They have an experienced, professionally educated and talented staff equivalent to any "Upscale Manhattan Salon" I have patronized in the past, minus the over-inflated prices. I'm also a client who can't live without my Great Lengths extensions, which the owner Angela has been doing for me for over 8 years. I never go anywhere where people don't comment on my gorgeous hair. However, because Angela is also a wonderful teacher and huge believer in educating all her employees, there are now many capable stylist in the salon with the ability to maintain my hair as well. Well...Shalyn has done it again. I have the most temperamental hair with tons of color dumped on it. I have been going to her every 6 weeks religiously (I'm gray) for a few years. She fixed the damage I had done over the years going from dark to light and back again and again. I like to change things up quite often and she keeps my expectations realistic. There are times, including my most recent hair adventure, where we just don't know what to expect because my hair likes to play games. But as usual she did not disappoint. I absolutely love the color and she has managed to keep my hair healthy through this color correction process. I've been going to hair addict for the past 2 years now and i've never had a bad experience. All of the hairdressers i've been too have never disappointed me. The ones i've been too are the best!! Amanda, Trish, and Rose never fail but to do my hair amazing! Rose also does my makeup for prom, special events, and my Sweet 16. She makes me always look flawless and feel beautiful! Their staff are always so nice and welcoming. The girls at the sinks washing my hair are so kind for the few minutes you are with them they wash my hair so nicely that i don't have to wash my hair for a whole week. Love them all always!! This place is amazing. Everyone I came in contact with was not only the sweetest but knew what they were doing. I got my hair cut by Antoinette and this chick is straight hardcore. She nailed it. I got my color done by Shalyn and let me tell you, this girl is the real deal. The blond is exactly the color I wanted, I was nervous it would be brassy and yellow. Nope she is a true artist. I was there for a long time because I am going from dark brown to blonde and every step was detailed and thought out. It was Iike watching a scientist at work. Desiree at hair Addict has a special touch with knowing how to mix colors that work well with your complexion and style! I have balayages done along with cuts and blow outs that i have been so pleased with. I was skeptical because I love my hair more than anything but she made sure that she never damaged my hair because from my hair being black she adding tons of balayages that were perfectly done and even throughout.
