I'm no hair extension expert but the owner eased my nerves by helping me pick the right hair type to bend with my own natural hair. I was able to send her pictures of my natural hair and she was able to recommend the best hair type for me which was their Peruvian Body wave or Peruvian Deep Wave. I ended up going with her recommendation of the Peruvian Body Wave which was spot on with bending in with my own natural hair when it is pressed and styled. Additionally, the hair was top quality, smooth, and odor free. I didn't have time to wash it as recommended because I was on a tight schedule but the hair was installed successfully with no tangles or frizz and curled just fine with no issues or chemical smells. Another great thing about Hairlivery is that they were able to take my hair order and deliver it the same day even though I called last minute, the owner was able to work her magic and get me the hair delivered at the shop just in time to get my extensions installed. The delivery man was really nice. Not only is the convenience of delivery hair fantastic for anyone living in LA, but the quality has been consistent since my first experience. I am going to order more this week, and I realized I owed them an updated review based on my ongoing impression of their quality (I STILL have my old bundles and they look great!) Below is my initial review, and it still stands: I've been weaving it up and buying premium human hair for over a decade now, and I think I may only shop with Hairlivery from now on. A few weeks ago, after making a quick call, I was greeted with a friendly text message and corresponded with them for over an hour about what I wanted in hair. Clearly, they care about their customers. They were extremely helpful, even giving me feedback from my photo, despite me not even buying hair then and there. Flash forward to yesterday, the experience was so delightful, I went ahead and arranged a delivery, and within 30 minutes the delivery arrived in a beautiful black gift bag lines with violet tissue paper. The lady I had been corresponding with delivered the hair, and was extremely friendly and allowed me (and a coworker!) to examine the hair before I handed over money. This hair is as good as you will get, and Hairlivery is transparent about what quality you are getting (you can choose to spend less and get hair in a different condition than premium virgin double drawn, or sometimes price is reflective of the market rate of the country of origin). Real unprocessed human hair SHOULD have split ends, and perhaps a grey hair or two. If it looks too good to be true, it is: the cuticle is often sealed down with a treatment to temporarily make the hair look super healthy, and the reality gets revealed as it wears off as you wear it, or in some cases it's not actually human hair at all. You will only get pure human hair in it's authentic state with Hairlivery, and the wefts are beautifully sewn. Though you can't beat the customer service (what other hair shop can you essentially get help from any time you want via text with no pressure to buy right then and there?!), the real thing that sets Hairlivery part, is that unlike storefront shops, the price is entirely reflective of the hair quality rather than the overhead of Los Angeles rental prices. I'll admit, I've felt hair this great before, but it was about 400$ - 600$ for a full head or 3 bundles. Hairlivery is 250$. I prefer standard weft hair as I like braid and sew extensions (I'm a curly haired Italian and my natural hair is a chore to heat style), but they also have microloop, keratin, tape in, clip in, and beautiful lace closure pieces if you do a full head. I will update my review once I install my hair in January with photos, but I'm already so happy I chose Hairlivery and I will certainly be using them in the future. read more

First I want to start off by saying that I want to give this place 5 stars for customer service but because of the horrible experience I had with the actual hair, I'm going to give them two stars. I purchased the deep wave hair and at first I was happy after my stylist installed it. I was excited to go on vacation with it (I had four trips planned in a span of two months). I followed the directions given to me perfectly and I also had a habit of brushing my hair everyday because my natural hair is curly so I know how to care for curly hair. I noticed the hair tangled super easily but, like I said, I brushed my hair out everyday. Then I went swimming after a month of having the hair, and everything went to hell. The back of my hair literally turned into a ball of tangles. It literally took my sisters (my heroes) 7 hours to untangle my hair and I lost about two bundles of hair in the process. The company sent me a free bundle after I sent an email about it. Now after two days with having only one bundle of hair installed, I went to my stylist with the bundle I got from the company. She didn't even want to put the hair in because she said the hair itself was bad. I had to convince her because I still had three trips planned and I am pretty vain haha. So now it's been almost a month after she installed that bundle and I must say I'm still not happy. I usually have my hair braided, in a bun, or pineappled because if I have it down, it tangles so bad that I'm brushing my hair out for half an hour and I lose a chunk of hair in the process. It's my own fault of course. But because I already dumped 350 that I wanted for long lasting hair on this hair, I have to save back up to dump 450 on hair I know will last. I won't be ordering from here again which is unfortunate because I really do appreciate the customer service. Best hair I've ever put on my head. Hands down. I purchased two 14" PERUVIAN BODY WAVE in April ahead of a trip to Europe that my husband and I had planned. I chose the Peruvian after extensive research on what hair most closely resembles black, pressed/flat-ironed hair. I do not relax my hair so I didn't want a relaxed hair look. Several months ago I started looking online for companies that sell Brazilian curly hair in Los Angeles. Previously I had only bought relaxed textured hair from Extensions Plus. I wanted a curly fun look for my upcoming vacation to the the Dominican Republic and possibly a new look for the summer, so that is why I was on a curly hair mission. I saw the curly hair that extensions plus had and it was not the curl pattern that I wanted and extension plus told me they could custom make the curly hair I wanted but it was going to be extremely pricy like at least a thousand dollars! So that is the long version of why I was looking online for another company to purchase virgin curly hair from..... I read several yelp reviews on hairlivery and figured I would at least try them once to see if they actually had quality hair. Let me tell you.....from the first phone call I made and spoke with Marcus to the actual day that he brought hair for me to look at in the salon where I get my hair done it was an amazing customer service experience! Marcus even suggested I let him show me the hair in person and then decide if I wanted to buy (which I always do anyway) :-) but it was refreshing to have a company not try to pressure you to buy hair before you have had the chance to evaluate the quality! The quality was amazing! I bought 3 bundles of the brazilian curly in two 18 inches bundle and one 22 inch. I ended up having my stylist cut it to a shoulder length but I like to have too much hair rather than not enough in regards to length. You can always cut it. THIS HAIR IS AMAZING IN QUALITY! There is minimal shedding Barely even any tangles This is quality hair! You don't even really have to put in too many styling products like you would with a cheaper grade of hair. The curl patterns are gorgeous! The most important test was how the hair did on my vacation where I was in salt water and sun for over a week! The hair continued to beautiful. It did not dry out or became tangled or matted! It has a low enough luster that it blended beautifully with my leave out and my own hair is relaxed. I put in perm rods to blend normally but on vacation all I did once my hair got wet was spray the john frieda dream curls on my brazilian curly hair and on my leave out (I do not have naturally curly hair) and it blended beautiful with a slight wave pattern on my leave out due to the product I added which blended beautifully. I have received comments almost everyday on this hair! This company's hair is amazing!!!!!!!! They have a new faithful customer in myself. I pride myself on quality human hair purchases and Hairlivery delivers on quality! Not to mention of you are in the LA metro area they deliver! But even if you do not live local they ship it to you! In a time when stellar customer service seems to be a lost art, Hairlivery is creating a new standard! Before today, I didn't know that having your hair delivered was even a possibility. I found Hairlivery on Instragram last night and decided to give them a call today. The skeptic in me wasn't expecting much but I was blown away by Marcus. He was so patient as I asked a lot of questions about the different types of hair they offer (I'm a novice when it comes to extensions). Based on what I told him my preference was in terms of look and feel, he narrowed it down to Indian and Brazilian. He offered to have his colleague come to me so I could see and feel the hair BEFORE I purchased it.
