Sometimes you'll get hairdressers that try to point out the flaws of your last cut, or things that need to be fixed, but Blue was very complimentary and sweet. After she blow dried my hair, I realized I should have asked for more to be trimmed off. I felt so guilty, but she was so kind and immediately offered to trim more. After she was done, it was perfect! This salon feels really clean, modern, and airy - plus it's in a great location. Make sure to ask for Blue, she's the best.

I went in for a spiral perm with clear reference photos and left with a result that did not match what was discussed and was assured was possible. Within weeks, the curl continued to fall out, and at this point there is very little curl remaining--even with styling products; what a loss of $460! After multiple attempts to follow up with Pamela Coryell the owner and Piage their "perm specialists", I did not receive any timely responses from either. When Pamela did finally reply, my concerns were dismissed and the outcome was blamed on my "hair canvas", including claims that my ends were lightened and too porous. This is simply not accurate--my hair is NOT colored, and I have had previous spiral perms which held well 8+ months and have matched the spiral perm look requested. To be certain I was not off my rocker, I had another salon in evaluate my hair that very same week I got the perm, and they confirmed the perm did not properly take, did not reflect what was asked for and they said I should be refunded. What's most disappointing is the lack of accountability from Salon Technique. Instead of acknowledging that the service fell short, the responsibility was redirected onto me the client! I requested multiples times for a refund and was denied and the only offer sent back was that I could return and re-perm little ares here and there with no promise that they would take! UNBELIEVABLE - I'm sharing this so others can make an informed decision. My experience says beware and do not go here. I expected professionalism and accountability, and unfortunately this salon does not hold to this level of professionalism. Instead of scheduling a time for me to come back and get a full weave with the color I picked out, they put some kind of a color rinse on, washed it out and had me out the door in 1/2 hour. I will pay for the $40 haircut that was in addition to the $300 color treatment and I will pay for the rinse they put on, but I will not pay $300 for a disastrous color treatment that they did not properly address and make right. Unprofessional Work, Visible Attachments, and Damaged Extensions…read more I came here for a hair extension installation and unfortunately had a very disappointing experience. The first installation was placed too high, not blended, not color matched, and the attachment points were clearly visible. I returned for a correction, but the issues were still not fixed. I was then charged a second time for services that should have been included in the first appointment. She didn't do the work correctly the first time, and the second time the work was still only halfway done -- yet the charges were even higher. Not honest at all, and it felt like she cared more about charging the maximum price than about my hair. My hair could have been done within an hour to an hour and a half at most, but I was kept there for over three hours because the owner kept leaving to work on other clients while her assistant worked on me. She probably spent about an hour total on my hair, yet I was sitting there for more than three hours. It felt overbooked, rushed, and money‑driven, not professional. One of my bundles was cut down to about one‑third of its original size, and the removed hair was never mentioned or returned to me. Several beads were installed incorrectly, with the hair not looped fully through the bead, leaving the strands stuck and ripping when I tried to comb it. Even after two visits, the extensions were still not blended or cut properly, and the attachment points are still visible if you look closely. For the price I paid, this should never have happened. When I attempted to resolve the issue directly, the merchant offered only a $100 refund and stated that was the maximum she was willing to provide. I'm sharing this so others can make an informed decision.
