the negative: the dining room is uninspiring and it's counter service with a fountain drink dispenser that only serves soft drinks and pre made sweetened tea (yuk) and some bottle soft drinks available too. Also, I think the salad should be either less cost or complimentary with the entree. My dinner cost $26 and I felt it should have been less.? To the positive: the food was a 4. Even though I really liked the food I'm not in a rush to return. This restaurant needs to move to a more attractive location that gives it a better interior and consider becoming a table service establishment. Therefore I give a 3 score overall. read more

I went based on the reviews, yeah no, idk if they had better chef's or better fresh ingredients but this tasted like the stuff you get off the shelf from the grocery. Highly disappointed. I had to go into my pantry and put salt pepper among other spices just to make the 40$ I spent on the order eatable. Hailey's Italian consistently comes up as a top option in the Cypress area when scrolling through Yelp. My wife and I love Italian food, so after moving to the area we were excited to give it a try. Upon arrival, we were immediately struck by how small the dining room was. You order at the counter and there are a handful of tables to choose from. The general feeling within the restaurant is crammed and somewhat awkward. They only serve fountain drinks or water, no wine or beer which for an Italian restaurant is as near an unforgiveable sin as possible in my opinion. The food was just okay. It wasn't inedible by any means, but was definitely generic and the quality of the ingredients felt questionable at best. For pasta dishes approaching $20, I would certainly have expected more. All in all, my biggest complaint is that the representation online gives the appearance that this is a quaint little Italian restaurant serving authentic Italian food. I certainly did not find either of those things to be true. At best this is a lunch spot, over charging for mediocre Italian food with store bought ingredients. If it's "the best Italian in Cypress" as many reviews have claimed, it's says much more about the lack of quality options in Cypress than anything else. read more

Ordered from Door Dash. Food arrived piping hot! We ordered the Chicken Parm and Reyes Chipotle Pasta. The Chicken Parm was just okay. I think it would be better eaten at the restaurant when shelter in place is over. I find that is the case for anything fried and delivered. It just loses the crispness from the steam in the container. The real winner was the Reyes Chipotle pasta. It is very similar the one at Cheesecake Factory, but more flavorful. My husband said it is better than Cheesecake Factory and it is his favorite dish there. I can't wait to try other dishes when we are able to eat at restaurants again. The chicken was tasty and moist. The bread was warm and buttery. I was pleasantly surprised at how out-of-this-world delicious our meals were given that we took them to go. This place has been on my ' Cypress to go list' for a couple of years and haven't done it yet so here we are tonight. They have really good reviews and they're local so we're excited to be here. They do a decent door dash business and I kinda feel bad for eating in, but I am enjoying a night out with the boys, we 3 don't usually get this opportunity. Also, I am thoroughly enjoying the music. The food came out with soft fresh bread and garlic butter, the guys said it was good, but I was so into my chicken piccata that I didn't want to waste room on bread. The side of pasta was surprisingly great. Very good red sauce. But back to the piccata, cooked to perfection, just the perfect amount of capers and mushroomsvin a delicious buttery lemon sauce. When we come back, I will be hard pressed to order a different dish. The boys ordered their go to italian dishes, chicken parmesan. They too really liked it, and again the pasta they are completely. That's so not normal. Usually they'll eat the chicken parmesan and pick at the pasta side at other locations. I chose to eat all of my chicken piccata and a small amount of the pasta. I really suggest the piccata, and this little restaurant as a whole. No reason not to give it a full 5 star review. We'll be back. PS, we ordered some desserts to go, nutella cheesecake and traditional cheesecake. I'm pretty sure we got the chocolate mousse cake instead of the nutella, but after the first bite, it mattered not. Ever since our favorite casual Italian place closed, we've been searching for a great place for pizza and Italian fare. Hailey's is fair. Here's the breakdown. Please consider turning the AC down about 5°. Hubs tried to convince us to leave 30 seconds after we got there because it was so hot and uncomfortable. Order at the counter. One of my new pet peeves. If a restaurant has this format it screams casual fast food to me, like McDonald's, Popeyes and CFA. I will not give you an advance 20% tip when you aren't even coming to the table to take my order. I'm also not going to order dessert in advance, which means I'll probably skip it. Food is pricey for the small portions. I don't have a huge appetite, and I could eat an entire pizza myself. Chicken parm was my choice this time and was decent. Pasta sauce was like ragú or other jar sauce; nothing special. We ordered garlic bread bc we were hungry, but it didn't even come until after we got our food. My girl had the kids pasta Alfredo--her entire meal was about a half cup of pasta. They hand you menus, and ask you to pick your seats, then come up to the counter to order and pay. For as few people were in the restaurant (only one other table), ordering at the counter shouldn't be a thing. You also get your own silverware, drinks, Parmesan cheese. The food was definitely good! I had the chicken Marsala, husband had the Reyes chipotle pasta, and the little one had a kids pepperoni pizza. All were good! Feedback: drink options stink. No regular (unsweet tea), and no alcohol. I wish it were at least BYOB and they could charge a flat fee for this. Sometimes mama needs a drink at dinner! Paying before, your tips are going to suffer. We don't know anything about the food, or service. It also deters from ordering dessert. Menu- maybe I missed it, but are there no appetizers? Other than a small salad? I just ordered curbside after seeing great reviews. When I arrived to the plaza that the restaurant was in, I am not going to lie... my expectations dropped and I was weary. Disclaimer: it was dark out and I cannot speak for the inside of the restaurant as I did not walk inside. I was greeted by a friendly employee that immediately walked out to my car window the second I pulled in... now THAT is good service. She asked for my name, then returned a minute later with my food--on time as the email confirmation stated. HERE ME NOW... hands down best Italian food in Cypress. This puts Marvinos to shame (which I never liked to begin with but Cypress is limited with Italian). Chicken Piccata, Chicken Parm, Chicken Alfredo, Caesar salad... all the classics went beyond my expectations. My family and I are very pleased and ready to come back! read more
