I could not be more disappointed. I came here to get a toner because my roots were slightly orange. My hair was a white-ish blonde when I came in. Claudia over-toned my hair and had me leave with wet hair. I went home, dried my hair, and it's GREEN/GREY. It looks absolutely terrible. I've never hated my hair so much. This place did me dirty. It had been four years since I had a hair cut. I decided to go in for a cut and get 5" removed. The hair stylist did a horrid job. Super chunky and blunt cuts. My hair was so UNEVEN. She rushed me out the seat and I cried when I got to my car. I wouldn't return for them to even fix it because if you couldn't provide a decent cut the first time why would you now? I went to a different salon in Riverview who fixed it and made it beautiful. Briana was very friendly. The rating is for making me pay for a serious problem that is not Professional. Had hair cut and color: The dark brown color used on my hair became a dark Orange color on my roots. Briana stated the color must have been left open, old, and oxidized on my head an Orange color, and then asked me what I wanted to do. FIX IT...The appt. took a lot longer due to trying to fix the color with a 10-minute color which it finally covered and looked Brown. What made the problem even worse was giving me a discount of $3.00. Yes, $3.00 off, when the ENTIRE charge should have been discounted!! I gave Briana a great tip due to her time and the cut but honestly, she should have called her supervisor and discussed it immediately and then DISCOUNTED for the ORANGE color !!! If I could give this place zero stars I would. I have tried to go here three times to get my hair done. Today, I had an appointment for 8:30 a.m. I got up early on a Saturday to get here on time to avoid a long wait time despite having an appointment. Apparently, the stylist felt like it was okay to try to squeeze in another appointment even though I was already scheduled. After twenty minutes I was still waiting after the stylist was talking to the previous customer about the management phone calls that she needs to be on due to her responsibilities at the salon. Then the stylist moved on to upselling hair products. I was sitting there looking at the clock because I have things scheduled for the day. The dealbreaker for me was listening to all of the personal conversations and then just when I thought it was my time for my past due appointment it moved on to schedule the next haircut for the person before me. They do a good job on your hair, but I do not want to do business with a place that has zero respect for me as a customer. Clearly, it is part of the culture to signal that the stylist's time is far more valuable than yours. I almost left the last time when the gentleman scheduled to cut my hair also did the same thing. Then he told me that he could not complete my appointment because he was short on time. The key to customer service is to make your clients feel like they want to come back. I got seated right away as a walk in. Friendly staff however the absolute worst haircut I have ever had. I had to go get a redo at my old salon. ( I have just moved). The stylist who did the redo agreed with me. I did get a discount but still not worth the money. Just cannot recommend this place. read more

Went in for a trim to reshape my curly long hair and ended up with all the wrong angles and a chunky whole off one side. I showed visual photos of what needed to be done to shape and the girl, Amanda did not listen mor follow my simple request or follow the many photos i brought in of my many hairstyles. She clearly had no technique skills what so ever and she should stick to kids cut. I would not recommend her at all, she doesn't listen to customer and then tells them the policy of the company is , if your not happy no pay. This is great but then you either wait the cut out or recut. Pointless policy , when stylist ate suppose to deliver. One of the worst haircut in Riverview. I really wouldn't recommend this place. Even after checking in online, I waited for one hour. Unlike great clips people who checked in after me by coming to the store went before me for a haircut. I do not see a purpose of online check in. No accountability. I called to make an appointment and when we arrived there was supposedly no appointment made over the phone after waiting 30mins there. Called to get placed in line and they took someone else so another 40mins or waiting when we were supposedly next. Waste of time here. It's a hit or miss with these hair stylists. I have been to this place twice. The first time, was a walk in appointment to get my long, wavy hair cut into a bob for the first time. it was half way down my back, about 20 inches. I barely waited at all, and I talked to a girl named Becky. She was amazing, the conversation flowed well, and I was so happy with my hair afterwards. She gave me layers and I lost about 8 inches, but it looked great. I ended up coming back a second time a few weeks later, because my hair grew back faster than I anticipated. Becky wasn't there, so I saw someone else. It was such a mistake. I asked her to cut the new growth, and my hair slightly shorter (right above my shoulders) so I won't have to come back as quickly. She gave me a COMPLETELY different hair cut and cut off about 4 inches of my hair when I already had a bob. I've been so insecure about it, and I dread going to work this way. My brother's hair is longer than mine, and the cut does not look good at all. Below are pictures of what Becky did, which I loved. And right after that, are pictures from my second visit. I have literally been walking around with a hoodie on, because it looks so bad and a hat doesn't do much to help. It made me so sad. Hair can really make or break a persons confidence. I wish I would've gotten her name. I never write reviews, or complain because I work in customer service. But I am so, so insecure now. Not only was it a completely different cut when I only wanted the growth removed, but it looks so bad. like i let my 5 year old cousin do it.. I am ONLY giving this 2 stars because Becky was amazing. I hate to be a grump ass but I do feel the need to leave a review. I have been here several times with no issues, but today was a different story. I booked online and when I got there I was told "I'm not sure why it booked you, you'll have to wait a bit for so-and-so." I said ok and waited calmly, eventhough a couple walks ins got seated right away; I figured maybe I was waiting for a higher level stylist or something. Finally got seated 30 minutes later and everything was going good. She cut it a little shorter than what we talked about but she seemed to be taking her time and doing a thorough job with the layers. I just needed a trim. Blunt cut, No layers, nothing else. A 12 year old could have done this. My hair was about 20" long, she confirmed a couple times about how much I wanted cut off and I agreed, she was showing me about 2 1/2 inches to cut off. I opted not to have a blow out done and went about my day. She ended up cutting about 6" from the longest point. Fine, not a huge deal, it'll grow. Get home later, straighten my hair to find there are some good size chunks of hair that are 1 1/2 inches longer than the rest of the cut. I have my fiancé trim down these couple of random pieces. Once I finished straightening my hair I let him look at the back and he's like holy crap, the whole thing is off. It's like she tried to do a U shape on the back (which she asked about and I agreed to) but then didn't slope the other side. It's insane. The front of my hair from one side to another is a good inch to two off from each other. The worst part is I get married in 3 weeks and she cut so much off already I'm afraid to have anyone else touch it and end up with hair too short to wear it how I planned.
