What attracted me to her was how natural but flawless her work was. She was easily accessible. Replied to my msg and my appointment was booked within an hour. I've never left a review before but the horrible service i received from ester was beyond anything i have experienced. She instructed me to come in at 3 months for keratin Bond removal, so i did. When i arrived she said they were holding up and could stay in. I made an appointment to come back a few weeks later for removal. She proceeded to charge me $50 for that appointment (lasting maybe 10 minutes, a waste of my time) as a consultation that i didn't ask for. When i told her i wasn't sure when i would reinstall, depending on the health of my hair, she then charged me another $100 for removal which should have been free. Then she would later charge me another $50 consultation if i decided to reinstall at a later date. When i simply questioned all of these charges, she cancelled my appointment against my wishes, and wouldn't rebook to take out extensions she was responsible for installing. She calls her service luxury but it is the farthest thing i have ever experienced from high end. read more

I was not happy to write this review but I was asked to give an honest review from Ester. I had to cancel my own appointment because I had an emergency but wanted to keep my daughters appointment for her party. I sent pics of what my daughter wanted and I was quoted a price according to the pics. I was told to have hair semi clean for the day of appointment. I had faith that the style would be done remarkably for the price of $125. I thought it would be like a true princess. Not so it did not represent anything like the pics the bow made of my daughters own hair was not defined it looked like a ball of hair behind her head and the hair that was supposed to be curled in a beach waves was not representative of at least 10% of the pic. I know hair types affect the outcome of the style but my daughters hair is not hard to style. I was very disappointed with the end result. I felt ripped off. She had her appointment at 8:30 finished at 10am and it dropped by 1pm. This was suppose to last til at least 5pm with hairspray. I'm sorry but I didn't see why I paid 125 for a hairdo that I could of had done myself if I had the time. The hairdo was worth about $50 and that's generous. No wash no blowdry, nothing but curling and tie hair into a bow that didn't look like a bow. Too much hair was used to create the bow that it didn't look like it was a bow. I'm sad and very disappointed. Too expensive for this hairdo on a tween. Not fair!! I understand she has a following with a certain community and many other cultures but it is not nice to overcharge for a child hairstyle that didn't entail too dramatic updo. I went to Esther for the first time to get my hair extensions done. I have had bad experiences with extensions and I was going to give up on getting extensions again but I was looking forward to a change. I can't possibly recommend Ester enough. She doesn't stop unless you're completely in love with your hair. If there is something you're unsure about, she will spend the extra few minutes or even hour perfecting your hair style. She's so nice and professional and actually listens to what you want. WOW! Ester's hands are made of GOLD! First off..I have horrible, horrible hair. Thin, damaged and FRIZZY as hell from years of ironing/ blow drying so I was always apprehensive about trying the wave trend since the first 2 times were MISERABLE fails (hair fell in 5 minutes). When I contacted Ester, she assured me that she had lots of experience working with thin hair and promised me my hair would hold for the night. BOY DID IT!! IT HELD ALLLL NIGHT! AND ALL MORNING!! NO EXTENSIONS NEEDED! Needless to say, I was thrilled and she instantly became my go to girl. She effortlessly copies any hair style I show her a picture of and always makes me feel comfortable when asking me if there's anything I'd like her to change or fix up a little. I've paid hundreds of dollars for "insta-famous" hairstylists to install extensions and copy hairstyles for me, all of which usually ended with me cursing them under my breath as I walked out of their salon, less than impressed for the $$$$$ I paid.
