I paid $130 for a full set and a pedicure, so for that price I expected better attention to detail. I left disappointed. On my way out, the cashier/receptionist said she'd be right back , I'm assuming she needed to grab her glasses or something. While I was waiting, I happened to look up and noticed the lady doing a pedicure watching me, clearly making sure I wasn't about to walk out without paying. I understand businesses have to be careful, but what got me was the eye roll when I looked back at her. Like girl... nobody told you to watch me anyway I never should've cheated on my regular nail tech. Will I be back? Absolutely not.

My eyebrows were extremely thin. Completely opposite of what I had asked for. When I expressed how upset I was, she plainly said "They were too thick before" dismissing everything I'd said. I wasn't heard, and instead of providing the service I asked for, she did what she wanted. I left on the verge of tears. A place that disregards a customers clear instructions and personal preferences should not be in business. I have never had this happen to me before, and I am in such shock that someone would basically disregard a person who is payings preference and do the complete opposite. I cannot in good conscience recommend this salon, especially for something as lasting as waxing. Truly beware. Truly disappointing and unprofessional. He was very quick - which I assumed was a good thing and he knew what he was doing - but noticed my nails hurt when using his nail drill to prep the nail. I mentioned he was going fast and it burned a bit, he said that's how he works. I thought nothing of it since builder gel can sometimes burn, and gave him a second try. The second manicure was so painful that when I got in my car my fingernails physically hurt. I have since gone to other nail techs who say my nails are damaged because of this. You can see the two rings in my nails from where he was rough and damaged my nail bed. The spots the rings are at in my nails hurt now whenever they are worked on. The new part of my nails are fine. Be VERY careful if you go here. My nails have another 2-3 months to go before they are healed. I'm heartbroken because his gel work was beautiful, and it was one of the best LOOKING manicures I've ever gotten, but I will not be returning.

It was a longer process but it came out better than acrylics. The powders are color so no need for polish or worry about nail color chipping off. I had to shape them to the almond style and they are a bit long for me while I work. But, I make it happen. Clean salon and I loved the kiddy chairs and especially the main pedi chairs for adults! The amber foot soaking sinks are just gorgeous! I would've rather had a pedi done, but since I have a new tattoo on my leg I didn't want to risk it. Now I just need to find a salon in Tampa that has the dipping powders. I felt bad though, my sister in law paid $18 for my nieces toenail polish. She didn't even have them clipped, all she asked for was to polish her toes. I'm pretty sure that should have cost $7 or $8 just for a kids polish.
