David was nice but gave me the worst haircut I have ever had. He said he had been doing this 30 years. I asked for some layers, and he quite literally took a chunk from the back of my head, chopped it, then used thinning shears to try and blend it. One side is also significantly shorter. When I went to get it fixed somewhere else, the stylist was horrified and could not even understand the rhyme or reason as to why he'd cut it that way. Will never go back! I tried with a stylist..the same girl a few times and she just couldn't get it right. She tells me they only use one kind of hair product which is redkin. Didn't work in my hair for color and the prices they charge for lack of experience is ridiculous! Not a nice atmosphere either...kind of a dump! Please don't go here. I was desperate as my hairdresser had surgery and was out for a few months. I have short hair, so I need a cut every 4 weeks. I instructed the gal to please just take .25 inch all around. She knew I was only there because my regular hair dresser was Ill. I left there scalped. I look like a man with maybe .25 inches from my scalp. I'm going to have to hibernate in my house for a week or two because it's THAT bad! Brittany is unprofessional and unskilled. She will look away towards the door or the waiting line the instant she clips your hair because she is, simply put, a head case. Also, if she doesn't know how to employ a technique and does it improperly she will just blame it on you. Highly inconsistent. You'll never be given the same haircut twice. Stay away. read more

Chaela is AMAZING. If you think this place is overpriced you are insane. $100 for a total transformation of your hair is nothing. I called a few other salons before them and they wanted twice as much. Anyways...This woman took me from patchy dyed black hair to a beautiful light brown ombré SO PERFECTLY!! Got sick of hearing how my hair wouldn't look good unless I bought the $40 shampoo and $40 conditioner and $20 hair product, etc., etc., ad nauseum. Would rather go to the one on Taylor Road. Far too overpriced! I stopped in for an all over color and cut and was quoted $105! Their website lists a single application color as $50 and a cut as $18. They even have a value package listed that includes a color, Redken treatment, cut and blow dry for $75! When I questioned the price I was told the single application is only for the roots and if I wanted all of my hair it costs more. I did not stay. read more

I dont believe that i wasnt treated very nicely by the stylist that did my hair. I understand that they only have around 15 minutes for a cut and are rushed. That being said I brought in a tangle teezer (a special brush) for her to use on my hair and she refused! I have a highly sensitive scalp and would have tipped her generously for accommodating me! When she shampood my hair she used COLD WATER and sprayed me in the face.... im not sure if she had the diva attitude and was upset at me for bringing my own brush or if she was incompetent!? Her license on her mirror said she has been doing hair for 4 years. I know students who have more respect for people and they dont get paid like a cosmetologist does. How does she expect to grow as a stylist of she cant treat clients like people? She was snippy and judgemental and I will NEVER go to her again!!!!! read more
