New location for Hair Secret! Sophie is amazing! She's the only one that I allow to touch my hair lol All the staff are friendly. They treat you like family from the moment you walk in. The Japanese straightening treatment is my favorite thing ever. It takes my hair from a hot frizzy mess, to sleek and smooth! Love it so much! It's a long process, but worth it. I have a gang of hair, so I have to dedicate an entire day for the hair treatment. I've also tried the GK hair treatment. That is awesome as well. It deep conditions your hair and makes it feel like silk. The GK treatment also adds this gorgeous shimmer to your hair. Overall, the new salon is cute. Services are up to par. New Owner! I am in love with the results! The owner Sophie totally transformed my hair, with a single haircut and root smudge. I am such an indecisive person, could not decide whether I wanted to go short or long, bang or no bangs. The stylist was very knowledgeable and took her time to make sure that my hair was just right. She also gave me tips on how to style it going forward which is always helpful. The atmosphere of the salon was very comfortable and relaxing too, great for a pampering session! couldn't cut bangs in a straight line and i had to fix them myself at home even after mentioning they were crooked. 70$ for a dry very minimal haircut, no shampoo no styling. showed me like 5 min of some irrelevant instagram profile at the start of my appointment. 94$ total and asked for a refund, she refunded me the bangs but i had to call back and ask again days later. even just scheduling an appointment in the first place was messy. disappointing on how such a simple haircut turned out so poorly and expensive read more

So, where do I start. I feel extremely mistreated. I got canceled on an hour before my appointment for a 49$ haircut. With a 15$ deposit. The owner reschedules me herself for the next day and suggests the same time, 11am. I cancel a dentist appointment so I can make the time she suggested. I get there the next morning and wait an hour for her to not show up and then I leave, asking for a refund. She offers me a 50$ gift card off my cut, and says she just showed up, "its her boyfriend's birthday and day off, she came in just for me" so I go back thinking she wanted to make things right. Halfway through the cut she goes "oh yeah that gift card is to help cus IM really expensive. I get charged an insane 115$ for the cut. Thats AFTER the 50$ off. Long story short, don't go here. The owner is unprofessional, blames her employees for her shortcomings, is manipulative and upcharges. I should also mention, I payed 115$ at the shop and my online bill showed I payed them 130$. I mentioned this to the owner and got ignored. I just wanted to treat myself to a little haircut and feel good after a crappy year and left feeling Even more terrible. The haircut was pretty good, but not 185$ good. Especially for two days of my time. Im just sad. read more

I needed a haircut so bad! My hair was damaged, brittle and splitting everywhere. I was lucky enough to get an appointment that same day with Heidi and I had a great experience! I knew I wanted to cut a significant amount without having my hair cut too short and Heidi was very knowledgeable and helped me throughout my appointment. We talked about possible causes as to why my hair may have been progressing in damage and she told me what ingredients/products to stay away from and which I should consider due to my hair type. I must say, the staff is extremely friendly and outgoing and you will definitely have a great time while getting you hair cut, color or styled. I walked in for a haircut due to me coming to this salon for a couple of years. When walking in, I noticed it was different and found out, the previous owner had sold the salon. I chose to give the new salon a try but NEVER thought that a trim and blow dry would cost me $150. I was definitely mislead into coming in. I had previously went to the upland location where I got extensions done and was quoted $75 an hour with a $100 deposit. I took my extensions in and same day they were prepped and installed , walked out of there only paying $175 which included the deposit. So because I was happy with that experience I decided to try them again. This time I need a trim and a reinstall of my extensions. Called to make appt and was told my total would be $220. I made the appt and sent $100 deposit. I get my services done and was charged $249 not including the $100 deposit. When I told Sophie she gave me a breakdown of the chargers. I told her this should have been told to me when I made the appt. I wouldn't have agreed to come in and pay almost $400. Nothing was said that it would be more then that or that she charges $100plus per hour. Which it's fine if that's what they charge but they need to be upfront about the prices. So please beware. I will not becoming back only due to not being told about the correct prices. Felt very misleading. read more
