I have a double wide mobile home that is 50 years old with galvanized pipe so corroded that water could barely make it through ( and one line totally blocked). I got 5 bids to totally re-pipe and Halo was the second lowest. Bottom bid had some timing issues, and the top two were 3 times as much. Once selected, Halo started the job the next morning with one guy and said it would be complete that day. The other bids required 2-3 workers over multiple days. It did get done but took over 12 hours. Would have been less, but the guy needed to go out for parts 3 times. Would have expected the van to have adequate supplies. Lines all work really well now! Why not 5 stars? The basic plumbing was good, but finish work was lacking. The pipes coming out of the floor were not secured, just shoved the plex pipe through the floor and attached to the fixture. Bits and pieces of pipes and parts were left all over the yard. Worker was a smoker who left butts all over. Amending this review to 5 stars. When Halo read my review they were tripping over themselves to make it right, and make it right they did. Couldn't be more satisfied and they will be the first ones on my list for any additional work. Recommend highly and suggest if they don't do the work as you want it, let them know and I'm sure they'll do whatever it takes to make it right. read more

We're in Scottsdale, AZ. I don't usually write a review but we had such positive experiences, twice now, I had to provide feedback. Our faucet in the guest bathroom started seeping water. We tried to turn off the water but the turnoff valve under the sink snapped off causing a much bigger leak. We called a plumber we'd previously used explaining our situation but he was unavailable. He referred us to Halo plumbing. Alonzo came out, took apart the faucet showing us the problem. He not only fixed the faucet but replaced the turnoff valves in all our bathrooms with a higher quality valve. The ones our previous plumber installed are cheaper ones with plastic parts inside which is what snapped. While he was there I showed him another faucet he also fixed. A couple weeks later an outside hose faucet started leaking and spraying water. There was no way to turn it off because of where it was leaking. We called Halo again and Dan came to the rescue within an hour. Both Alonzo and Dan were professional, courteous and most of all knew what they were doing. We even got a Senior discount. We're hoping no more plumbing problems for awhile but we'll be sure to call Halo Plumbing next time. read more

Matt the owner did a phenomenal job in repairing the bathtub and sinks in our master bedroom of our house we just purchased but was built in 2004. The water in the north valley is very harsh and reeked havoc on our faucets and lines. He also installed a water softner and an R/O drinking water system as well as helped install a new sink in the kitchen. A few weeks later the water heater blew in the garage and the home warranty company wanted to get someone out in two days. TWO DAYS?!?!? We have three kids in diapers and two days was unacceptable. I called Matt and he had his right-hand guy at our house in under two hours and problem fixed that evening. Matt and his crew do astounding work at great rates. His craftsmanship is more like a work of art and he left my house with everything looking immaculate and tidy. This is the first time I have had this company to my home to fix anything and Rey was great. He worked late fixing my master toilet, replacing my kitchen faucet, and fixing various other things wrong with my kitchen sink. His work was above what I thought of as very good standards. He was very very friendly and really went out of his way to make sure everything was properly fixed. When he went to turn back on the water, after replacing the faucet, the control valve under the sink broke and water went everywhere in my kitchen and pantry. Rey used a sponge and bucket to clean up the water off the floor, I did get out my wet dry vacuum and told him not to worry about cleaning it up I could take care of it but he insisted on cleaning it up himself since the mess was made during the work he was doing. I was so surprised other companies that I have had fix issues in many other homes would never even offer to clean up anything, at least I was able to convince him to use my wet dry vac! I would definitely recommend this company and will be requesting Rey myself for further services! read more

What do you do when you have a flood? I was feeling the pressure to figure out a resolution. I had spoken to a few other plumbers and since each was insanely expensive, disinterested, or made it sound like it was "going to take some time", I began the job myself. A neighbor stopped by and suggested I call Halo, I told her what I had experienced, but I called anyway. I spoke right to a person, who asked if he could come by and look. So... He arrived early, was glad to discuss the matter and happy share his observations over the phone (I was at work by then). In my case, he was kind enough to offer excellent advice including a price that was completely within reason. I told him that I wanted to send him a tip for his honesty and for his time. He said that the bid is a free service and the only thing he asked was that, if I felt like it, I could share my experience. If I could give you 10 stars I would and I couldn't be more thankful for your quick, knowledgeable and professional service!! The water to my house was off because some other plumbing company tried to replace a shower cartridge and didn't know what they were doing and water was literally shooting out of the wall like a fire hose, and then basically gave up and left and told me it would be thousands of dollars to repair it. A friend recommended Halo and I spoke with Matt, and he sent out a tech (Neil) within the hour and fixed my shower and got the water turned back on, and it could not been a more positive experience! I've used Halo Plumbing a couple of times now. This last time I had an exterior hose bib that was leaking profusely and no longer reparable, but was soldered w/in the wall. Fearing I'd set the house on fire if I tried to take care of it, I called Halo again. Same day appointment, Cody was there right on time and gave me several options that were free of charge. Even discussed some workarounds with me in case I didn't want to spend the $$ right now. In the end, I wanted to get it done right and extend everything out further with a nicer valve. He got it done in now time. If you want a no pressure company that can tackle both big and small (like this) jobs these guys are the ones to call. Danny O. Had come to my residence in regards to issues with my kitchen sink and garbage disposal, he was on time, friendly courteous and professional. Answered all my questions and appeared to be very knowledgeable in regards to his profession. He went above and beyond when he found important papers including several checks totaling several hundred dollars payable to my sons company in the street in front of my house. They apparently came out of my sons binder unbeknownst to either of us. Danny was unaware of who they belonged to and subsequently Googled Translucent Pools to ensure they were returned to the proper company. My friend recommended Halo because she's been using them for awhile. They did not disappoint. I called for my Dad and they were able to get there the next morning, when they said they would. My Dad was extremely happy with the service and with the plumber who came out. He was a genuinely nice person as well as a good plumber. My Dad needed a new faucet put in....the old one was quite corroded. Also needed angle stops replaced. The charge was just about exactly what was quoted ($50 less than some guy in the neighborhood wanted to charge) and he even had to go get something at the store during the visit. No extra charge. So I just have to say Thank you whole heartedly to Matt and his crew. I was a little tight on money and called another company to fix a leaking pipe in my upstairs bathroom. I recently went through some troubling plumbing issues. Long story short, APS had installed a utility pole in my back yard and cracked my clay sewer line from alley during the installation. On Saturday when I had black water coming up into my shower and tub I reached out to my neighbor who recommended Halo Plumbing, Dan Landeros. Halo saved my neighbor several thousands of dollars that another plumber wanted to charge. Well after almost 3 days of working through the problem Halo diagnosed the issue worked with APS and my contact for APS to fix that pipe line and was so gracious and nice during the entire episode that I am eternally grateful for good companies such as Halo. Here at the University of Phoenix Stadium, we at Rojo Hospitality rely on our in house plumber for repairs, but when the work load increases and events schedule last minute we rely on Halo Plumbing. Halo has made multiple repairs here and everytime has wowed us, everything from their knowledgeable technicians, fair pricing, and hard work. Recently we had a sewer line that was broken preventing us from continuing with our kitchens heavy work load and needed a repair fast. Halo accommodated our schedule, came in extra early and finished before we opened at 9am. Jeff was meticulous and thorough, he worked hard to figure out a complicated situation - the previous owner left us a crazy nest of interconnected pipes, which two other plumbers had already refused to sort out - and he went out of his way to help us understand our setup and our options for making changes. I have been using Halo since 2008 and they always beat my expectations. When I began using them I worked at the Arizona Biltmore Resort and Spa. This Resort is over 90 years old now and you can only imagine the plumbing nightmares that we encountered at a property of that age. Halo just finished a major job at my home. It involved excavating outside to access the main sewer line. They then cleaned the line from that point and then also used the roof vent to clean it out from that point. Also new surface sewer cleanouts were installed. Video was provided to show the work. The job came in exactly as estimated and completed in the time they promised. Big shout out to Mike who was fantastic to work with from the initial estimate to completing the job. Both times have been after hours and they have been quick to get to my home, professional, up front about cost, and have gone above and beyond what we've asked of them.
