Here's my experience and what I found out: I decided to bite the bullet and try these guys out instead of going all the way to Reno. This is my first time using a tanning salon, so I know nothing, just like Jon Snow, which was actually the color of my skin as well. I went to Sun Spot on my lunch fully expecting to be met with an employee with an attitude, however, I was not! The front desk associate was super nice and really helpful! I told her this was my first time coming in and I had no idea what I was doing. She totally understood and gave me some recommendations on how to start so I wouldn't get burned. I purchased a 12 pack of low pressure tans (which I have recently upgraded most to high pressure, pay attention to their deals, they're really good when they come up!) and some tanning lotion. They even have a cabinet you can store your tanning lotion in (they put your name on it) which is cool because I always leave mine in my truck and cringe every time I put it on because you know...winter and stuff. I've seen pictures of the place in other yelp reviews from years ago and they make it look like a swap meet tanning salon; I thought I may be able to purchase a straw hat and bootleg DVD's, but no, the salon is actually under new ownership and this team is doing it right! They're fixing up the place, starting red light therapy (if you've never used red lights, you're missing out - you just have to stay consistent), and seem to be truly dedicated to customer experience and satisfaction. I'd say if you had a bad experience in the past couple years, give them another shot. Sun Spot is...the Spot! Also, for the first time in my life, I'm tan...and it's February. It's gonna be an epic summer!

They will come to you and do all services on-site so you don't have to worry about travel time! Erin and Heidi were precise in their work and even finished ahead of schedule which was greatly appreciated! Makeup was fantastic, and even accommodated monolids and mature looks. Our looks lasted through the end of the night with barely a hairpin out of place! It was a pleasure working with Erin! She was flexible during Covid (I had to change my date and venue) and easy to communicate with. Would definitely hire again!
