I went to Jordan for tape-in extensions; it was both my first time working with her and using tape in extensions. I had an amazing experience with her, starting from the initial contact to set the appointment. She responded very quickly and answered all of my questions. I had a last minute work emergency the day before my appointment, and she was able to re work me into her schedule!! Her and her assistant were so sweet! They worked super efficiently and quickly! You can tell that she definitely has experience and comfort with tape ins. They look absolutely so natural and she did 3 packs in a little over an hour. I had a bad experience with a previous stylist. She did me dirty and lied to me. I wouldn't have known she lied to me had it not been for Jordan. Not only did she slay my hair extensions but she truly made me feel comfortable. She told me that the other stylist I had previously gone to is overcharging me for the hair I purchased before install. Jordan was recommended to me by my laser receptionist whom is one of Jordan's clients. I loved her energy as well and she told me that Jordan would tell me the honest truth about the previous stylist whether or not she's lying to me. Jordan did. She had no ill intent to pull me as a client, but her honesty and kindness was what made me feel comfortable and safe. She is very kind and told me the honest truth about everything that the previous stylist lied about. She is very knowledgeable about hair and she's an expert extension artist. My first appointment with her she had already ordered the hair for me by photo consultation. She looked at photos of my hair and knew what colors would match. No in person needed. That's how awesome she is. Of course if you want something extra specific she will need to have you in her chair to consult with you, but she's amazing and blended multiple colors for my keratin K tips. She's a really sweet person too you can tell she actually cares about her clients and makes sure you're feeling good. You know when you meet someone and you can feel your own energy shift in a decline because their energy is off putting or just feels dark and soul sucking? The previous hairstylist did that to me Jordan did the opposite and brought light and energy with her with every conversation prior to the appointment as well as during and even after my hair install appointment. I never sat in a chair of a stylist that I really felt like she could do anything to my hair and it wouldn't make me freak out after. I have truly cried after hair appointments in my life, whether they didn't do what I wanted or I wasn't happy with the result. I've been coloring my own hair for years because of it. I have not sat in a salon or stylists chair for years, my neighbor would cut my hair. The previous stylist I went to whom I have mentioned gave me that same almost sinking feeling of "is she going to mess up my hair when we have the actual install" and just almost know-it-all energy. That stylist asked me the moment I sat down if she wants her to fix my color before giving me extensions. I said no I have a nice color that I did and I like. At the end of that consult that previous stylist said "if it were up to me I would do a full color correction on you before I give you extensions but you don't want that." Ahem no way to talk to someone. When I sent photos of my hair to Jordan for a consult to see what extensions to go with since I did not continue service with that previous stylist for obvious reasons, Jordan said my blending was really good. Even during the appointment I asked if I would even need a color correction like the previous stylist said no Jordan took one look at my hair and said that I didn't need one and that my hair color and texture is very blended and nice. She said she's surprised at that the previous stylist said I need a color correction. I agreed. Anyway appointment went swell as can be, she's gentle on hair and knows what she is doing. It had been a good 10 years since I've had keratin extensions so sleeping on them was a huge adjustment. I woke up in a lot of pain. I knew all of this was going to happen by the way, I was informed by Jordan that the first few nights were going to be my hair adjusting to the bonds and that I would be tender headed as most people get that after this type of install. However I texted Jordan and asked her if she could take a look as it hurt a lot. She told me to come in right away (on her free time mind you, she's awesome) and she took a look and made SURE SURE I'm ok with all the bonds and removed a few that were in problem places (for me because everyone gets tender in different places) and I felt a lot better. I felt safe that she made me feel comfortable enough during and before the appointment that I knew I could ask her to check on them and she would because she wants her clients to be happy and comfortable. That's a big thing with her and I can't thank her enough for not only adjusting some bonds but being a kind human being. I personally think she has a lot of empathy for someone in her field, not to dump on other stylists because there are a few but it's rare to find someone who actually WANTS you to ask questions and go to them Incase something happens. It's rare and I recommend her to anyone who tells me my hair looking stunning. Because it does. These photos prove that.
