The cool thing is that she not only takes her time with me but does so with all of her clients. I've seen her take her time asking questions in order to have authentic conversations, which in turn generates the best salon experience for anyone in her chair. Because of the time she takes, the end result often times is even better than what we imagined we wanted to look like. She is able to take everyone's inner and unique beauty and let is thrive on the outside. I've heard her say on multiple occasion, to anyone who says thank you, "well I had a good canvas to work with!" And that's just it, Julie doesn't look at her profession as the work of a stylist. She considers herself an artist! And her art is us. It's because of her creativity and inner drive that each visit with her somehow stands out from the time before. Each and every time. I have gotten my hair cut and colored 3 times with Amber at Hairology. Amber does a great job at creating the hair color design that you request while making sure your hair does not get damaged. She's always up to date on the latest trends so it's easy for me to go to her and describe the hair style I want. The hair dye and products that they use are high quality and leave your hair feeling shiny and new. I also enjoy the environment and the people. All three times I've gone I've had to stay for a couple hours but did not mind at all since it's a laid back, clean and friendly environment. There is even water and snacks available to you since they understand getting your hair dyed can take a while. I would definitely recommend coming here to get your hair done! read more

I was referred to Julie by a friend. I had gone to a family friend for years prior and I struggled finding someone I trusted. I had always been told by various stylists that I didn't take care of my hair well enough to dye it or do anything much with it, but Julie worked miracles! She's super supportive and knowledgeable and won't suggest anything she doesn't believe in or thinks will make you look stupid (she'll tell you that's terrible advertising on her part). Anytime I ask Julie for new suggestions she proves she knows her job. The ladies at the salon are super friendly and not at all pushy or annoying. These people are amazing. I have never been disappointed with my manicures and pedicures from Amber, and it's a fantastic way to relax ladies! Then I tried Amber out for my hair. I have only been to this salon twice but always feel welcome and at home. It is a beautiful salon and I love the decor. Although I have only been to this salon twice, I have been going to Nicole for years and would highly recommend her.
