We got the maamoul mad walnut and maamoul mad dates - along with baklava. And a pistachio dessert filled with cream - very sweet and tasty. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Very nice bakery.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]Fun place![[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

[[HIGHLIGHT]]This is a cute and small pastry place.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]Even though it's small, there's still a few tables inside to eat your desserts![[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] They are a bit pricey but they are delicious and look cute. They weigh the pastries and charge per weight I believe. The employees are very kind and the parking is easy to navigate as it is in a plaza. Would go back to get a handful more as a little treat.

We found this great little Lebanese pastry spot while waiting for some brunch reservations. It's pretty straight to the point, they have everything available on display and you pick what you want and take it to go. There's no real ambiance to the place outside of a cute little pastry shop (I didn't see any seating inside or outside). It's a little pricey ($16 per pound), but it's really fresh and not loaded with sugar, which is something we all loved! The baklava and the walnut dessert were our favorites, but we weren't huge fans of either of the cheese based desserts. The service was quick and we were in and out in less than 5 minutes. I am delighted that someone beat me to it and posted a review about this fabulous Middle Eastern Patisserie. We visited this store 2 weeks ago and I have been trying to find the time to write a glowing review because they deserve it. We always stop by the Hallab Pastry stores in Lebanon & we were thrilled when friends told us they had opened a store in Anaheim! Their Lebanese sweets are top notch! The first thing I want to mention is that if you enter the store address in your navigator and you are having a hard time finding this store - please KEEP LOOKING! It is there, but it is hard to find! It is tucked in the RIGHT corner behind the Little Arabia Restaurant that has a big tent up and almost hides the Hallab store front. (Picture attached). Had a friend of ours not told us that it was definitely in that plaza I would have thought it did not exist. Once inside you will find a beautiful, elegant patisserie with decor that is so reminiscent of the Middle East, you may forget for a minute that you are in still in LA! The gentleman serving us was very polite & welcoming & with true Middle Eastern hospitality gave us some treats to taste. We of course bought much more than we should have, but no regrets here as everything was outstanding. The Pistachio Mafrouke is truly delicious, as is the "regular" "Mafrouke". Knafe is of course a Middle Eastern dessert that cannot be missed, so we tried both the "Knafe bi Asthma" (Knafe with Cream Filling) & the traditional "Knafe with the cheesy filling". With the rose water & orange blossom scented syrup drizzled on top of these treats, you will think you are in heaven. Make your way to Hallab - you will not regret it!!! It is by far the best Middle Eastern Patisserie we have found in the USA!

I had more items than pictured & they were the best I've had. I've tried many other middle eastern bakeries & this 1 is the best. I can't find the pistachio cream thing anywhere else in southern California. Too bad I live far from here. I'll buy more when I return.

$11 for all of these treats

My boyfriend and I had a random craving for some baklava and found this bakery via Yelp. Boy was it well worth it and satisfied every craving we had! I feel like we stumbled on a gem and despite not really having visited any other locations to find these delicious treats I guarantee we will be returning. The bakery is located in a fairly busy shopping center but the place itself is easy to find. Inside the attendant was nice and helpful explaining how everything was sold by weight and in specific container sizes. We ordered the second smallest container and the total came out to $11. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The storefront was beautiful, clean, and very tidy.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]It was not very busy but we were also there on a Tuesday afternoon.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I hope this review convinces you to stop by because everything was delicious and you can tell made with love as well as high quality products!

Thankfully, they took pity on two desperate bread hunters. When they told me the only option was buying an entire tray of 60 Senorita breads, I acted shocked for about half a second before enthusiastically saying, "Deal!" 15 mins later, we were handed a box of pure happiness. Naturally, hubby and I had to perform a thorough quality-control inspection in the car. 6 pieces each later (strictly for research purposes, of course), we confirmed the verdict: fresh, hot, buttery, soft, chewy, perfectly sweet, and dangerously addictive!!! By the time we got home, the box was already looking a little less full. The drive home basically turned into a rolling bread feast!!

It came out warm, buttery, soft, and slightly sweet. Definitely one of those things that's impossible to eat just one of. They have a huge variety of baked goods too. I tried the pistachio and ube mochi donuts which were both delicious, and they also had malasadas filled with different creams, walnut brownies, classic donuts, and lots of fresh packaged bread to take home. The bakery smelled amazing, service was friendly, and everything felt fresh. This is definitely a spot I'd stop at again, especially before heading to Disneyland since it's such an easy and worthwhile stop nearby.
