I brought in a picture with me and showed Debbie and asked her if she thought she could cut my hair this way. Debbie assured me that she could she had been cutting hair for 38 years and she's so good at cutting hair. After Debbie got done cutting my hair I looked in the mirror and was crying because my hair looked nothing like the picture of the style of haircut that I was assured that I would get. I pay the lady and quickly left. All the way home I cried I thought my hair was ruined for the holidays. When I got home I contacted an employee through Facebook messenger. She assured me that the cut wasn't as bad as I thought that it was. She asked me to send a photo of my hair and of the style that I had wanted. She then written me back stating that Debbie must have misjudged cutting my hair. It didn't even look anything close to the picture of the style that I had showed Debbie. After crying myself to sleep all night I woke up the next day I looked into the mirror and I still hated my hair. I decided to call and talk to Debbie the owner of the shop the person who cut my hair. I expressed to her that I didn't like my haircut that it did not look anything like the picture that I showed her. I told her my hair is ruined for Christmas and I really needed to try and get my hair fixed. Debbie then replied well I've been cutting hair for 38 years and I'm sorry you don't like your cut. She never offered to try to make things right she never offered to try to fix my hair. I've been crying for two days I decided that the only way to fix my hair was to shave it because to me it was that bad. I then posted on social media about the horrific haircut that I had received at Debbie's design and beauty Kentucky. I then got messages from Debbie's daughter Kristen threatening me telling me that she was going to get an attorney and sue me for slandering their business. I replied to the lady Kristen explained to her that I could sue her for emotional distress and to please stop contacting me or I would have to take my phone and messages to the police station and report her. I would think twice before going here .

Stacey was able to make an appointment the next day; I had to reschedule it a few days later but she was super accommodating and chill about it. Awesome. After navigating the one-way streets to find the parking lot (note: enter the lot from Jefferson street), I found the cool house that housed the salon. I walked in and only waited a few moments before Stacey was ready for my appointment. Honestly, I have been wanting to cut and dye my hair for a couple months, but choose just to get it cut for now due to my tight budget. Stacey let me do what I want but also offered feedback/opinion when asked. I decided to cut most of my long hair off into a medium/long angled bob. An hour later, my hair was washed, cut, dried, and styled. It looked great! It wasn't the exact cut in the photo I used as an example (because the photo had different color/hairstyle), but we all know that no one gets the exact cut as a photo. I was still happy with it. And $40 was affordable enough for me for a good haircut (no more GreatClips)! A few days later, I sort of regretted cutting off as much hair as I did (it took a few years to grow it long), but that's just my own fault. Hair grows. So it's all good. And next time I'll get my hair dyed. I also loved that Artique had some friendly, chill ladies working there, with a nonjudgmental atmosphere. Definitely mind kind of vibe. I'm thrilled to have found this place. Artique is my new go-to for hair!

    I have been a client of Cha Cha's for over a year and have consistently had excellent experiences…read morewith my own stylist, which makes this situation even more disappointing. I scheduled an appointment for my daughter and specifically called the salon in advance to explain that she has very thick hair and would likely need additional appointment time. Despite that conversation, the appointment was not scheduled for enough time to complete the requested services. As a result, the stylist ran out of time, my daughter did not receive the haircut that was scheduled, and we left with highlights that were not completed to the standard we expected. What has been most frustrating has been the effort required to get the issue addressed. I contacted the salon hoping to simply have the services corrected. Instead, I spent several hours over multiple conversations trying to resolve the situation. While I understand the need to gather information, the process felt unnecessarily difficult and was met with repeated explanations rather than clear solutions. I never requested a refund--only an opportunity to have the haircut completed and the highlighting corrected. Unfortunately, after investing significant time trying to work through the issue, I still do not feel that a reasonable resolution has been reached. Based on my experience, Cha Cha's provides excellent service when everything goes as planned. However, if a problem does arise, my experience suggests that resolving it may be far more challenging than it should be. Update: To be clear, I was coordinating the conversation because McKenna was placed under my account by your staff. I was not refusing to let you speak with her. The current process of calling in, then waiting for texts or return calls later in the day, does not work well with her schedule and has made it very difficult to get this resolved in a straightforward way. Based on the photos, I am not sure what additional information is needed. The service was not completed as expected, and the highlights were not well done. Yes, McKenna would like the issue corrected. At this point, I would appreciate a direct call so we can discuss the next step and get this resolved.
