Halal Kitchen "Chinese" food is A-OK (3.5Star) in my opinion. First, the food is Halal so that is a big plus for anyone seeking Halal Food :) Second, you will notice the place is clean and does not have a smell. Third, the staff are really nice and attentive. They will bring you complimentary crackers with ducksauce and really fast in bringing the order as they are made, as other places they will wait until all dishes are completed before they bring it !!! I am quiet surprise to see such negative reviews regarding this spot, however me and my family every time we have arrived here were greeted in friendly manner and staff came and asked us how we are doing, how our food is, if there's anything else we need ... I would highly recommend the General Sco Dish, the soup is OK nothing great however I like the Lo Mein.

Delicious take out! Deserves better ratings. General TSO, beef lo mein, beef with vegetables, and sweet and sour chicken were some of the best i have ever had. Highly Recommend

My husband and his family has been coming here for years now. Since, my husband's family eats only Halal food, this spot is one of the closest Chinese Halal joints around Forest Hills, so we decided to order take out from here earlier tonight for a family dinner. Here's some pros and cons about the spot: Service: Great! Friendly and super fast. We ordered a variety of items for dinner pick up. When my husband and I arrived our food was about ready and while we waited, the owner started engaging in small talk with us, about the restaurant and background etc. We enjoyed the friendly conversation while our food was getting packed. Price: Super Cheap! Wow! This place is a winner when it comes to cheap take out! Less than $10 and you can enjoy a large or small side of soup, fried rice, half fried chicken and still have left overs for the next day! Food: Quality of the food is ok, but nothing great. I was a bit disappointed as when we arrived home we noticed that some of our ordered items were wrong. I specifically asked for the Szechuan Chicken to be dry and after confirming it, it was made with gravy. Too late to go back so I had to settle. Though it didn't taste bad (more like a thai version of basil chicken). Soups: We tried their beef wonton egg drop soup and the chicken corn soup. Both delicious with good amounts of meat in them, though my favorite was the beef wonton soup. $2.75 for a sm or about $3.50 for a lg. Can't beat that deal! Rice: We ordered the beef, chicken and shrimp fried rice. I had the shrimp and felt it lacked on the flavor. Also, shrimp was very little (about 4-5 small pieces). Probably won't get it again. Noodles: We ordered the Beef Chow Fun and Chicken Lo Mein. Though not bad, I wasn't a huge fan of the beef chow fun, though my husband enjoyed it. He even had left over for the next day. Their portions are definitely big and prices low as mentioned. Fried Items: Fried chicken was crisp, fresh and tasty. Not oily as most fast food chains so definitely enjoyed that! Fried fish was not bad either. Though I prefer the fried chicken over the fish. Bottom Line: Friendly place, fast service, Halal Chinese and super cheap prices make this place a great stop. Is it something I'd crave though? No. Is it a place I'd drop by if was hungry and on a budget or seeking Halal food? Yes! Until next time...

I enjoyed their food a lot. As I was trying to reduce weight I ordered from their dieter special side which is steamed chicken and vegetables for about $7 they gave garlic sauce on the side and regular rice. On its own the chicken is a pleasure to eat as it's cooked well while still having a pleasant flavor; the sauce was a nice accompaniment. I did not have delivery issues as I used Uber Eats. I would get this order again and likely will soon.

They do have plenty of indoor seating, but it's more of a fast food setup than a dine-in instead of a restaurant. The person taking our order at the front was super nice and friendly. Didn't rush us at all. It's also one of those places where you seat yourself and clean up after yourself. Foodwise, my friend and I both got combo meals, which comes with fries and a drink. I got the four wing combo and tried the Spicy Fevy's 2.0 sauce on the side. The wings were good, but the sauce wasn't really that spicy at all. Very mild. Still a great spot if you want a quick bite and if you're looking for Halal KFC.

Also, both sauces on the sweeter side rather than savory. Just a note for those that prefer savory wings. The Parmesan fries were good too. Our order included two drinks, so we got the milk tea and Korean orange soda (the one with mandarin pulp inside- haven't had one of these in so long!) Portion sizes were decent and service was great. Looking forward to ordering from Fevy's again in the future!

I went during Ramadan with my partner to break my fast, and they were so accommodating. Tip: call them to make a quick reservation beforehand. Next, onto the food. We ordered the dumplings, lamb stew with naan, and their special noodles. Everything was absolutely mind blowing. The lamb was perfectly seasoned and fell right off the bone. The bread was soaked in flavor. The noodles are perfect for a cold night. The noodles are mixed in house and fresh, and you can definitely taste the difference in fresh noodles and store brought. Their service was impeccable. Our host was gracious and greeted us in Arabic as soon as we walked in. He took our order fairly quickly, and the food did not take that long to come out. Whenever he spoke, he had his hand over his heart and was so friendly. I cannot speak anything but praise about this place. It's amazing and I plan to go there soon again with my whole family. Everything was delicious and this restaurant could easily be one of the top 10 restaurants I've ever been to in my life.

What a way to end the week…read more Since moving to Brooklyn, I have had my fair share of Lagman, a popular dish in Uyghur cuisine. Cafe Kashkar in Brighton Beach, Nargis Cafe in Sheepshead Bay, this is the dish that keeps on giving. Until eating here. I will just keep this one all to myself. Everything here is right, on top of right, on top of right, on top of right. Friendly, fast, and efficient service. A pretty ambiance that does not hit you over the head with a walking stick, and some of the best Lagman I have eaten this side of the East River. These folks know what they are doing. To come here and not order some naan is a huge insult, so I did that. Even that is done properly. The naan is light and full of flavor. It needs no oil or anything to spruce it up. Enjoy it for what it is. The Lagman hits all the right notes, checking every box that Lagman needs to have. Ample and flavorful meat? Check. Fresh hand pulled noodles that are also ample? Check. Crispy, sautéed vegetables? Check. About a quarter of the way through my meal, one of the owners came up to me and offered me chili oil to put in the dish. I obliged as I learned from Cafe Kashkar the importance of adding flavor to this dish. It really does elevate everything on the plate and brings all those flavors that are already on the plate, forward. Everything is rather affordable as well. Before the New York Times finds out about this little hole in the wall and blows this restaurant's cover, I will close this review by simply stating this restaurant is a winner, without all the aforementioned accolades.

I've had a lot of halal in Queens and this is hands down my new favorite spot! Not only are the workers friendly but the clientele they attract are also nice and welcoming and chatty and really live this spot as well. I ordered the chicken platter as is with extra white sauce and a side of white sauce. Yes, that sauce is amazing!! You can eat there but i took my order to go. It did not disappoint! Flavor of rice chicken and fries were awesome! Fries held up even after taking it home and being covered in takeout container. My only gripe is the chicken to rice ratio. Wayyy more rice than chicken. I would love them to be more equal so I don't have so much rice to throw out/save after. The platter was a meal enough for two! And for a great price. Definitely coming back!

I love how reliable this spot is when I need some late night halal food. They listed their business hours from 9 am to 4 am or 5 am on weekends - these are some very long business hours! My go to orders is the combo platter with chicken and lamb over rice, fries, and salad with all the sauces and their lunch special buy one get one gyro (applicable to chicken, lamb, combo, or falafel only)! The chicken and lamb meats are well seasoned and not dry at all. The platters are huge which justifies the higher price point and food is much more fresh and delicious compared to most carts in Queens. Recently, I tried the fried fish rice platter and it was delicious - fish was nicely fried and crispy, and doesn't seem greasy. I would order this again when I need a break from my combo. The platter is usually big enough for my hubs and I to share! Otherwise, it's two meals for me!
