Had my car detailed today. They did an ok job. In their defense, my car was VERY dirty. I selected the full detail for $260.00. I am a bit of a stickler for a high quality detail. First, when I looked at the car after completion I noticed all of the lower portions (rocker panels) of the car were still dirty. In order to get those clean you have to bend down to really scrub them. That didn't happen. Next, I noticed the areas around the duel tailpipes were still dirty. I also ran my finger along the paint in the wheel well. It was really dirty. I asked the technician for a wet rag and cleaned them myself. He did notice and he too started to clean those spots. As far as the tires are concerned, they glowed after he was done with the job. Unfortunately, the spokes of the wheels were still rather dirty. As I said, the car was really dirty before the full detail and those spokes needed some serious elbow grease. I guess I am trying to say that the wheel spokes weren't as clean as I would have expected. The inside of the car was hand treated and vacuumed nicely. I can definitely say the inside of the car looked quite good. As soon as the technician left, I pulled the car into my garage so I could hand wax the car. I spent approximately 1.5 hours hand waxing the car myself, after the detail! In conclusion, Halo did an ok job. I may expectations could be too high for a detailing service. On the other hand, I believe I should have high expectations when I spend more than $260.00 on a full detail. read more

Overall was dissatisfied with the service. Didn't vacuum out the 2 front seats. Floor mats were not cleaned well. Didn't spray down the dash with anything. I would've left a 3 star if the price was decreased. Just did not get the level of service expected for the $200+ price. read more

Absolutely love! I had my car and my husband's car cleaned the week I was due to have our baby and they came to us and did a fantastic job. I have two large dogs at home and a golden retriever who is my co-worker during work days and they all love car rides and love to shed and slobber all over my windows, and arm rests, and floors and Halo did an absolutely fantastic job getting rid of the dog messes. I got an exterior + interior detail on my Honda Civic for $185 (much cheaper than at the Honda dealership), and I am very pleased with the results. My interior was pretty gross after about 10 years without a deep clean, and now it's spotless! They even got a tough stain out of my passenger seat that had been there for years. They were prompt, courteous, and thorough. Booking was very easy, and I was able to book an appointment for the next day. I love how they come to you and were finished within 1.5 hours. I get my car detailed about twice a year but have struggled to find a place around Madison that provides a quality service and a good price. After a recommendation from a friend to try a mobile detailer I took to Yelp to find out which ones had the best reviews. Enter Halo Mobile Detailing. All I can say is WOW! I've never had such a great experience getting my car detailed. Harrison is super professional, on time and even honored a price he quoted me on the phone when my car was bigger than he thought (a Kia Sorento is a mid size SUV, in case anyone was wondering). Speaking of price, it was perfect, not outrageous, but way less than the quality of the service! I will definitely use Halo again and highly recommend having your car cleaned by Harrison! read more

I received a full interior detail from Halo. I went with this company, because of reading the reviews, which were mostly five stars. To be quite honest, I expected much more from this company. Their website was a bit glitchy when I tried to apply a discount they were offering, so I had to call to book the appointment. I chose to drop off the vehicle, rather than use the mobile service, and I had to call to find where the entrance to the building is, as they did not have a sign anywhere when I circled the block, and the sign on the warehouse door was for another organization. As per their website and the gentleman who helped me check-in the car that morning, the job should have taken no more than three hours. This was an average sized sedan that I prepped for the detailing by clearing out all visible personal junk and sweeping up the big dirt. I returned two hours and 45 minutes later, and was told that they were "finishing up". That was not the case. 45 minutes after that, they were still not finished with the vehicle. As we approached four hours, one of the crew asked me if I knew where my key was (the key I dropped off with them when I left the car), and asked if I saw it laying around anywhere on some tables that were set up in the warehouse. At this point I was very late to another appointment because of the job taking much longer than advertised, I was a little shocked that they had misplaced my key. One of the other crew, the man who I checked in with that morning had put the key in his pocket and left with it to another job. I had to wait another 20 minutes for him to return so I could leave. There were some spots missed as well. Not being nitpicky, as the car is seven years old I am aware that there are some stains that can't be lifted. What I am talking about are crumbs in the door storage area that I could pick up with my fingers and smudged streaks on the dash where cleaning had taken place. They put the rubber dash storage insert (that they removed and forgot to clean) in a bag with things that they found in the car in crevasses. I had to pull it out of the bag and remind them to clean it upon inspection. It just seemed like they finished up the car in a rush. I had a detail at a third of the price done last year with a different company and the car was sparkling clean with none of these missed spots. These are all things that really harm the reputation of a company's professionalism. Halo charges a premium price. I expect a premium service and nothing less. I bought this as a Christmas present to my wife, and though she was extremely grateful to have a clean car, I asked for her honest opinion on the job. When she drove it for the first time she also commented on some missed spots. To finish with a few positive things, the detail tech, Jeremy, was very kind and friendly. I left him a tip. I think they might have stacked too much on his plate that day, and I am sure that he was trying to do his best. Any stars given in this review are because of him, honestly. This isn't really a reflection on him, but more so the company itself. I enjoyed talking to him even though it was while waiting on my key to be returned from where it shouldn't have been. I don't believe the company lived up to its reputation, and I will be looking elsewhere for my next detail. read more

I am writing this review on behalf of Kay, my 82 year old grandmother. This was the first time she had used a professional car detailing service and the results blew her away. After many unsuccessful attempts at getting the thick layer of green pollen that we all know well here in Tennessee off her pickup truck via a traditional car wash, Kay was amazed that the simple application of a spray-on dissolver used by Halo melted it off in minutes. Her truck looks good as new, and Kay insists everyone "stops and stares" when she pulls up. Kay feels she is now the talk of the town thanks to your wonderful service!
