My main complaint is the terrible pedicures I've gotten there- one most recently done by a person who normally cuts hair. My nails were filed unevenly (even after I told her she was filing them unevenly as she worked, and that is something I would never normally complain about but it was so obvious) and the polish was bumpy because it was overworked or maybe old. She left me sitting by myself for long periods of time during the pedicure- while she went off, nowhere to be seen. This added unnecessary time to the appointment. I was giving the place another try but will never go back. I do not like throwing my money away on substandard services.

Both the employees (including the owner) and the customers were so friendly and talkative. It was exactly the type of atmosphere a beauty salon should have. I thought my stylist Cara was very friendly, knowledgable and did a fantastic job on my hair. In addition to the treatment, I got my hair cut, bought some product as well as cute blonde clip-in extensions. I thought the pricing was incredibly reasonable, especially compared to salons in Milwaukee. Despite the distance, I have no reservations about stopping out here again to get my hair did.

The entire staff is incredibly friendly and highly skilled. Debbie cut my hair when I was little and she's may be the sweetest woman alive. She did my hair for a wedding and it turned out fantastic. I've been going to Sara more recently and she always does a great job at everything from styling to coloring and perms. Jane, the owner, is also phenomenal at styling and coloring. My mom won't let anyone else touch her hair. They also now have massage services which is a nice touch. Everything is fairly priced at the Scizzory and you get a great value for your money!
