I booked an appointment for a cherry chocolate hair color. I showed inspiration photos, explained my previous color history. Unfortunately, my hair turned out much darker than expected and lacked the cherry tones I specifically requested. What made the experience even more disappointing was how several parts of the appointment were handled. Without discussing it with me or asking for my permission, the stylist began trimming my eyebrows. I came in for a hair color appointment, not an eyebrow service. By the time I realized what she was doing, she had already cut hair from my eyebrows, and I was very upset because I never agreed to have them altered. Before trimming my eyebrows, she used a wet cotton pad to remove makeup around the area, which caused water to drip down my face and ruined the full face of makeup I had arrived wearing. During the shampoo, the water pressure was so strong that water repeatedly splashed onto my face, making the experience uncomfortable.I understand that hair services don't always turn out exactly as planned, and I know mistakes can happen. However, I believe communication and consent are essential. I left feeling unheard, uncomfortable, and disappointed with both the result and the overall experience. Unfortunately, I no longer feel comfortable trusting this stylist with my hair. read more

My main goal for the visit was to fix my bad hair cut and get rid of the blonde/yellow since I hated the color (not her work). I showed her a reference photo of some of her previous work and she made magic happen :) I had a bad layered hair cut that she was able to fix. I was nervous at first because she said my hair cut was pretty bad (it was)... and she cut it on three separate occasions throughout my visit. I thought it was because my hair wasn't coming out right but she was just making sure it was even and fixed.. it came out nice.
