By day three in Oklahoma, my hair frizzed out pretty bad so I decided to look for a local place to get a blowout in order to have nice hair for the rest of my trip. I didn't need a full salon just a blow dry so when I googled hair places near me for a blowout this place came up and it was close by. They got me in on the day & time I needed. Once I arrived, they greeted me with smiles and genuine hospitality. I got my blow-out service from Katherine who was polite, friendly and did my hair beautifully (see pics). We engaged in friendly conversation while I got my blowout. What a great personality. Give this girl a raise! I checked in with my Yelp app and received a discount on my service. I was very happy with my visit. Great location, awesome hospitality with a beautiful outcome. I highly recommend this salon for getting beautiful for the weekend, prepping for a pageant, wedding up-do's, ladies night or any other time you want to get glammed up. The other thing that's awesome about her is she has been helping me grow out my hair. Usually stylist want to cut it but she was the first one I had that said no will just take a little bit off and we can grow this hair out. She gave me tricks and techniques to help me, and now my hair is in the best condition of my life. She's very honest, and very reasonable I love the salon everybody that works here has been so kind and professional. I have pretty curly hair but I can usually give myself a blowout in about 15 minutes and get my hair pretty straight and frizz free. Most salons do a WAAAY better job than me, giving me perfect salon waves with a round brush in about the same amount of time. Unfortunately, my stylist at Coco & Rose had a hard time getting any frizz out let alone straightening my hair or creating any style. After a significant amount of time my hair was still completely frizzy and without any style so she ended up just using a curling iron to try and add some style. I was ultimately really disappointed - I had to go home and straighten out the prom curls and defrizz. My stylist mentioned that she had gotten a new blow dryer which doesn't get hot enough so perhaps she has corrected that problem since then. The team was really friendly and perhaps worth giving a shot to see if they have gotten better equipment. Unfortunately, I wont be back.

It makes my hair look thicker, I look younger, and I just woke up and even without combing it looks perfect. It was $55, which is reasonable because she took off 4-6 inches. Her coloring with haircut is $145. I paid almost $300 at another salon to receive invisible highlights and non-existent layers. I was furious after leaving that salon, but I was very happy leaving this salon. I'm giving Michael's card to my coworkers because she's so good. I almost never do that. And I'm picky with my hairstylists.

I explained to Michael that I wanted a a curl-friendly shaggy bob cut that would suit my thick, sometimes coarse hair. With little to go off of, she transformed my hair into the most amazing cut. I feel cool for the summer! Thank you, Michael!
