Having Georgie's restaurant delivered to the room to eat while watching the sunset is perfection
    Myriah H.

Check in was easy and quick. Our hotel was very nice and clean. The view of the beach from our room was spectacular! Watching the sunset from the balcony while eating room service from their restaurant "Georgie's" was perfection! My husband said the ribeye was in the top 3 best steaks he's ever had. We definitely will be back!

The room is spacious, newly designed and has spectacular views of the ocean. Ocean front view from your room!! I can't say enough about Kalley who helped me problem solve some challenges prior to our arrival. She was helpful and understanding. Felt like home away from home. They have a coffee, tea and hot chocolate bar that comes in handy. The workout room is a bit dated but has just about everything you need including a peloton. Our room was a short walk to the beach. The resort is also connected to their famous Restaurant Georgie's. It was ok. Plenty of parking. Helpful staff and cute welcome basket with yummy snacks. It's centrally located in the heart of Newport. Everything was less than a five minute drive. Our stay was 10/10. It's clean and comfortable. The only thing is that there's lots of fog throughout the day.

King corner suite with a hot tub

Enjoyed a two night stay for our one year wedding anniversary. They had very sweet accommodations including swan shaped pillows, a bottle of champagne or cider and a snack basket. The view was amazing, right on the beach unlike some other resorts nearby. There is beach access near the restaurant next door. The restaurant next door provides room service and when we ate there we thoroughly enjoyed the food. The room was a corner suite with a king bed, a living room area, large kitchenette, fireplace and a two person hot tub with jets. The hot tub was lovely and there were bath salts and robes given to enjoy. One of the tv's had capabilities to sign into Amazon prime with your own account to purchase movies to watch. They also have a dvd rental service near the front desk. The only reason I am not giving 5 stars is because the Bluetooth option for the tvs (two tvs inside) weren't working, the volume went out on one tv on the second night, the thermostat wasn't working and one pillow had a fairly large stain on it.

-Small iprovements would be nice. -2 Queen room only one night stand in the middle?! Two of us wear glasses also Only one person can charge their phone between the beds. The lamp on the desk area might work better between the beds. -Dont expect to check in before 4 (understandable) even in early spring. -Sedans that sit lower- GO SLOW at the first enterence/exit to the right of the pool/check in location. - You WILL hear your above neighbors a little! -LOVE that there is tea, hot chocolate and coffee around the clock. -Shower had EXCELLENT pressure and heat! -Pool area was clean, and well kept! Large towels provided, only down side is having to go up so many flights of stairs outside to get to the pool. -Personaly I feel the restaurant that provides the room service is a bit overpriced. (I've eaten there in the last few years)- It does have a beautiful view! -Beds were very comfy for all! -The room has the tiniest fan I've ever seen! -I love that in the Wall of Windows there is a tiny window in which you can open it to hear the ocean! -It was post holiday and the room service wasn't available that night. -Be ready of using the stairs, wether it's maneuvering the building to going down to the beach. They do have an elevator by the lobby. -Poo on not having an available flashlight. As it was mentioned in the binder in room. Also speaking of said binder-keep in mind it's just not up to date- It is what it is when it comes to not having to use more paper/ink. This place is well loved (maintained). LOVE the lit mirror (reminded me I didn't bring my tweezers haha). Room had a large amount of extra space ; if you need to set up a playpen or doggie bed there is still lots of space to walk. Absolutely would love to come here again! Every bit of the staff was very friendly!

Check in was a breeze. All of our info was on file and the room was ready early. There was coffee available in the lobby and it is a nice medium blend. The room we reserved has a gas fireplace and a mini kitchenette. This includes a small fridge, microwave, Keurig with coffee supplies and a sink that has a filter on the cold water for fresh drinking and coffee. The beds have a comfortable mid range firmness, not too soft or firm. The balcony view over the ocean is outstanding. There are a couple of comfortable chairs with a small drink table between them. The front wall is a plexiglass wall so your view is unobstructed. The odd thing about the balconies is that they are not quite private. There is a small wall between balconies rather than a closed wall. The room is spacious enough and comes equipped with a gas fireplace on a timer switch. There is also an iron and ironing board and plenty of dresser drawers and hangers for those of us who like to unpack. We are here to celebrate our retirement and the hotel had helped our friends to arrange a welcome gift of flowers, balloons and a charcuterie board that was created by Georgie's, the on-site restaurant. The hotel staff are also outstanding and have checked on us to see if everything is satisfactory. We have yet to check out the indoor heated pool and hot tub, but it looks very clean and inviting. Five stars for this particular class of Hotel, especially for the Service, view and cleanliness. ================== Update We just got back from the pool. Most excellent! There is a heated pool, a large jacuzzi tub AND a really nice sauna complete with hot rocks, water and ladle. Maintenance came through while we were there checking on Ph levels, chlorine, temps.... This place is well maintained indeed. That sauna was a new experience, very comfortable. Definitely 5 stars now.

This is more like a 4.5 star rating but Yelp will not let me do that directly. We search for places to stay that have the ability to do room service (not something like doordash real on site room service). This place did not let us down. The food was good and served in a timely fashion with all the supporting items, real traditional room service. In addition I like a room with a tub and they had that too, and it was a deep enough tub where it worked like a tub. Next there was the ambiance of the room. It is hard to describe so I will add some pictures, lets just say you are not going to be disappointed. There is also a path to the beach, this place is right on the beach. So why not a 5 star? (How can they improve?) 3 items I find frequently: 1) If I pay more than $200 a night I need some premium TV Channels without commercials (Like HBO, Showtime, etc.) 2) There are over 4000 religions on the planet. If you are going to leave religious propaganda in a room leave it for all of them or none of them (loose the bible). 3) I always take a bath. Go sit down in a bathtub in one of your rooms and tell me "How am I suppose to use the soap and shampoo?". Bolting it to the wall for the shower people does not work for the tub people. Also you are missing out on some great marketing here. We still revisit places after we come across some of there small soaps or shampoo bottles from a past trip. Don't think of these items as consumables, brand them and think of them as long term marketing.

My husband and I came to Newport to enjoy and over night stay with friends. We saw there were rooms with spa tubs. We asked about them. After speaking to my husband about it we decided that after my upcoming cancer surgery in 10 days and I'm doing better by end of summer to come back and enjoy. We didn't realize until we got to the room they upgraded us. It was what was meant by the very nice check in staff by to relax before my surgery. Thank you so much. We will be booking our stays here for now on. Best hotel on the Coast.

Where do I begin? The ocean views are absolutely breathtaking. The room is gorgeous with amazing amenities. Customer service is impeccable. We are so pleased and will plan to stay here again.

What a wonderful view and location for a wedding! I visited for my friend's wedding and stayed on the 3rd floor. Most of the rooms are accessed from outside with small flights of stairs. They have a 24 hour gift shop with Hallmark items, snacks and clothing. Beach access after a few flights of stairs. The neighboring restaurant Georgies has amazing Clam Chowder and the best service. They also have a nice pool, sauna and hot tub that is accessible from the ground floor or 4th floor. Always bring a rain jacket to the Oregon Coast! Thors well is about an hours drive away ok the coast and amazing.

Beautiful hotel but what stuck out the most was the service. Everyone we encountered was lovely and helpful. Room service was ok but not outstanding. Would absolutely stay here again.

Pros: We had a nice spacious 3rd floor room with a great view of the beach. The hotel has nice amenities like great toiletries that smell lovely, nice robe and a balcony plus a fireplace. Shower had 3 separate water nozzles which was fun! (Although took a minute to figure out how to use) Heated infinity Jacuzzi pool was wonderful! Fire pits near the pool also great! The front desk people were all very nice. The place was clean and they had cookies in the lobby that we tried one day (yum!) Cons: I was disappointed that they apparently did away with the made to order breakfast that they have pictured in their website. Instead of the items pictured was a Continental breakfast delivered in little plastic containers in a box. It was not bad taste wise, and I definitely appreciated the hard boiled egg as a bit of protein along with all the carbs. But it would have been nice to know of this change before booking. Price is fairly high for the cold month of March. We asked about the sofa bed getting set up for our 3rd person in the room and were told we needed to make it ourselves. For the price we paid it would have been nice that they could have sent someone to set up the sofabed, that was weird, and unexpected. Kind of felt like something a much lower end hotel would ask you to do. I debated between 3 and 4 stars since there were both good and bad points. If there was a 3.5 stars option this is what i'd choose honestly. I'd come back again but only if I got a much better rate.

The hotel is run down. Probably a solid 1 star hotel in any other city. It is NOT worth $400/…read morenight. i would go $250 without complaint. Even Orlando Disney resorts don't charge that exorbitant VAT/tourist taxes/fees that Newport Oregon does. The clerk that checked me in didn't bother to explain any of the hotel amenities. Had there not been another family checking in at the same time, I wouldn't have known what any of them were. I felt unwelcome. The silverfish in the bathroom is why the cleaning crew gets bad points. The rest of the low ratings are due to the run down condition of the venue, and the $400 5-star price.

The ocean views from the living room and the primary bedroom are absolutely beautiful and were one of the highlights of our stay. There were, however, a few things I wish had been disclosed on the website before booking. First, housekeeping is not provided for the rental homes, regardless of the length of your stay. This also means toiletries are not restocked. By the middle of the week, we ended up purchasing our own supplies. This may be standard for some vacation rentals, but it would have been helpful to know ahead of time since it's different from what many guests expect at a hotel. The biggest issue for our family was the layout of the home. There are three to four steps leading down into the primary bedroom, and there is no handrail. My elderly in-laws stayed in that room and had difficulty navigating the stairs. I think this is important information for anyone with mobility concerns. The primary bedroom also does not have an attached bathroom. The half bath is located off the laundry room near the kitchen, on the opposite side of the house, while the full bathroom is in the hallway. For older guests, a few simple safety features like grab bars and a non-slip surface in the bathroom would make a significant difference. I'm not expecting a fully ADA-compliant rental, but some basic accessibility considerations would go a long way. One thing the photos don't really capture is the scale of the furnishings. The home photographs beautifully, and the décor is very stylish, but it felt more like a staged model home than a place designed for a week-long stay. The living room had a very small, low three-person sofa and decorative accent chairs that looked nice but weren't particularly comfortable for relaxing as a larger family. The three smaller bedrooms would also benefit from having dressers or additional storage for guests staying more than a night or two. The kitchen was clean and attractive, but if you plan on cooking most of your meals--as many families do when renting a home--it could use a better selection of cookware. We found the knives, pots, and pans to be fairly limited for preparing meals. Overall, we enjoyed the beautiful views and convenient location, but I think providing more detailed information about the home's layout, amenities, and accessibility would help future guests decide whether it's the right fit for their needs.

We had a reservation mishap with a different hotel in Lincoln City and suddenly found ourselves needing a room at the last second on one of the busiest weekends of the year. Somehow, the Elizabeth was able to accommodate us, and we couldn't have been more grateful. From the moment we arrived, the hotel had such a comfortable and cozy feel. Our room was very clean, comfortable, and inviting, and it immediately felt like a place where we could relax. The fire pit is a great touch, especially on a cool Oregon Coast evening, and having a pool gives families another option when they're not out exploring. The location is another huge plus. Nye Beach is incredibly easy to access, making it simple to head down to the ocean, explore the area, and enjoy everything Newport has to offer without feeling like you have to drive everywhere. We also really appreciated the complimentary breakfast and chowder. If you're someone who doesn't need a massive breakfast first thing in the morning, it's perfect--simple, convenient, and enough to get your day started. The complimentary chowder is also such a nice coastal touch and adds to the welcoming atmosphere. What stood out most, though, was the hospitality. After the frustration we experienced with our previous reservation, having the Elizabeth find us a last-minute room during Labor Day weekend completely changed the direction of our trip. Instead of heading home disappointed, we were able to relax and enjoy a great weekend on the Oregon Coast. Clean rooms, a cozy atmosphere, fire pit, pool, easy beach access, complimentary breakfast and chowder, and a staff that came through when we really needed them. We would absolutely stay at The Elizabeth Oceanfront Suites again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Newport!
