This store has been on my bookmark/collection for quite some time. I hardly am in this area but when I knew I would be somewhat in the area, I decided to make a mandatory stop. The store actually has a new location which is literally a few doors/feet down. You can park on the street or on the side of store but not too many spots. As soon as you step foot into the store, you are transported to Halloween Town, Spooky Town, or your worst nightmare. From classic horror films to pop culture villains, you will find anything your little black heart desires. Prices are a bit high but lots of items to choose from. Definitely a place to check out, especially if you are spooky!

Don't let this guy catch you on your phone lol

Traveled all the way to visit this place to buy a bunch of gifts. They have the worst customer service I've ever had, honestly best thing to do is go on Amazon. really hate to say that, but if you're gonna hire people to treat people like they're stupid ...... watch out for this guy

Hi former employee here, and recently went back to visit the store after 2 years as this store gives me PTSD from working here. Went back in and saw nothing has changed. Everything is still very overpriced, you can buy everything they sell there for a fraction of the price anywhere else; Spirit Halloween when they're open - or online, Amazon, eBay, legitimate with one google search / you can find your item for more than half off. As for my experience working here, the owner is not a good person as she used to encourage us the employees to racially profile the customers, and used to say the nastiest things about them. Which is why the employees seem, so nasty when you walk in. One time she asked me to follow a woman with darker skin pigmentation because she looked "suspicious". She didn't look any different than anyone else, and when i refused to do it - she told me I was being "insubordinate". Countless meal and break infractions were also committed and we were not allowed to report them or claim them which is illegal. She fired my friend (who I made working there), because she helped out a customer who unfortunately did not buy anything - hence she was wasting company time. She made us sign NDAs about the store, and also didn't allow us to shop anywhere else in Magnolia (Mystic Museum, Dark Delicacies, etc). If we were caught in another store, it'd be immediate termination. She also does tax fraud to ensure her business stays open, and sells illegal Disney merchandise that wasn't approved by the company. Do not purchase the Disney items there. On top of being racist, and misogynistic- she's a huge Trump supporter and purchases the hats to support his campaign only to resell them at a higher price as a "costume". She does not care about her employees or mental health, and would be upset if I took an extra 5 minutes to breathe because of how overwhelmed I'd get with her spying on us with her "security" cameras. I once asked my friend what her schedule looked like, and I received an email just minutes later asking me not to discuss the schedule with anyone as "that was confidential." Attached another photo to prove that she uses these cameras to eavesdrop on employees, and customers. I genuinely hope this place closes and shuts down soon. I know there's former (and current) employees that are planning on taking legal action against her very soon, so I hope the day and karma gets her in 2023.

I don't know if you believe in casting a spell or not, but I DO!!. Speaking from my own experience…read more Have been to a place like this one few years back in Santa Monica City by the beach/pier and whatever that lady said was nothing but the truth. On the 16th of this month, after I had Taco Bell, I have noticed this quaint, lovely, somewhat gothic, clean place and wanted to go in and see if they could be some sort of help to me. I have been feeling uncomfortable for the past year and a half. Wanted to know if someone has done a spell on me or not; and if they could remove the spell? Sure enough when it was my turn to sit on that chair, the young lady, (can't remember her name), said yes, 2 of your family members has done a spell on you, but was not able to tell me who they were. Not even their gender. I was shocked and got choked up. She relaxed me by giving me cup of water. This is a very unique store/shop with a lot of things to offer: jewelry, Tarot cards, scented and non scented candles, herbs of different kinds, incense blends, charm begs, essential oils, different colors, sizes and types of beautiful crystal rocks/balls. I was blown away by the selection of all of their items. Everything had it's own valuable price and looked clean, nice and new. They have street parking, woman owned, and didn't see a bathroom. I was also told that I should come at least 3 to 5 more times so they can work on me. I will definitely take action and go back. They accept most credit cards and cash. Didn't buy anything but was worth giving this shop a try..you can either make an appointment or simply walk in... Whether you are Christin, Buddhist, Spiritualist, or belong to any other religion.. all are welcome. Established back in 2017!

I love walking those few blocks. Parking is easy usually. But the day I went I walked in and wasn't greeted once. I was going to ask for help, but in the 20-30 minutes I was in there, the person behind the counter was chatting with a friend about various things the whole time. I wandered the whole place and didn't get acknowledged at all. Even when the friend left. It was odd, especially in a place like that. Every other spiritual and witchy place in the area I'm always helped out. I ended up getting a couple crystals. I wanted to get more by the vibe just wasn't it. They had a ton of stuff to choose from. Wide array of all things - crystals, books, cards, candles, spell magic, etc. I also got a mojo bag. But I unfortunately don't think I'll be going back.

We stumbled upon this Yelp listing when searching for bread. How we ended up searching for Bread…read moreis kind of a long story, but we wound up in this little store nonetheless. We were welcomed by the charming owners who were buzzing about trying to care for customers and make bread. A sweet lady asked if it was our first time and proceeded to give us a full blown tour. We spent a good 15 or 20 minutes chatting with her and learning about how bread is made, talking about her life and how she and her husband wound up opening the store. We concluded with taste tests of different products they offer. It was not at all what we expected, and kind of felt like an entire afternoon event rather than just popping into a bakery. By their own admission the bread is expensive, $20 for the standard sourdough loaf - but it is all organic, lovingly crafted and carefully selected to have a process and ingredients that avoid chemicals or preservatives. The bread (and other stuff we bought too) was delicious and it was a very cool place to visit for sure!

Wow! What a pleasant experience…read more I walked into the most welcoming shop. Greeted by Chef Randall, he was very sweet and excited to have me try their sourdough and explained what made their bread so special. Talk about clean ingredients! I tried the country sourdough and the cinnamon maple pecan sourdough with some raw butter. mmm mm. I went with the country sourdough loaf for $20 and was asked if I would like it sliced. I asked for thin sliced and sure enough he brought it over to his bread slicer machine (all the way from Belgium) and encouraged me even take a video of the process. It cut it super quick! He also brought out a sample of a special "no sugar bread pudding muffin" not yet on the menu. YUM! As he was packing up my purchase, he threw in a card on how to properly store the sourdough and tips on how to eat it. It was very informative. Especially if you don't know anything about bread aka ME. He also added a local magazine which features some recipes, news about the town, and farmers market details. I was also encourage to sign up for their e-newsletter. I expect many puns coming my way. Chef Randall is the epitome of kindness. Loves the work he does, is community oriented, and makes some good bread!
