Slightly awkwardly waiting in the reception area while she juggles another client. Slightly disappointed at the lack of mindless magazines - No Self, Seventeen, Vogue or Glamour. Fortunately, there was Harpers Bazaar so I could catch up on Paris Hilton's latest. I did the face framing height lights - 8 foils but I think she gave me a few extra. Saved around $60 by skipping toner and a blow dry. Asked for thick highlights, and they looked a bit skinned but the stylist showed me how they were actually thick. She was right. She didn't show me my hair automatically at the end. I had to ask, but I did like what I saw.

For the last 6 months I tried different home remedies and nothing was working. My hair was dry and curl at the top was just not doing anything. That's when I decided to look on Yelp and see what others have been saying about local salons. This brought me here to FRS, Veronica the owner was very responsive through Yelp messaging and suggested glossing with some curl treatments. After reading the existing reviews I decided to give it a try. Veronica had an opening for today with a stylist that I remember reading good reviews on. An hour later I met with Sandy. She took the time to ask me about my hair and evaluate my needs and my hairs needs. After protein treatments and drying I am happy to report I have some curl revived. I don't expect to leave with my healthy curly hair but I left with hair that I believe is the beginning stages of restoration and rejuvenation. I decided to buy the product line they used to continue the curl treatments. After about a month of use I will be sure to provide another update as to the results. Thank you Sandy for a really great experience. Sometimes we overthink going to new places and trusting new people but you made this experience an enjoyable one and I will be back soon.

The only thing I didn't know is not to wash my hair and arrive with it wet for an updo. you should arrive with clean, dry hair. Kendall shared it takes more time as now it had to be dried .. I offered to just do the blowout, but she was very sweet and OK with sticking to the updo plan. Both of our hairs receive lots of compliments at the wedding that night. Shop is always clean. They even have a TV on with Sports or whatever show of your request.   Convenience: Great Clips also has an mobile app called Online Check-In. This app lets you add your name to the list at your selected Great Clips location. Once you have checked in online, the app tell you what your estimated wait would be, a convenience I find especially if I am running errands. Once you arrive at the shop, you're pretty much next or almost next in line. Without using the app, you pretty waste a lot of time waiting. A win-win in my opinion.   Incentives & Promos: After you're done and have paid, on the bottom of receipt, you often times get a promotional $2.00 - $3.00 off discount applicable on your next haircut, or dollars off when you purchase one of their hair products. Most salons CANNOT cut hair professionally even though they charge you for said "professional cut." Angela will give you an outstanding cut. The appt was very expensive at $250; but, I felt the added topper work was ALMOST worth it. However, while Nicole's ASSISTANTwas doing the cap highlights, and she was doing NOTHING as she had finished for the day, Nicole said she wanted to do the topper at a later appt. I reluctantly agreed for her convenience! Then at the completion of my new ORANGE hair, this SCAMMER had the audacity to still charged me the ENTIRE $250, for ONLY simple cap highlights, on THIN hair!
