The woman on the phone was so sweet and welcoming, we pulled up quick and they helped my little brother right away we weren't there for more than 30 minutes. She made him feel so comfortable, called him by his name and everything! Wow had the best experience here this afternoon. My son's dad butchered his hair a couple months ago and I finally decided to go get it fixed now that it has grown out a little. Start to finish this has to be the best salon experience (for me AND for him) I've ever had. Made a same-day appointment and when we arrived, we were greeted by one of the owners. The salon is big, clean and cutely decorated and there was already a cartoon playing on the TV. Bella is the other owner (they are siblings) and my son immediately felt comfortable with him. Because his hair was in such disarray, the cut took him longer to perfect (and trust me when I tell you he is a perfectionist), and my son sat completely still for him the entire time. My kid is chill, but he has never sat that still for anyone else. Bella put us both at ease and he is SO personable, felt like I was just there making a new friend. I am super picky and when I say this place is 5 stars, I mean it. Aside from the great service and lovely owners, the cut itself is the best one he's had, literally not a single hair out of place. Soooo I thought I was happy with my hair and I AM NOT. Tried this place for the first time due to the reviews but after my hair experience I will not be coming back. First of ALL, the aunt was in a hurry to cut my aunts hair after I told her I wanted to show her a picture of how I wanted my sons hair to look. The previous place I went told me my sons size for his haircut but I was unsure and I told the lady to give me a second so I can show her a pic. She sat my son and began with a sample on the side which was good for the side of his head and she asked "Side okay like this?" And I responded yes and then I saw her run the machine over the top of his head! I exclaimed "Oh no!!! That's too short for the top!!" She looked all scared but I honestly was in shock and couldn't even believe she cut his hair over the top like that...... I tried to keep my cool and be positive and told her just to leave it and let's try to fix it somehow..... I wanted a fade and ended up with a bowl cut that was worked on & trimmed like 20times..... she also cut my sons head. Honestly I was in shock the whole time I was there.... Then Reaska took over and actually did a better job covering up her aunts bad cut and it looked better but still wasn't happy with his cut! It looks like a bowl cut trying to get fixed into a fade. So since Reaska looked like she had done a better job on cutting my sons hair, I let her trim my Lob I had originally. I told her I wanted to keep my long Bob which she said it was a "Lob" so that she was going to trim it.... Well when I showered and straightened it at home, it was just a short hair cut. No long a long bob haircut..... ‍ As I mentioned, I asked for a Lob and ended up with Dora the Explorer short hair. Horrible experience Especially after seeing my sons head cut from trying to get it fixed. This was my first time here and definitely my LAST!! read more
