Disappointing...Alpher Ismail blocked me on Instagram after I called him out for his MISLEADING…read morepersonal advertisement that he had posted on Instagram. His AD stated that Balayages are $245. I DM'd because that intrigued me as a potential customer as it's more on the affordable end compared to some salons I've gone to in the past. When Dm'ing , I was showing a bunch of different balayage inspo images I was gravitating towards along with the current state of my hair as he requested which is totally normal but then... Alpher said "...the balayage, color, and toner will be $645". Why is your ad saying it's $245 and now it's gone up $400 for what a Balayage process already should include? A balayage process is literally bleaching, color/toner, foils, etc.. why is he stating that the style itself is like a separate thing of $245 & then the color/bleach and toner would somehow be $400 leading to a grand total of $645? I called him out saying that his ad is misleading and if there are additional fees, to state it in the AD because a $400 jump is actually almost scamming customers who think they're spending HALF of what he jumped it to... Not here to ruin his business because I think he is great at his work but I am pretty shocked at how this "professional of 20 years" responded by blocking me rather than explaining why it would jump to that price out of nowhere and not correcting his AD. Misleading to grab customers tbh.. Please do better. Trust is built with existing and potential clients.

He didn't explain why and I am not sure why there is an appointment system if he wasn't there. I show him a picture of the style I want and he suggested me to get a perm. I explained I don't like perm but he kept asking me to get one before and after the cut. I understood my hair is hard and straight so a perm would make it easier to style, but I would have appreciated him suggesting another hairstyle instead of kept asking me for a perm. The haircut process was very nice though. Alan was very meticulous and it came out pretty nice. It took about another hour for the cut itself. Overall, I think the haircut is good and reasonably priced, but spending 1.5 hour for a simple cut is a bit too long. Maybe it's an exception this time. I would give it another try if I am in the area.

Located in a very prime location in downtown Millbrae, the salon is gorgeous inside! Very modern and clean. I got to my appointment early but was quickly attended to check in. Vee asked if I needed a hair wash which I told him that I already washed the night before. He said because my hair was very dry, he would give me a hair wash. It was so relaxing and he did an amazing job washing and conditioning my hair. Next up was blow-drying and he took a lot of time to not only dry it but used a barrel brush to style it and straighten it after. He was very meticulous! I showed him pictures of my hair inspiration and he said he could do the medium layer cut. I was so impressed with the outcome, it was a wonderful experience and can't wait to come back!

leo and min are amazing!!! they're experts. they got me color corrected to a super pastel pink…read morecolor. i honestly didn't think my hair goal of getting to really light pink would be possible w my hair that had like 4 different shades in it and years of doing my own hair at home with red dye i've been doing since i was 18 (im 22 now). i spent 7.5 hours with them and they did an incredible color correction on me and i can't believe how amazing my hair looks. it feels even healthier than it was when i came in which is so shocking because we had to bleach my hair twice to correct the color! i had red dye and they were able to make it so light and so platinum. they brought me snacks and they were so attentive. another salon i went to for a consultation said they'd have to cut 5" off my hair but leo only trimmed a little and kept a lot of my length. my hair feels sooo soft and healthy!! i'm amazed min was so gentle and sweet. i almost fell asleep when she was shampooing my hair. the salon is super clean! L2 has very fair prices especially for 7.5 hours of work and leo gave me tips to maintain the pastel pink. i couldn't be happier and i would absolutely recommend leo and min to anyone!! i will definitely will be a returning client!
