I went in for a clean up and a blow-dry I walked out super disappointed. Hair was messy at best. Not a true blowout. Chelsea did my haircut and style. I would not recommend based on my experience. I went here because they are one of the few to accept walk-ins. I was greeted by the owner who was pretty nice and said I could get a hair cut by her. Instead though, some other lady came up and said she'd cut my hair. I said shorter with layers. First of all. She did not add layers. All one length and my hair felt disgusting when I left. I had to immediately take a shower because whatever product she put in made my hair SO greasy. I was kinda iffy about how they didn't wash my hair before cutting it. Instead she misted it and cut some of it dry.... which would explain what I discovered a few days after getting my hair cut! I usually air dry my hair since it's so curly. However for work, I decided on Monday (got it cut Friday), that I would straighten it. To my horror I found that it was unevenly cut! I mean seriously? She didn't double check to make sure it was all even?? I had to legit cut my own hair because it was too late to go somewhere to get it fixed. I am beyond disappointed. Find a better place. She didn't even give me layers, cut my hair way too short, and chopped it up unevenly. I'm embarrassed to even walk outside with this haircut. :(. read more

This off-the-wall little place is darling. My mom started going here to get her hair cut in 1994 when we moved to Arizona and I have been going back to get "something or other" done ever since. They have outstanding customer service, after just one visit they will know who you are when you call, and you can't beat the prices. The staff is VERY VERY professional and they have virtually no turnover. The owner, the nail tech, and the woman who does my brows have all been there for a long, long time. 16 years to be exact - if not more! My new haircut place! I love the haircut I received from Nina. My hair is 10x healthier without the split ends, and she still managed to maintain my goal of wanting to grow out my hair by cutting off the bare minimum. She was nice, took me right away, and didn't judge me at all over the damage of my hair (which is a real issue at a lot of places). She understood what I wanted, and was speedy and accurate. If i could give 0 stars, i would!!! I normally go to the same lady for my hair services but she was unavailable so i decided to try this place. DO NOT GO HERE!!!! She was absent minded during the whole thing, paying more attention to the phone ringing and the other people in the store than to the hair she was butchering. I asked for a clean up of dead ends and a trim of the bangs... she didn't so much as speak to me during... at the end i mentioned to her how disconnected everything looked... she did nothing. She cut my hair dry, without straightening it first (mind you it had kinks everywhere from being up all day). Literally EVERYTHING was uneven. Complete hack job. So i booked with my normal girl..... 2 inches later and my hair completely thinned out due to any attempt to make it look even remotely ok.... I'm ok. But i called back to ask for a refund and i get A "welllll we don't normally do that..." and as i explain that i usually don't ask for one, she hung up on me!!!! I'm baffled. Completely shocked. Oh and, my hair still had dead ends as of this morning before i got it fixed. Don't go here. You're better off going to great clips... or a homeless shelter actually. read more

Absolutely worst place to get any service done here. I stopped in for a cut, color, and manicure because of the special they were running. The owner (and only hairstylist who works at this salon) is a complete bitch. After rushing through my color, (thanks for the highlights that were an inch away from my scalp. Gotta love instant regrowth) she proceeded to cut my hair in literally six minutes. The back of my hair was uneven and had a hole cut into it. The layers did not match on either side and my face framing was uneven. When I pointed this out she told me it was because my hair was thicker on one side and I would need to deal with it. I should also mention that my highlights were a nice shade of yellow. She left the lightener on for 15 minutes before washing it out and telling me it looked great. It seems like she wants you in and out with little care about your actual hair. I had to have several inches cut off the back to fix the haircut. I had to have the highlights redone and now have more damaged than I wanted. The manicure and pedicure were ok. The gel polish did not last as long as promised, and started to chip within three days. I was unimpressed with the manicurist. She spent a lot of time answering her phone and criticizing previous clients. Bottom line- this "salon" is less salon and more chop shop. The owner is very money hungry and has little regards for what you actually want. I've had better haircuts from beauty school students than this stylist. She is woefully under-talented as a hairstylist. I probably could have cut my own with better results. Stay far far away. read more

Just happened to be in the area and had some time to kill before I had to go pick some one up. In the plaza I saw US Haircutters and though great, I can go and get a quick haircut. The sign clearly said walk ins welcome!! I walked in at 4:30 they close at 7. When I walked in there was no one there and the lady working asked if I had called in, I said no and she very rudely responded, " I don't have room for anything else today."
