The halal meat is fresh. Call ahead and you can pick up meat quickly. Otherwise depending on how busy it is, you might have to wait a while.

For around $35, they offer a surprisingly large variety of different cuts of meat, so there's plenty to choose from and you definitely get your money's worth. The meat quality is about what you'd expect for an all-you-can-eat restaurant -- nothing super premium, but good enough for the price and variety. Being able to try so many different cuts without worrying about the bill adding up is definitely the highlight.

But, when you pair it with great meat options, you have a winner! My favorites (in no particular order) are the Galbi, Beef Brisket, Thin-Sliced Pork Belly, and Marinated Pork Steak. All are fantastic! And the service is great as well. All the different servers we have experienced are always hovering to make sure our meats are cooking properly, our sauces are filled, and that we are all well hydrated ;) The atmosphere is also fun and upbeat. It starts with the music (which is pumping pretty heavily) and the abundant chatter among all the guests. Really great! As mentioned previously, they do not take reservations. So either come early ... or plan to wait.

Minor critiques: Not as responsive on specialty orders as I'd like, and often doesn't carry the tougher cuts that are needed for some recipes. Otherwise, well worth the trip!

I picked them up on a Saturday to eat on Sunday. On Sunday when I opened the package I was met with the smell I feared I may. It's like meat you buy at a grocery store that is on the sale by date and usually get for a discount. The meat is not spoiled but has an off taste to it. That's how these smelled and sadly tasted. I sent an email to the store and they apologized and offered me free replacements. I went back and when o got to the meat counter the Pattie's were a bright red. I was excited. I brought these home and cooked them and they are absolutely amazing. I believe they were 10.99 a pound which for the quality of the beef, it's not much more than a grocery store. The grind on these Pattie's were absolutely amazing. Best texture for a hamburger I ever had. The flavor is excellent as well. These are grass fed and grain finished beef and have a different and different flavor than standard grocery store beef which is normally fed straight grain. I highly recommend this butcher shop. They also have great looking steaks which again are a bit more than grocery store steaks but the flavor difference of grass fed beef is worth it.

1 Star is too much -- Very disappointing experience…read more We were really excited to try this restaurant because we were hoping for an authentic Argentinian dining experience. Unfortunately, it was nothing like what we expected, and the food was extremely disappointing. Then I found out the owner is Bolivian not even Argentinian. The chimichurri was red and had a very different taste than what we expected. The green hot sauce was basically like eating raw jalapeño--extremely overpowering. The mashed potatoes were watery and very salty, and the broccoli was literally sitting in so much water that almost half of the bowl was full of it. The rice tasted like microwave rice, and the French fries were just ordinary fries. The biggest disappointment was the meat. It was extremely fatty, chewy, and had almost no flavor. The chicken was overcooked and tasted like leftovers that had been reheated. For an Argentinian restaurant, the quality and preparation of the meat should be one of the highlights, but unfortunately, it was the complete opposite. Honestly, we could barely eat our food and ended up leaving most of it. What made the experience even worse was that, despite barely being able to eat the food, we were still charged half of the meal. The total bill was over $85, and that included $5 for a small cup of what tasted like microwave rice. Just in case the food looks half-empty in the pictures, we did put some of the food onto our plates to try it. Unfortunately, we couldn't eat it, so that's why some of the containers look partially empty. As someone who was genuinely looking forward to trying Argentinian food, this experience was incredibly disappointing. In my opinion, this restaurant does not represent the quality or flavors that people expect from Argentinian cuisine. Unfortunately, I cannot recommend this restaurant, and I would not return.

The service was excellent and accommodating. I was impressed because I know large groups can be difficult to wait on, so was very pleased with the service and how quick they were to get our orders in and us served. We ordered a variety of appetizers, such as the the empanadas, calamari, and garlic shrimp. My favorite items were the empanadas and calamari, which were extra tasty with the accompanying sauces. We also ordered a variety of grilled meats, including the two large Parrillada meat platters and picanha . The accompanying sides we tried were the fries, cheese rice, fried yucca, and plantains. I really liked the plantains, but the cheese rice was not was I expected. It was more like grits than cheesy rice. The meats were cooked to how we requested it, and of course tastes especially good with the sauces. My favorite cuts were the strip steak, beef rib, and picanha. I didn't really care for the sweet breads, but that is a personal preference. Value wise, the Parrillada platters could easily feed 4 - 5 people, so we had plenty of leftovers. I would definitely recommend checking out La Estancia if you enjoy grilled meats!
