Very clean, beautiful inside. I wasn't going to post this but I am still upset 2 weeks later. It ruined how I felt on my 9yr anniversary. I got my hair done two weeks ago. I hate my natural dirty blonde hair (my hubby isn't too excited about it either) I like being bright and very blonde so I finally was going to fix it so I could feel pretty and sexy on my 9 year anniversary. Went in. Everything was amazing ladies all nice, place clean....no other complaints except the outcome. I spent $220 plus $25 tip for my hair to look the same after I showered The lady who did my hair didn't want to fix it so she refunded me half plus tip to get it fixed elsewhere. So i got $133 of that (venmo deducts a lil) and then I was stuck trying to find another appt. Soonest I got with a new place was next week ...my anniversary was the first. It has already been ruined. I've never had dye just come out of my hair. So I basically paid $110 for a trim very disappointing. It's never happened before. Just be cautious. read more

I did like it here at first, until I got my hair bleached. Never had a problem with bleach before, and have since gone to a salon and had bleach put on my scalp and nothing. But when I was here, I got what the doctor said looked like a chemical burn despite it not being on very long. I also felt doubted about the fact that this was a really unique situation for me, which put me off coming back. The lady in there with me also had to get rinsed promptly because she said the bleach was burning her scalp. Her stylist said she was sensitive, but she replied that she had been bleaching plenty before. Something is / was up with their formula they use for lightening, either that day or in general. I paid $600 for a color correction only to leave with my hair looking like a disaster because of this issue. There were also some other problems but none as important as this read more

HAIRapy came through for me when I was feeling super depressed about the status of my pandemic hair. I hadn't gotten a haircut in over 1.5 years, and everyone I worked with a HAIRapy (from my stylist, Shareen, to the woman who answered my call at the front desk) were amazing! I called HAIRapy to inquire about the different stylists at the salon. I know everyone's hair is different, but finding a stylist who is comfortable and has experience with curly hair is actually really difficult--those who say they have experience probably do, but curly hair is strange to work with since it is always curling differently. So because I knew I needed to cut a significant amount off, I also wanted to make sure I had someone who knew the ropes of cutting curly hair and how to deal with hair that really (forgive the pun) needed HAIRAPY. I left a message on their machine with my name and what I was looking for, and they called back the same day to discuss my options. They mentioned they had a stylist named Shareen, who has curly hair and has a lot of experience working with curly hair--I was sold! They gave my her number and I booked my date with Shareen directly, cutting out the possibility of there being any miscommunication with what I wanted: a simple trim for curly hair that may be a really significant cut! It was super easy to work with Shareen--she gave me a few times that week, but unfortunately with a work schedule all over the place, I couldn't do that same week--but I got a time for the following week that was super convenient for my schedule! She was super understanding, and I warned her that my hair needed some serious help. Throughout the whole process, I never felt anything but love and support in the salon! They have coffee and water that they offer you to make your experience great, and I loved speaking with Shareen about her experiences in the different places that she's lived. She is super personable and really knows what she's talking about with hair products, cuts, strategies, or anything! I'm really sad that I found Shareen only a few months before I am moving from Riverside, but I'm looking forward to scheduling another cut and color with her before I go! I called to see if they have any available same-day appointment and the lady on the phone was very friendly. She was able to book me for the afternoon. I was immediately greeted with a warm smile by the lady at the reception. Since I was early, she took me to the waiting bench and said that the snacks and drinks right next to it are available for customers. Just got my hair done by Jennifer and I absolutely loved it! This was my first time adding color to my hair so I told her I wanted something subtle since I was scared for a drastic change. She definitely delivered! She instantly made me feel at ease and confident that I was in good hands. Plus she's super sweet! Also, I just want to add trying to book my appointment all the girls I communicated with were super friendly and helpful! Angela (owner) has been doing my entire families hair for years! She does my mom, sister, myself, my 7 almost 8 year old brother, and now my husband. We just LOVE her! Obviously Angela was going to do my wedding hair! When it got closer to the wedding I suddenly had no place to get ready. My wedding was a Sunday (10/7/18) and we had to get ready SUPER early. Angela was thrilled when we decided I'd get ready at her new salon! It was great! I have THICK long hair. I've never fully dyed it, I did the ombré thing for a while but really wanted it gone before the wedding. Angela knew exactly how to make it less apparent without cutting it all out or harming my hair. I was also very worried about my curls not holding up the entire day but Angela put some layers in my hair to help with texture and weight. My curls held through the next day! My old stylist closed her shop so I'd been on the hunt for a new stylist. I'd tried one or two in the area and they were just "meh". This place came highly recommended by several people in my neighborhood. I contacted the owner and told her my needs for a typical cut/style and she referred me to a specific stylist, Jenn. I just had my first cut and style with her today and I LOVE it. She was very attentive and listened to what I wanted with my hair. I like layers but prefer more chunky layers and she did them perfectly. The mask she put in my hair during the wash was so nice too. As a mom to two young boys and another on the way, getting my hair done is a real treat for me so the spa like feeling was nice! The salon itself is super cute! It is really busy but everyone is so friendly and I really loved the vibe. Everything down to the decor and lighting was nice. If I HAD to pick on something I'd say it would be nice to have a more designated waiting area. But honestly it didn't bother me one bit. And I did hear a few employees discussing their plans for this while I was there so they're already ahead of the game! They also have drinks and snacks available which you never see anymore! Just a heads up, parking lot is pretty sparce! But there is street parking and Jenn said the dentist next door doesnt mind people parking there either. I have been going to, Jennifer, for a few years, so when she moved to HAIRapy, of course I followed her there. This salon is so cute and modern! They have complimentary water and snacks. They even have mugs and cups for purchase with their name on them. As I said, I have been going to Jennifer for years. She is a Kevin Murphy educator (which this salon carries, and sells, yay!) and she is very knowledgeable about every product. I always ask a million questions while I am getting my hair done about the different products, and she is always so patient with me, entertaining my questions, and answering them in full detail. During this particular session I have been in the process of going from very dark brown, to a much lighter blonde. Jennifer was very upfront about this and told me that it would be a process and it would take multiple sessions to get my hair to be the shade I was looking for.
