Lobster Dumpling - Indulgent dumpling where the natural lobster is clearly tastable, and elevated with a touch of caviar on the beautifully crimpled crystal skin. Dover Sole Dumpling - Tender and comforting dumpling that offers a classic light flavor profile of white fish, ginger, and scallion. Truffle Siu Mai - Beautiful dumpling that has the perfect mixture of prawn, pork, and scallop. The truffle adds a complementary earthiness that works well. [ PART II ] Prawn and Gai Lan Cheung Fun - Well made dish that has intriguing layers of texture, with the crisp being the fried bean curd wrapping. I think this combination would taste even better if it were whole shrimp instead of shrimp paste/meatball and not deep fried since their other cheung fun is also crispy. Wild Mushroom Cheung Fun - morel and wild mushroom take on cheung fun is a indulgent luxury; it works well inside of the chinese donut crisp, creating a medley of textures from the soft rice crepe to the high surface area mushrooms to the crisp. Black Truffle Roasted Duck - Impressively flavorful duck dish that is powered by that additive truffle sauce. The duck is tender and goes diabolically comforting with rice. Iberico Cha Siu - Such a prime cut of honey glazed pork that has the sweetness and the balance between fat and meat of the pork. The mustard adds a light tingyness, while the michelin shaped radish offers some acidic relief. I also like that they added the Siu Yuk element with the crisp chicharron on top. And it immediately became our favorite so far. It may seem strange to say that then give it only 4 stars but the only item that was odd to us was the way you order. It was quite unclear. It is a set menue, with various price points. It was not made clear to us initially that when choosing a menu, you are choosing the ENTIRE MENU, not choosing a menu then items off that chosen set list. Had we understood that we may have gone with something else as I have stomach issues that making eating out a bit of an ordeal. So when talking about a set menu at this price point that can get quite tricky as you can imagine. However4 I did notify the staff at the time of booking and they did go above and beyond to distinctly point out everything that may be problematic for me in each dish. I did not end up having issues post meal. It was also quite loud and we're just getting older and have less of a tolerance for that now. The food was all delicious, even if we weren't totally sure what were eating all the time. They did not scoff at or seem judgey when I had to ask for a fork - I'm just really bad with chopsticks (think food flinging out of my hand into my lap) I did not love my specialty Negroni that I ordered off the cocktail menu. It was very sweet for a Negroni, but I did love my second, classic, basic one. it was very good. My husband loved both of his drinks (Old Fashioned's). They also comped our desserts and sent out a special Happy Honeymoon message on one additional dessert, which was very sweet and unexpected of them. A note I constantly see on Michelin starred restaurants as a complaint is that you spend a lot of money to leave a bit hungry, and yes it is very expensive, but we were not hungry when we left. It is hardly a normal price point but you are getting a great evening and not leaving hungry.

And the service was incredible -- really could not have been better. As a wine nerd, I have to say I don't love their wine service. You can't order a full bottle, only 500 ml or less, which means you're never presented with the bottle, so (in theory) you're never really sure you're actually getting what you ordered or getting a bottle that wasn't opened days ago. That being said, I have no doubt that the wines we were served were correct and relatively freshly opened, but I still would've appreciated proper bottle service. (On the other hand, being forced to buy only 500 ml at a time meant we could try two wines instead of sticking with just one bottle.) The ambiance was lovely -- spacious, sleek, classy, modern, with gigantic aquariums. This restaurant will be at the top of my list to revisit next time I'm in London!
