What happened to Shannon? She was great, always ready when you had an appointment. Had an appointment, had to wait 20minutes while stylist shampooed a customer, had that customer wait in the next chair, while she did my coloring, made us switch chairs, customer asked me "covering the gray hair?" which was none of her business, stylist did her haircut and styling, while my coloring was still in, checked her out, waited another 10 minutes before she rinsed the color out, still not what I asked her for, asked to go darker but it was lighter than usual. Charged $150 for color package which is suppose to be at least 2 hours but was done in less than an hour. I felt like they just wanted to hurry and get you out. I think she had another appointment waiting in the salon. Not the same since Shannon left. read more

So I went into this location after work and asked for a simple cut she did a 1, fading into a 2. No big deal, I asked for a bead trim just a touch up . This lady had me in the chair for 25 mins and charged me 39$ and she barely took anything off, I asked her to trim around my lip and I get home and there is still long hair. No I know I am dumb for paying 39$ for this type of service which is my fault and I accepted but come on. I am in the service industry and if I would have not done something right it would have been the end of the world. I would have had to fix to the customers satisfaction. I usually give five stars to businesses, but this one I am giving four stars because I walked in yesterday asking for bangs, and I walked out without bangs. My hair still looked good, but it was not what I asked for and I have been contemplating whether or not I should go back and ask them to give me bangs as I originally requested. read more

Walked into an empty store at 4:10 on a Thursday afternoon, and was denied service because they were "all booked up with appointments". Sat outside for 20 minutes to answer emails and write this review, and not a soul walked in. I'd been a customer here for many years, but no longer. I love my stylist BUT if you buy products make sure they ring up your service, you add tip, THEN they ring up product, no tip. They rang mine together. I was diverted and just presented my card and added 20% tip. Instead of $8.00 the tip was $17.00. the hair cut was $34.00, products $48.00 total. My stylist is good but when you pay less tip for the hair cut and more on product....I suggest that you choose other amount or customize choice. It's what I'm doing from now on. I wish my experience here was better. I typically take my children to a different location closer to my home but visited here instead. Why this establishment continues to employ Rose is shocking. While sitting in the waiting room I watched her be rude to three customers in a row. Her overall demeanor was very off putting and completely unprofessional. There was also along conversation help by the employees across the shop about how horrible things were there, how they were missing the supplies they needed and how things were so bad there. I understand not every place of employment is perfect but publicly advertising the general unhappiness to a shop full of customers was inappropriate. I went in the day before and got turned away because they were booked up with appointments. There was only one other customer in the store. They asked if I wanted to make an appointment for the next day so I did. When I showed up for my appointment I was asked to take a seat and wait. I figured okay they were almost done with the person in the chair. It became very apparent that wasn't the case. I had waited for ten minutes after my appointment time (I showed up early for my appointment by the way) and they were discussing how to do the cut and if she wanted her hair washed. Why even set an appointment if you're going to make me wait? I have been going to this location for years and the service has been going down hill and they will no longer get my business. The chick completely botched my hair. 1) she talked to everyone else but me while doing my hair 2) said oops multiple times 3) cut it way shorter than i wanted her to 4) did a completely different hairstyle then what i asked for 5) "i did it higher in the back like my hair was done. We can even it out once it grows out more" I had to point out to her after she was "done" that the back was uneven. She spent 10 more minutes trying to even out the back and didnt show it to me once she said it was done again. Then she blow dried my hair and then put mouse in it to make it look "natural" and so i didnt realize it was uneven (and Youre supposed to put styling mouse in it first before blow drying your hair). Then she charged my mother 23 for the haircut as a shampoo/cut when it was only supposed to be a cut. When i got home and brushed out my hair, i realized it was 3 different lengths in the back and a whole inch longer on my left side. I WISH I could show you pictures with this review. So yeah, this place is terrible... I went in 9 mos ago and a lady cut my hair way too short and uneven I had gone in for a basic pixie....she used clippers which was a disaster... She had cut so much hair off there would have been no fixing it... I called a manager, but she was from another store... she refunded my money and did her best to fix it which basically meant my hair was almost all cut off... She then gave me a certificate to return for another cut once my hair grew enough, she isnt there anymore... so I went in the other day to rederm it... My hair was cut so swiftly ( Guess since it was a certificate so she didn't care)... I asked to trim the back and the ears and just blend it everywhere else... wanted the top to grow out... Mostly the top was left alone but the sides were cut super short and not blended well... now if I go back for a "fix" I am going to be with no hair AGAIN!!! After trying this location several times I have got my haircut by rude barbers that rush through their job leaving me with uneven sideburns, missed neckline hairs and more. Hair cuttery gives a 10% off business card to military but after losing this paper card, I was told I was not eligible for the discount unless I carried the card with me. Despite being able to just check my military ID again and then having run out of these cards, my discount is not applicable. It seems like this location goes through workers quickly on a weekly basis, which tells the consumer the business is poorly run. I will not be returning and this reflects greatly on the Hair Cuttery chain as a whole. read more

Two hours of my life stolen away for a mediocre hair cut. I was quoted a 40 min wait by Ciara (rudely I might add), which I understood because I didn't have an appointment . However, as the minutes ticked by no one bothered to keep the people waiting updated.It wouldn't have been so bad if the staff would have communicate the delay, but nothing was said. Throughout the entire visit I heard how much a persons OCD/anxiety wouldn't let them do thing halfway; how their checks are only $300 per week, how their child are sick with colds/flu, how they don't make any money etc... If you could talk about your life for 2 hours straight stop to inform your paying customers of delays!!!! Yes, I got apologies and excuses on how stylists were out sick,but guess what I DON'T CARE ABOUT YOUR EXCUSES AFTER 2 PLUS HOURS OF WAITING. read more

I have to give one star to do a review. This location has fucked my military husbands fade multiple times. Nicole has literally come out twice to fix three different hair cutters, not even stylists, fuck ups. One broad had the audacity to look at me and try to tell a joke...she's annoying. Short brown hair, and lame customer service, AND we PAID both times! I hope all our payments went straight to Nicole. I highly don't recommend unless Nicole takes care of you. read more

STAY AWAY. They are horrible at what they do and horrible people to put it plainly. My husband went in for a fade. The lady starts cutting his hair, says "these clippers are not made for a fade" proceeds to shave down the sides of his head unevenly BALD to the scalp. It's one thing to mess up on accident, but this lady obviously didn't give a damn about what she was doing. I called to speak to the manager. She was equally as awful. She pretended that she couldn't find my husbands name, info, who did the cut. And then I overheard her tell another employee that I was being childish. To begin with, she wasn't going to wash my hair which is included in the price. If I knew then what I know now, I would have left then .It was the worst, most chopped up mess I've ever had. She left my hair a lot longer on one side than the other, bangs not even and it's way shorter than I wanted. read more

The lady didn't listen to what I told her regarding my son's first haircut. I told her specifically to not cut the top part but she did not listen at all! The cut is so bad that we will never be coming back to this place. Oh I also had to tell her that some parts of her cut was crooked and she had to "fix" them but only made it worse. This is the worst place to get a hair cut EVER. If you are thinking about getting a hair cut here, don't. No matter what style they tell you they always seem to disregard it and do it the way they want to. At first I thought ok ok, maybe it was just a bad day. And continuing to go back all they do is the same thing. I'll tell them not to take too much off because I like it long, and I will emphasize that so much to them so they know. And what do they do?
