This was enough time for her to finish a little dish and I completed a mini bowl. The owners are super sweet and walk you through the entire creative process. It's very organized and sanitary. They have everyone wash up before, choose their clay, and even pour the paints for you. Lots of people were coming in to pick up their creations. We decided to go on an adventure and take a painting class together. He, an engineer, didn't think himself a painter or an artist at all. Not officially called "the art room," but I thought it was a clever description. The painting process was explained and easy to understand. Every painting seemed very unique and easy enough to learn. Even though my bf wasn't an artist, his painting turned out wonderful! We had a great time. I recommend going after work with the girls or for a birthday party. I brought home a complete work of art and it was a really good time. Some suggestions: eat dinner ahead of time, come early to find parking, and you might not want to be a perfectionist because the two hours we had went by really quick. I bought some cherries from here which were delicious. It wasn't too busy when I visited, although I did go when the market just opened. One thing I like especially about this market is that it's right off the Federal Way Downtown 1 line light rail station. I hope that in the coming years, that this brings more foot traffic to the farmers market and helps it grow. The SeaTac Village Shopping Center is also a short walk away, so you can get all of your shopping needs done in one trip.

Half of the store is for fiber crafts and the other half is a gift shop with vintage-style offerings like drinking glasses, clothes, accessories, candleholders, and more. I really liked their yarn selection because I don't care for knitting with wool and they had lots of cotton, silk, and bamboo. Their prices are reasonable. I fell in love with yarn called Bamboo Bloom and bought two skeins. The woman who rang me up kindly gave me a copy of a pattern to knit with the yarn, a cute cowl. A knitting class was taking place near the back of the shop while we were there. I eavesdropped and was impressed with the instructor. Much like the other yarn stores I visited while vacationing in Washington, I wish I lived nearby so I could visit there more often.
