I purchased three deep wave bundles (22, 24, and 26 inches) from Hair By KitKat in Inglewood about a week ago. According to the website, the store opens at 12 PM, so I waited roughly 10-15 minutes before a young lady arrived to open the store. This was my first time purchasing from this business. I had heard and read many great reviews about the quality of the hair, so I decided to give it a try despite the delayed opening. After my hairstylist installed the bundles, I noticed that the longest length is constantly matting in the back. I've also experienced significant shedding and tangling with this hair, which has been very disappointing. Rarely have I got a bad bundle and I've been going to her for 10 years. my only recommendation is you might not wanna call about your bundles first just fill up in there and get them because yeah they sell out quickly. read more

I was very disappointed this time around. This is the second time I purchased hair from KitKat and the first time the hair was amazing, lasted long time and minimal shedding. I just purchased some new hair (2 bundles 24 inch straight) about 2 weeks ago and the hair is already shedding. I drove from near Bellflower to go to the store on Crenshaw to purchase the hair. Honestly the hair is pricey, but I always thought it was worth it until this last purchase. Very disappointing. Also, theI customer service was a bit of a mess... the Bellflower store no one answered the phone during business hours, which led me to go to the Crenshaw store. When i arrive at the store they only take cash and some other form of payment. I really hope that the quality of hair gets better or maybe the hair I purchased was no good...either way for the long drive and high prices...the quality should be better. I wanted to give 5 stars, but the only thing missing is customer service. The girls hired, have no experience dealing with customers at all. They don't properly greet you no smile no thank you or nothing. They all are very rude. They must be really be close to the owner to treat the customers the way they do. For the amount of money spent no one deserves that kind of service. If the owner only knew half of what I deal with when I go into the store those girls would have been fired. Placed order online only not to receive. Very bad customer service, when I called about it the worker at the store said she doesn't deal with that , I would basically have to hunt down KitKat myself. So I seen all the reviews and I was nervous about going down to KitKats. I listened to my sister and I am so glad I did. So today 9/12/2022 at 2:30pm I got down to KitKats and the young girl that was working their made me feel like family she welcomed me and assisted me better than any hair store and beauty supply I ever been to. And she even gave me the hook up on her folkes Merra to get it done properly. Not to mention the hair she assisted me to was so silky and pretty and smelled so fresh. I actually bought the last 3 bundles in the 16in. And it must have been my lucky day because the number I zelle the owner and I shared the same first name. Now this is true red carpet treatment for a chick like me who has returned home after 19 years and 10 months of being wrongfully convicted. @KitKat, Merra, and your crew continue to do what you do you are a beautiful example of Successful Black Women. So every single time I come here the same girl is here and she is rude ass hell. No joke , I called the day before to ask if they had the hair I needed and before I finished asking questions she hung up the phone in my face. So today I walk in and ask her if she was here yesterday, she said yes, I'm like you were here all day yesterday, she said yes. I told her she was rude as hell yesterday and she says "O"! I I ask for my hair and I am ready to pay she then says I only except cash and zelle... coo so I'm short $1.35 and I say I'll zelle you the rest, before I can even log into my account she calls the manager and ask did you get a zelle for $1.35, I'm like hold up first off I did not even zelle you yet so calm the hell down, she then says I'm talking about another customer ... I'm like really come on now. she still has a god damn attitude for no damn reason, I am retty sure the owner doesn't care because a couple of people that I have sent here has said the same thing and still no change. That girl has issues seriously, it's very unprofessional period! I did absolutely nothing to that girl except tell her that attitude was unnecessary especially when I am spending $360 and constantly send people here.
