Just flew in today. I had nails done in a different state yesterday and they only put dip powder on 8 nails and said Gel polish was all that was needed for fingers with a design. They lied. So I found Sue Nail Spa, called a few minutes before they opened and they were willing to take me in and fix the 2 nails. They were amazing. Took no time at all to remove gel and put on dip powder. So grateful!! When I am in town and need my nails done, I will definitely be back!! read more

Came here on a Sunday afternoon for a gel manicure. I was told to pick a color and sit down and for the next 20 minutes, I was not spoken to or attended to. I understand that the staff is busy, but no one, even the receptionist, let me know that I would be helped soon. I almost got up and left during this ignored time period. On top of this poor service, when I got my nails done, the worker cut my finger with the nail file. I am disappointed by this service and don't plan on coming here again any time soon to be honest. read more

My first time coming here and they were nice to me but the lady started doing my nails and by the time she finished i hated it. It was too thick and it was suppose to be ombré. She changed it for me but she definitely had an attitude towards me because I didn't tell her the first time she asked me if I liked it. We called because of the good yelp reviews and they took us right away- 2 of us for pedis. There was no waiting and we luckily found parking in front. They asked if we wanted to upgrade to spa pedis and we said yes. It included a 10 min massage and some lotions and a scrub. It felt great to me, but my friend was being tickled. She just asked for firmer pressure and it was ok. The space was clean, the pedi well done and fast, color was clean. We opted for 10 minutes on the massage chair and that was a relaxing addition. read more

First time using this salon because the other place I called needed an appointment! I called and Sue answered and said "no problem, come right now!" I was ecstatic because I am pressed for time, which only I knew! I never mentioned that to Sue. When I walked in I was greeted right away, seating and getting my nails done, everyone was pleasant and Vicky was the one that did my nails and massage and took her time and didn't rush! she did an excellent job! I just moved into the neighborhood and was searching for a great nail place to replace my usual go-to spot. It's hard to switch after going to someone for 17 years! I called the salon to ask if they could take me with no appointment and o my luck... they could! I walked over (another plus for me!) and waited maybe no more than 5 minutes. I picked a color and went to the pedicure chair first. The basin was lined with a disposable sanitary plastic and new tools were opened to use for me. I chose the spa pedicure as opposed to the regular pedicure. It was so good! The massage chair was turned on and I sat down. Some jelly thing instead of the usual water felt so good and relaxing. 10 minute leg massage after the sea mask was washed off. The polish was applied precisely. Next was the manicure - I went in for a regular manicure but I asked about the powder gel (SNS is the brand most people know), and I was intrigued. I decided to go with that. I'm happy with how it turned out and will definitely be back... not just because of the finished product but because the place was clean, everyone was super friendly, and it felt like my "usual" place. (The complimentary shoulder massage after my nails were done also helps ;) ) thank you sue and staff! read more

not a good experience. I asked for acrylic and said that's all i wanted, she kept insisting I do dip powder after I said I didn't want to and did dip powder. I wanted to do very long nails, but she cut them too short. I showed her what I wanted to do beforehand so that she could pick out the colors out and she didn't have any of the colors I wanted. she could have done done my french tip in regular polish or gel, but did not even offer to do this. absolutely terrible service. read more

After I tipped for my manicure, the manager wanted me to tip more. The audacity for someone who is asking for a customer to tip more?! Tip is optional and based on service and work. I got a mani/pedi here and overall, I thought they were very good. On mon-wed a mani/pedi is $20, which I thought was a good deal. They were friendly when I walked in and had a good selection of colors. I thought the woman who did my nails was good - she cut my cuticles well (which is something that I always look for in a nail place!) Reasons why I didn't give it 5 stars: 1. They were SLOW. It was almost 1 1/2 hours for a mani/pedi. In my opinion, that's too long. I think it should be 1 hour tops. 2. There was a "quick dry" top coat that they charged $1 extra for. Really? I should've brought my own Essie good to go. But overall, the place is clean, ambiance is nice - wooden floors, nice pedicure chairs, etc. and the price was good. i am writing this review while sitting on their massaging chair while getting a pedi.. feels pretty great! on tues, wed, & thurs, you can get a mani & pedi for $20. there are always new ppl here doing my nails, but they've all been pretty good & they all have done a fine job in cutting my cuticles. the owner is friendly, there is a good selection of colors, & you also get a shoulder massage at the end while you dry your nails. the only thing about this place that is a bit annoying is the $1 extra for a top coat. i just go home that night & put it on myself & my polish lasts 2 weeks and then some. read more

This place is actually not half bad if they would take more pride in their work. I asked the nail tech if I could take home the nail clippers, cuticle pusher, and cuticle cutter home since she told me they throw them out anyways. And considering that a manicure here is only $7, I figured that little bundle of nail tools only costed a few bucks to the salon. She asked if i'd like a new set and I said sure. When the owner came up with a price, she said something outrageous like 20 or 30 bucks, which I politely declined. She later then came back up to me and asked me again if i'd like to buy it and told me $15. I politely declined again. They were trying to make a few extra bucks, understandable, but they really shouldn't be trying to swindle their customers, it just looks shady. The manicure in all was pretty bad too. Honestly, i could have done better myself. The polish by the cuticles weren't done properly, it was all over the place and looked messy. I had polish all over my cuticles and fingers that she didn't bother cleaning up. She started rushing when there was another customer which just made them look even worse. She kept layering the polish too, which made them look thick. There were bubbles on my nails when it dried. On some nails there was so much space on the sides. She even painted the edge of my nails, which i have never seen before. And since my nails started chipping a day after the manicure, it started chipping where she painted them on the edge first, and it just made the manicure look weird and spacey at the top. All in all, the atmosphere and everything wasn't something I enjoyed, and i will not be going back here again. read more
