Only slightly larger than some of the places you would find in one of the big cities.

Legit slice of pizza, legit cheesesteak. I'm First gen Italian American, wife is from Jersey. Been all over Philly and NYC, Italy. This place is where it's at. Closest you'll come to going to the northeast. They're still getting their groove, you can tell training is still taking place but everyone was friendly and helpful. Clean place. Looking forward to going back and trying more from the menu.

Great pizza, the slices are huge, the sauce has a unique taste and the cupped pepperonis compliment.

It was my boyfriend and i's first time here and we walked into a clean facility. Heather, the manager, was a great help, the hospitality her and her team gave was very sweet! Their ordering kiosk was down inside, we saw that the cashier was busy, so we just tried to help him out a little and order on their kiosk but it was down. We ordered by slice, and they were HUGE lol. Unfortunately, all the pizza they had out for us to choose from looked like its been out for a while, but we got lucky with a whole new pizza that had just came out. I got a slice of pepperoni and sausage and my boyfriend got a slice of pepperoni. Both were a solid 7.6/10! we'll be back to try different things, and because the hospitality was welcoming. Awesome team!

Given that they had just opened I don't want to be too harsh on my critique. They definitely should not have been doing delivery at this stage. I went into the restaurant and it was very busy and super hot. I ordered right after my friend did and everything came out one by one. She had two kids with her, and by the time the second person got their food, the first was done and so on. I ended up changing mine to to-go after waiting 45 minutes and it not coming out and my friend had finished theirs. The staff was also brand new and not trained well, but they were polite. I would wait quite a while before deciding if I'd try them again. They need to get all the kinks out first.

NY style pizza slices on display, ready to reheat. Deliciously greasy.

Please don't listen to the people who'd go to a restaurant on its first day of a soft open and complain about slow service. That is just absurdly idiotic. The food here is awesome and the employees are crazy friendly and eager to please. I got a slice of NY style pepperoni, perfectly crispy, with cupped and charred pepperoni and a lake of grease on top, just as it should be. The vodka sauce chicken cutlet sandwich was great too. The prices are definitely on the higher side, but they apparently bring in authentic bread and dough from the Northeast, and anything else is made from scratch. If I were closer I'd be in here all the time. Check them out.

I left a 5-star review because I think it's unfair for people to leave 1-star reviews on a hidden gem that's only been open for a week. I'd rate this pizza an 8.6/10 by Houston standards--not nationwide standards.  It's on my top 3 pizza places in all of Houston , The ingredients are fresh, the pizza is made to order, and it has a great crunch. Considering how new they are, I can only see them continuing to improve. Don't pay too much attention to the people leaving 1-star reviews over minor issues. I've ordered from here several times, and some of my barbershop clients have ordered as well and really enjoyed it. The only negative experience I've personally seen was when the owner of my shop had to cancel her pizza order during an extremely busy period. Even then, she understood they were overwhelmed, and since she'd tried the pizza before and loved it, it wasn't a big deal. The owners are very friendly and they show how much they have passion for their pizzas and how much they care about their Houstonian clients , positive or negative review.  For anyone thinking about trying this place, I'd recommend going Monday through Thursday when it's less busy. Grab a slice or two first, and if you like it, come back and order a whole pie. Recommend the traditional New York and the Jersey Boardwalk (upside down) it's more of a tomato pie. Anthony if you reading this keep going my man, keep baking with passion!

    Half NY/Half NJ

I AM BLOWN AWAY!! My childhood!! This is the ONLY place in the entirety of Houston that serves actual NY-style pizza. It does not get any closer than this. I have craved it forever. My husband and I have tried every single pizza place available in this area and we are always extremely disappointed. Even the non-"NY-style" joints are just sad. The places downtown are meh. Anthony & Luca's will change our lives. This is our new spot. No other pizza place compares, not even slightly. They far outshine anything else in flavor and quality. We found them searching for "food" on Google Maps, lol, you know how it goes. I think you guys should send out post cards to everyone that lives around here, maybe with a coupon or something. I hadn't heard of you before!! We had a half NY/half NJ, and we ordered the garlic knots. The garlic knots were tasty, very garlicky. But the star here is the pizza. It has that delicious, perfect amalgamation of NY-style cheese, marinara, grease & crust. The cheese is fantastic and tastes as it should, the marinara is bright and very flavorful, the grease is amazing (it is not just a nasty pizza grease, it's NY-style from high-quality ingredients melding together, very flavorful with a sheen, as it should be). The crust is actually crunchy, with a lovely toasted flavor. So so good. We preferred the NY to the NJ. My only suggestion from this experience is that the garlic knots should come with some sort of dipping sauce, or something to offset the garlic. The bread itself was made very well, you can tell they know how to bake back there. But eating it by itself becomes a bit of a dry experience, especially when you are eating a very flavorful & wet pizza. Marinara, alfredo, ranch or something like that would help I think, as a dipping sauce or cooking within (like Round Table garlic twists). It is still very well-made and tasty bread by itself. We ordered to-go inside. It took about 20 minutes. But honestly even if it took longer, we wouldn't mind. Real NY pizza is worth any wait. The manager Heather was very personable and attentive, she was definitely on top of all the customer orders. A lot people came in while we were waiting, even though it was 2pm on a Friday. I hope this place succeeds, they deserve it. We will be back soon! I want to try the mac & cheese balls and arancini. My husband wants to try the philly cheese steak - he is really looking forward to that, as we are not aware of any other place in Houston that uses Cooper Sharp cheese. And of course we will get another pie!!

NY cheese and NJ boardwalk half-and-half with garlic knots and wings

I rarely write reviews, but these folks deserve it. To my fellow East Coast transplants, this is a place you NEED to visit when you miss home and your favorite hometown pizzeria. I went during their soft opening week, and yes, they were absolutely slammed with orders and immediately informed us of the wait. We still decided to eat there and telling by the accents I heard while waiting, I knew I wasn't the only one who's been desperate for true a pizzeria in Houston. We ordered the NY/NJ half-and-half pie, garlic knots, and wings. It took about 30-40 minutes to get our food but to their credit they were very transparent and apologetic about this and explained their process is to take orders as they come (with nearly everything made fresh to order), hence the wait. Yes this sucks when you're the one waiting while others food is getting made, but the obvious trade off is your food gets the same care and attention when being made. This is exactly why we were ordering pizza here instead of Domino's or Cici's. When we got our food we instantly impressed and satisfied. The pizza was perfectly cooked with a proper undercarriage and crunch in each bite. The cheeese, sauce, and dough was fresh and full of flavor. The knots and garlic parm wings were covered in a wonderful garlic sauce and the knots in particular were massive. It may not be better than your favorite pizzeria back home but it's damn sure the best pizzeria experience I've had in Houston's city limits. These folks care about their pies and make some damn good ones. While enjoying our pizza I was able to catch a glimpse of a couple cheesesteaks that others had ordered. Needless to say, I will be back for those very soon

    Sarcone's Bakery in Philadelphia

Philadelphia suburb native that moved to Houston 3 years ago, and love Sarcone's Bakery - photo below is from South Philly store. Went for the Cheesesteak but also took a pizza home for the family. Drove 45 minutes from Fulshear to check this place out. Service was great - everyone in the store was super friendly, place was clean and food came out pretty quick. Cheesesteak was great - good quality ribeye, Cooper Sharp and onions were on point. The Sarcone's roll was OK - but understand as it travels along way. Definitely will be back, and top Cheesesteak in Houston. Will try the Amoroso roll next time. The surprise of the day was the pizza. Ordered half pepperoni and half plain. Hands down one of the best pizza's in town. We travel for pizza - Home Slice, Tiny Champions, Coastline, Romano's, etc. This is the most authentic NJ/NY pizza I have had. Well done Anthony & Lucas!!! Highly recommend.

I ordered the 4 meat combo and doubled on the meat. Which is confusing. Why offer a 4 meat plate but only serve three meats (ribs, brisket and sausage) so I was curious to know what the single portion of brisket was so I convinced a coworker to order the 2 meat. So now to the part you're wanting. The meat is HELLLLLLLA dry and old!!!!! I understand a lot of the meats are prepped but it's been drying out toooo long!!! The ribs still had membrane on the back of the rib and the brisket was damn near an inner tube. The sausages were undercooked. More like all the meat was steamed and not smoked. Take a look at the pics for clarification. The servers were ok, a little pushy though. The atmosphere is nice but I definitely didn't come here for that. This place definitely is not a try again for me

This counter service bbq restaurant is located on Cutten close to the Beltway and Hwy 249. I've…read moreeaten there twice. First of all this is primarily an outdoor restaurant that has tables with umbrellas covering them in a rustic farm type setting. Fortunately there is a small house next to it that offers indoor seating and is cooled and heated along with restrooms. The exterior and interior decor is quite cute and is a major point for eating here. Whoever did the decorating did a good job. My first visit was for a brisket sandwich combo with chips and a drink for $10. This sandwich had plenty of sliced brisket on sandwich bread. The meat was a little tough but my biggest complaint about this meal was the bread. After adding some of their tasty table bbq sauce the bread gave away almost immediately and this became a knife and fork meal quickly. I am surprised that the chef would use regular white sandwich bread as it never had a chance. I wouldn't order a sandwich here again as long as they use sandwich bread. Big mistake. The price was right but the food wasn't (2). A couple of weeks later I returned to try a 2 meat plate of ribs and pulled pork with sides of beans and potato salad for $14. This meal was much better. The first thing I noticed was the quantity of meat as it was a very generous amount. The two ribs were large, meaty and tender. Also the pulled pork with their bbq sauce was good tasting too. The beans only consisted of the beans and sauce but had a pleasant taste and the mashed potatoes were of the mustard flavor but mellow in flavor. For $14 this was a lot food and I enjoyed all of it (3.5). The prices here are reasonable and serving sizes above average so there is value to eating here. The meats and sides are all acceptable just beware of ordering a sandwich. They should really consider going to hamburger buns or Texas Toast to solve that problem. The decorations are very rustic Texas theme oriented and you will enjoy them. However on both of my visits I sat inside due to the flies!
