I moved to the area over a year ago, and needed a new salon. I went into Hair Cuttery and was so lucky to have my first appointment there with Alexa. She not only styled my hair so beautifully, but made my visit there feel like I was with a friend. She is so warm, and I couldn't have been more comfortable. I've been going to see her consistently twice a month. She not only styles my hair, but she has highlighted it several times. Highlighting can be tricky, but Alexa did my highlights exactly how I had described to her. They were even better than I had in my mind. I also never feel rushed. She spends so much time with me. I love her input when I'm not sure what I want to do with my hair. If you need a new stylist, I would strongly recommend you go to her, you will leave there feeling so happy ! read more

I scheduled a hair appointment for my daughter for her confirmation a few weeks in advance. confirmed the appointment several times. And I was called up 5 minutes before the appointment time and cancelled on because our stylist wasn't able to come to work that day for whatever reason. Even if she had some sort of emergency I feel someone should have been able to be the back up since this was a very special occasion. I had no back up and had to wind up doing her hair myself. It was very disappointing and stressful to be cancelled on last minute for a special occasion hairstyle. We also had a consultation weeks prior where we specifically went over what the hair style was going to be and when they called me they had no idea what we were even coming in for. They didn't even seem to feel sorry about the cancellation. Or at least not enough to make it up to me somehow. I was not offered a free haircut or style for future which honestly should have been the least they could have done. All I got was a sorry I can't help you. Now I have to find a new hair place because I am not going there after this incident. read more

If you have remotely long hair do not ever come here, my hair which used to go down to my lower back is now at my collarbone. This is after I asked her to only cut it a half of a inch, she kept turning me away from the mirror so I couldn't see she cut of 2 years of hair growth in 10 mins. Never EVER come here. read more

Went here for a color correction after a stylist (at another location, not hair cuttery) completely messed me up! I wanted a shadow root and somehow ended up with the first pic and a burnt scalp. I went to hair cuttery and saw Jessie, who was able to give me the shadow root I wanted without further damaging my hair. I'm so pleased with the results and wish I went here in the first place. I will definitely only trust hair cuttery from now on. read more

Unfortunately I had a very bad color experience there today. The stylist was supposed to be following a color card that had my formula on it. The past two visits were successful. Not sure what went wrong today, but my color was way off and she couldn't correct it. I actually felt bad because she was alone and the phone was ringing off the hook and people were walking in for services and they had to be turned down. I could sense the frustration from the stylist throughout the entire visit. I would not recommend going on a Sunday. read more

I spent about 4 hours in there with Jessie and I loved the way my hair came out. Since Covid I hadn't really gone anywhere by my self with out my boyfriend, my friends or my mom and this was the first outing I had by my self and I had a blast. based on the reviews i came in a few weeks ago hoping to get exactly what i asked for which was straitening my curly hair and just cutting an inch, and having it last for a while, this lady cut so much off , i had to wear a hat for a week. not only did she butcher my hair, the keratin treatment burned my hair :( im horrified, and 2 weeks later my hair is wavy again . unbelievable!!! i was literally ripped off and the staff in this salon got an attitude problem thinking they all that. they rip you off with extra charges, and have a nasty comment if you do not leave a tip " they think" they deserve. when you come up to leah the blonde hair woman in the front which i think is the Boss with googly eyes and blonde hair looking like baby yoyo claiming there are NO REFUNDS, and no redo's even though i explained her the situation... how nasty is this place with staff who do not how to welcome or talk to people. im not coming back, i was just in the city that day, think before you let someone do your hair in this salon!! read more

Her stylist, Catherine, was extremely rushed and didn't listen to her whatsoever, leading to a haircut she was entirely horrified by and had to go get fixed at another business. I have been coming here for at least 10 years now. I use Danielle C and I love her so much. She works her wonders and has a lot of experience. She is amazing from color to cut, updos and styling. We used Danielle for my sisters wedding and she and Veronica did all the girls hair and everyone was very happy with both of them. The prices you can't beat! You won't regret making your apt with Danielle C! I have moved a few years ago ( further from her) and thought I would try a Groupon......BAD BAD BAD mistake!!! Thank God for Hair Cuttery. I've gone to many salons and Hair Cuttery has a good balance of affordability, competence, and swiftness. Sitting on a salon chair for more than an hour is not how I like to spend my free time. I have short hair and it does not require much time to touch up and blowout. Taylor has me in and out in less than 45 minutes and gives me the look I want from a photo on my phone. The price and extra time allows me to get my nails done right after. I took away a star from my rating because both times I arrived at least 15 minutes early and was taken after my appointed time. read more

Worst service ever! I made an appointment to get my hair cut at 8:15pm. I arrived 10 minutes late due to traffic. A woman with red hair and a tattoo on her right shoulder snottily told me that they had a policy stating that if a customer is 10 minutes late, the next one is taken and they said they didn't have time to do my hair because they were going to close soon. First off, the place closes at 9 and it was only 8:25pm. Secondly, I wanted a trim, not a perm or coloring. I for one am never going there again and I don't recommend anyone go there. Go to a salon that isn't a chain salon. Go to one that has hairdressers with years of experience under their belt, not vocational school graduates who have no damn clue what they're doing. read more

Worse service ever! It says walk INS welcome. I walked in but was told I would have to wait 2 hours for a basic hair cut. There was only one person in there having their hair cut by a red head. The lady who told me 2 hours was not cutting anyone's hair and was extremely snorting as well. Walked out and went to another salon. Won't be going here again.
