She listens to you, she is a perfectionist, she is thorough and she's just the best at what she does. I went in there with a ombre/balayage. It was growing out and looking a little brassy. I asked for a cut that would fit my lifestyle: mom, no time in the morning to get ready and easy to style. I also asked for a balayage that would look natural and grow out to look naturally too. I don't have time to go to the salon every 2-3 months like my younger days. Sarah gave me the most beautiful color. When you go close up to my hair, the colors blend together like boyz 2 men singing a harmony. It was insane! The person who did my balayage before, did a good job, but Sarah did a perfect job. She gave me a cut that compliment my face and lifestyle. I walked out of the salon that day feeling like a million bucks. Not to mention I got stopped so many times by people, telling me how they love my hair and that I looked like a famous person (but thats another story). Talk didn't seem force, it flowed naturally. She's funny and extremely friendly. I would recommend her. I already told my friends to go see her. Her prices are reasonable. I just love her!!! She's honestly the best colorist out there. Every other stylist I had seen before her had bleached my hair before dying it. They all said it was impossible to lighten my jet black hair without bleaching it but then I was left with a coppery color that would eventually fade to an even blonder hue. This was not the case with Desiree, she did not bleach my hair, and the color never faded. It didn't fade after constant washing, after visits to the pool or weekends at the beach. My hair remained a beautiful shade of brown that was everything I had dreamt of. From then, we went to an auburn hue, then she gave me long layers and bangs, we went drastic the next year and chopped 13 inches off, then 2 more inches a couple of months later, then we went for side swept bangs and her signature blowout, and we recently did some balayage to my lob. I followed her from her old spot in Champlin and I drive from Elk River to see her. She's the best.
