She was super sweet to me, took the time to look at my hair and the picture I brought and listened to what I had to say. I got this really cute asymmetrical cut and though we both agreed it wouldn't turn out like the picture Megan really took what I had to say and created the cutest cut. When I learned that there are people who know how to cut curly hair, I looked for someone in this field and found someone in my area. I was incredibly fortunate that I found Christina, who somehow sees my mess of hair as a potential cascade of curls. She really sees my hair in its best light - before it's cut!!! Now, I just wet my hair and I see ringlets everywhere. I never got a haircut that lets my hair's natural curl easily do its thing! There is no setting a style - she cuts it in a way that my hair can just be, and I appreciate the curls. Beyond enjoying that relaxing, soothing head massage/shampoo/conditioner session in the spa-like room, and getting excellent haircuts, I love the casual talk and easy laughs. I consistently have a good time there and leave feeling great. Even my husband, who hasn't let anyone touch his long hair in years, noticed that, so he sits in Christina's chair every few months! At my most recent appointment, I had a very uncomfortable experience. After being seated, I was addressed in front of others about a comment that my hair is "never right" and that my stylist may not be the right fit for me. This was not what I intended, and it felt embarrassing to have that conversation publicly while already in the chair. There have been times where I've needed minor adjustments after seeing the final color fully styled, which have always been addressed and corrected without issue. I continued to return because I was generally happy with the end result. I completely understand that concerns about adjustments may need to be discussed, and I respect that not every client/stylist relationship is the right fit. However, I would have appreciated a private conversation beforehand rather than being put in that position at the start of the appointment. The way this was handled felt unprofessional and disappointing, especially given the level of service and cost. I will not be returning as there are many other salons that can do it right the first time. Just sharing my experience for others.

I had the massage, mud bath, and collagen facial booked. The spa is super cute and clean. Upon being brought back, I started with the massage. The massage room is super cool, and really set the vibe for the massage. They had cool lights on the ceiling that looked like outer space and a heated mat on the table to keep you warm and cozy. The massage itself was really nice and felt like it went on forever which I loved. Almost fell asleep a few times haha. After the massage I was given a robe and brought into the mud bath room. This was a surprise experience so I wasn't aware I needed a bathing suit for the mud bath, but the staff provided little towels to keep my modesty and not have to get my clothing wet for the bath. They did the collagen facial while I was in the mud bath which was convenient, but it wasn't really a facial like I'm used to. They mostly just wiped some stuff on my face and put a face mask sheet on my face, nothing special. The mud bath was really nice and relaxing though and made me feel super smooth and nice after. The staff was all very professional and made me feel cozy and comfortable. I would definitely recommend this place and will be returning. They also use the high end skin care products I use at home so that's a plus (I believe it's extra for them in the services). After my services I was waiting for my friend to finish and they again offered tea and water to me.
