    Oozy and warm atmosphere.

4.5 stars. Wonderful experience. An "old school" family owned steak house, that looks and feels so "leather and wood traditional", (in a good way). The service is prompt and friendly, and most of all, the food arrived piping hot. That in itself was great. Everything had very good flavor, and excellent texture. From the bread, to the meat, to the veggies, it was all crisp on the outside, and tender on the inside. In addition to the wonderful meal, the highlight of the evening was the key lime pie. It was a surprise birthday dessert, and neither of us believed we liked key lime pie until we tasted this. If we visit this area again in the near future we will, at a minimum, have cocktails (they were excellent), and more of the key lime pie.

Always good food, nice ambiance and service at Dario's. I used to live close to this restaurant and frequent here so I was missing it and decided to stop by for lunch. The best seafood, fresh veggies and drinks on this side of town. Don't skip it!

Went here for a birthday, I got the 6oz filet mignon and it was cooked perfectly. Also got the mashed potatoes and Brussels sprouts for my side. The mashed potatoes were great; however the brussel sprouts were a little on the harder side. The service was fast and the ambiance was nice and cozy. Still good overall and I would go again.

I remember visiting this business all the way back when it was the original home of their Tex-Mex concept Alicia's. As a steakhouse they've done some nice work to change the concept to feel more mature and intimate with the lighting and decor. I'll say that it loses at little luster when you see wine boxes about and carpeted floors in a restaurant never win me over. We cycled through a couple of servers, which ranged from standard politeness to slightly cold in tone, but never rude. It's much easier to just park one waiter with us so we know who to look for when questions come up. We visited for a Pre-Christmas dinner with the in-laws and I think there was enough variety within the menu. We had a 2 yr old and a picky Gen Z'er and they were able to order comfortably, alongside myself as a foodie Millennial. The steak options seemed quite upscale, I ordered an Akaushi Ribeye that was cooked exactly to temp and was salted quite nicely. This was the standout for me, and much of the consensus of the table. Beef was good but sides lacked seasoning, mainly just being under salted. Overall I think they service the steak crowd well in an area that probably won't support a super high end steakhouse. Some improvements are possible, but I think the steaks themselves make the price worth it.

Extremely unprofessional behavior by the manager. My girlfriend and I made the mistake of dining here for our valentines dinner. When our check arrived, I used the QR code on the check to pay my bill on my phone. I tipped 60.00 and attached the screenshot of my receipt. I was also emailed a copy of my receipt and attached that as well. Clearly, I tipped. Shortly after leaving, the manager called me (I booked through OpenTable so they have my number) and accused me of not tipping. I offered to send him the screenshot of my receipt, but he declined and accused me again of not tipping. My girlfriend and I were taken back by this baseless accusation since he basically called us cheap. Since he could tell I was upset by this, he gave me a fake apology but still said his records show I didn't tip. When I offered to send proof again, he still said no. Such childish behavior from a "manager." If you decide to dine here, do not use the QR code on the check to pay or you will receive a call from the manager accusing you of not tipping. To the manager who refused to see proof of my tip, see attached. If you and your staff are not able to see a tip when a customer pays the way I did, you should change your system. Pretty ridiculous from a "fine dining" restaurant. Will never return.

Great steakhouse in Cypress. The service was great; everyone was friendly and everything on our order came out perfectly. It's a cozy place with bar seating and a more intimate dining room area that would be perfect for smallish group dinners / events. My favorite part about the place was that there were multiple delicious gluten free options that my wife, who is Celiac, could eat. The beef short rib was placed on a bed of mashed potatoes and, in my opinion, that was the star of the show. The filet was cooked perfectly and the creme brulee was great. We'll definitely be back.

Living in NW Houston, it's been hard to find good food that rivals the inner loop. This one was finally one we could declare a bonafide find. It's so refreshing to find a place that takes special care for how they prepare each item. Everything was cooked in that way you know they didn't just cook mindlessly, but doing so in a way that ensured each texture was perfect and taste was perfect with every bite b

Not sure why this place has low reviews. The customer service was great and our waiter was very attentive. The manager even came by to make sure we were enjoying our meal. Even though they initially got my order wrong, they promptly fixed it. I definitely plan to go back. The food was delicious and the atmosphere was great!

The location itself has a really nice view of the lake with plenty of outdoor seating available. Our server, Chase, was fantastic! She took wonderful care of us throughout our meal, keeping everything running smoothly despite how busy it was. The food overall was enjoyable. We tried the deviled eggs, which were just okay and didn't quite live up to what I was hoping for. However, the Philly eggrolls were delicious! We also ordered the Bang Bang Shrimp, which is an absolute favorite of mine from my usual home location in Memorial. My biggest critique of this location comes down to those three-tiered motorized robot servers. Personally, I'm really not a fan. I feel like they cheapen the dining experience rather than elevate it. I don't quite understand the point when a human server--often just whichever nearby staff member happens to be passing by, rather than your actual server--still has to take the food off the tray and place it on your table. It ends up feeling inconsistent and impersonal. I know AI and tech are here to stay and I embrace it where it fits, but we have to ask ourselves: does this actually enhance the customer experience? In my opinion, it doesn't, and those bots must have cost a pretty penny! It's truly a shame to have stellar, personal service from someone like Chase alongside good food, only for the overall experience to feel just "fair" because of a robot cart delivering dishes. I definitely prefer my home location in Memorial. It's smaller, quieter, much easier to park, and thankfully isn't running robot servers (at least not yet!). While it was a fun outing with a great view, I'll likely stick closer to home for my regular visits.

A runner accidentally spilled two glasses of ice-cold water, leaving my partner with half of his pants and underwear soaked. His first response was to explain why it happened rather than apologize. The staff did clean up the water quickly, and the busboy deserves recognition for being especially attentive in cleaning the table, seat, and floor. Unfortunately, a young child even slipped nearby afterward while there were no wet-floor caution signs. What really bothered us was the lack of care toward my partner. He had to stand up and move out of the way while his wet seat was cleaned and had to ask for towels himself. Our waiter was otherwise nice, but seemed avoidant throughout and afterward. He never genuinely checked on my partner or asked if he was okay. His only passing check-in was asking "How's everything so far?" while walking by without stopping, and when we didn't respond, he continued walking and said, "That's so great." At the end of the meal, there was still no acknowledgment or apology, and we had to ask for a manager ourselves. The runner's comment also left a particularly bad impression. When he overheard us asking whether something could be done about the inconvenience, he walked away saying, "haha, let me get out of here before you get me in trouble." Given that my partner was genuinely uncomfortable and frustrated, this felt extremely unprofessional and insensitive. The manager did apologize, which we appreciated, but the resolution felt more like an attempt to quickly close the complaint than genuinely understand what happened. There was no apparent attempt to ask who was involved or address the inappropriate comment made by the runner. He offered to cover dry-cleaning costs, which wasn't particularly practical at ~10 PM, and then offered dessert, which my partner didn't even want. This was never about expecting a free meal because of an accidental spill. It was about empathy and service recovery. A simple "I'm so sorry this happened. I can only imagine how uncomfortable you must be sitting here cold and wet. Let me get you some towels," followed by checking back later, would have made a huge difference. Mistakes happen. How you handle them is what matters. Cleaning up the water addressed the mess, but it didn't address the customer who had just been soaked. I hope management uses this experience as an opportunity to retrain staff on basic customer service, accountability, and especially service recovery. The busboy showed the attentiveness we would have expected from the rest of the team, but unfortunately the overall handling of the situation left us very disappointed.

I tried making reservations online all week but couldn't find an option. I even called the day of and no one picked up, so I was a little nervous walking in without a reservation. Thankfully, they were able to seat us right away--apparently a lot of reservations had canceled or no-showed. The place itself is super cute. Not too busy when we first arrived, but it definitely picked up at one point. Everyone was friendly when we walked in, and the wine specials were amazing. I ordered the Pinot Noir flight, and for the price, it just made sense--totally worth it. Now the food... SO good. Everything was reasonably priced and absolutely delicious. We tried the empanadas, the ceviche, the mussels, and I got the steak with shrimp (not sure the exact name). It came with mashed potatoes and asparagus, and honestly it was phenomenal. I'd come back just for that dish alone. I definitely want to return for happy hour and maybe another girls' night. The only downside: our first server. I'm not sure if he was flustered, annoyed, or just having a day, but his energy toward our table was not it. We came out to relax and get away from attitudes at home, not to deal with more. He seemed impatient and uninterested, didn't offer recommendations, took our order and rushed off, and overall treated us very differently from the table next to us--who he was super sweet to, even giving them a hug at one point. I was the first one there and he was nice initially, but once the rest of my friends arrived, his whole demeanor changed. We asked for a different server, and that made ALL the difference. The second server--the gentleman with the bald head and beard--was phenomenal. Patient, helpful, friendly, and made us feel welcome. 100% recommend sitting in his section! Overall, the prices were reasonable, the drinks and food were delicious, and the vibe was great. I'll definitely be back--just hopefully with a smoother reservation process and NOT with that first server. Happy hour and steak night, here I come!
