Both my RO system and 3-filter house system were doing their jobs. BTW, I live in peoria where the water is hard, but not as bad as some parts of AZ. For anyone considering the system, which can seem a but pricey, I say without a doubt it's worth it! I've grown so accustomed to the great water at home, whenever I go someplace else to shower (especially hotels), I can now smell the chlorine in the water (gross). Before buying, I did a ton of research and looked at a few other systems, and I'm glad I landed with Puragain.

EASILY my favorite company I've ever done business with in the Valley!…read more I had a unique situation with getting a two stage whole home water filtration system added to my existing salt water softener. Brian was so knowledgeable and passionate when he came out to talk about my home's existing plumbing. When we bought the house in 2022, it was called out on our inspection report that the polyethylene piping from the main to our home should be replaced. After talking with Brian, I felt so good getting CWS to replace and redo the poly with good old copper. Michael came out a few days later and did a beautiful job installing all the copper plumbing and two stage water filtration system that includes the water pressure gauges and bypass valves (which are great to have for servicing and/or if something bad happens in the future). I highly recommend everyone get the psi pressure gauges installed ESPECIALLY with the valley having higher water pressure right now with the ongoing construction needs (which I'll talk about next). After Michael completed his job, the city of Phoenix replaced my water meter. Turns out my old water meter near the street had a leak to it. Once the water meter was replaced I noticed the psi on the gauges climbed to 100-110 (depending upon time of day). For those that don't know, plumbing likes to be in the 50-70 psi range. Anything above 90 and you should really get a plumber out to look at your pressure reducing valve (PRV). While my pressure was high, I noticed my backyard irrigation system was EXTREMELY powerful! The way the water from the main gets teed off between inside of my house and backyard pool + irrigation needs, it was obvious city of Phoenix replacing water meter was the culprit. Whenever a water meter gets replaced, they don't do a good job keeping it clean installing it where sediment will often get into the line and cause PRVs to fail. That's what happened with mine where CWS came out the next day and replaced both of my PRVs with Kyle doing a great job as well. Now, my water pressure is sitting nicely at 70 psi. I like my pressure on the higher side of that 50-70psi Lofty review but I really loved having this company update my plumbing and install the whole home 20" big blue water filtration system! They really do care about customers AND the work they do. There's a VERY GOOD reason their reviews are 5/5 on Google and Yelp! Can't beat their prices too that are VERY transparent! Great payment options and warranty as well! Also, I like the products they use since it's NOT relegated to a single manufacturer. Will recommend them to everyone.

They list their base prices on their website and they also came and did a quote in person so I knew ahead of time what the final estimated price would be. I was nervous to allow someone to drill into my quartz counter top but it was drilled with precision and craftsmanship; this was for the RO faucet. The tech was professional, friendly, and involved me in the installation process. He also was around after installation to answer questions. All in all I am satisfied with the price, product, clear communication, and customer service. If you want an RO in your house because you are tired of gross tap water, let this company give you a quote. Don't get ripped off by other companies that will charge double for their "proprietary" product.

I received several responses with quotes, and Desert Water Plumbing and Rooter was the first company to reach out. I contacted them around 5 PM on Wednesday, and they were able to schedule a free estimate for Friday. Dan Burke showed up right on time. He was professional, efficient, and easy to talk to. Like the other companies I spoke with, he recommended repiping as the best solution for the long run. He gave me an estimate for the project and also mentioned that if the office couldn't schedule the repair on Monday, he could stop by to do a quick temporary fix to stop the leak and then come back when they could finish the job. I really appreciated that because I don't like wasting water. The price Dan quoted was also very reasonable compared to the other companies. After thinking it over, I decided to go with Desert Water Plumbing and Rooter and called the office to schedule the appointment. They weren't able to do the repipe on Monday but scheduled it for Tuesday. Dan did come by on Monday to help temporarily stop the leak. Then he and his team came back Tuesday morning and started the project. Everything went smoothly. My house now has a new pipe, no more leaking, and it feels great knowing the issue is fixed. So, I was getting a new dryer and decided it would be a good time to clean out my dryer lint vent…read more I ordered a kit with a round brush and some flexible rods that you attach to a drill and feed through the vent to clean out the lint. Sounds simple enough, right? So the flexible rods that screw together unfortunately separate while I'm using the drill and the brush and several of the rods are stuck inside the duct. I watch a YouTube video explaining how to remove it (it apparently happens frequently) by buying additional rods and attaching a "corkscrew" made from a wire hanger which you feed into the duct by hand to hopefully "grab" onto the brush and pull it out. You guessed it, that got stuck too. I called King Air Duct Cleaning and Lance (the owner) assured me that he understood the issue and he would be able to squeeze me in so I could start using my new dryer. Lance was here this morning and he was amazing. Within 20 minutes he had both of the pieces removed from the duct and all of the built-up lint cleared. Then he hooked up my new dryer, tested the airflow and assured me everything was good to go! And the cost was about 1/3 of what I thought it would be! Highly recommended!!!

Michael and Ana at Element Plumbing are the best!! We needed a plumber to install our kitchen faucet and disposal after we had a new counter-top and sink installed. We contacted a 1/2 dozen plumbers through Yelp and Angie's List and Element Plumbing was the only one that responded within 10 minutes of requesting a quote. The others didn't respond, or wanted to come out and charge $67 dollars non-refundable for only a quote, or came out and quoted a fortune for some simple repairs. Michael took the time to respond to my multiple emails and very timely too. Ana was very helpful with scheduling and when there was a snag with our timeline, they stepped up and accommodated us on their day off, so we didn't have to wait weeks to get the install done. Efficient, professional, dependable, Michael and Ana did a great job and were extremely pleasant to work with. We appreciated them going above and beyond to help us. This is my first review ever but I want everyone to know how great Element is! We got same day service to diagnose our leaking water heater problem and two days later it was installed with late night hours and no discussion of extra charges due to long hours on a weekend. Not only did he replace the tank, he improved our plumbing to decrease the time required to get hot water upstairs. He answered all of our questions with patience and detailed information including how to DIY the annual maintenance (for tankless) and future repairs. I was optimistic about this company because of good reviews on Google and Yelp and Nextdoor. While…read morethe cause of my leak seems to be resolved (at least for now) it did bother me that I took the time to ask several times with the dispatcher "Taneea"(sp) and she said there was no fee to diagnose and I kept asking are you sure because in order to see where the leak is coming from my bathroom upstairs from the shower and where it settling we need to look at the pipes underneath where the drywall is and that involves cutting the ceiling drywall. And I asked her again several times if there's any charge for leak tracing or anything she was leaving out just to look and see before repairing and she said no, there's no diagnostic charge. They get here and tell me it's gonna be $125 just to cut the drywall and I just don't understand how there can be such a disparity between what I verified by phone and what I was being told now. And even if I give them the benefit of the doubt that the dispatcher was mistaken (though that's something very strange for a dispatcher who works for and represents a company to say, if not true) the fact that she did tell me that clearly, you would think to keep a customer they would stand by their own word, so not a great first impression. I still paid them $455 to change the cartridge in my shower, but they would not take five or ten minutes to cut up two 6"x6" holes in the drywall and look inside to see if there's any other extensive damage or leaking. I may just leave it for now and keep an eye for any signs of staining or moisture rather than deal with drywall repair. I still will inspect around the electrical where the ceiling fan canopy is and remove it from the ceiling to see if there's any water damage to the fan and light fixture or if it can be salvaged and still works once all is dry and I can restore power to the room. But they refused to look for any signs below to ensure there were no other signs of a leak unless I paid more. Another thing is with a large hole behind the shower faucet escutcheon where the leak occurred what's to keep another cartridge from failing and leaking right down into the room below and getting into the electrical and drywall and ruining another ceiling fan? I wish they'd have taken the time to tell me how to seal off that wall behind the faucet handle or given me suggestions but they just kind of did their job and left. They didn't offer me any advice or tips to prevent this again or set my mind at ease, and taking the time to do that would have made me feel more "taken care of" and built a rapport as a new customer. They just wanted to do the job I asked and go. So while I have no other complaints so far, they didn't go the extra mile or make me feel reassured at all for such a serious issue. It was just a "job" to cross of their list and not spend a second longer than necessary to show, discuss or reassure.

I received several responses with quotes, and Desert Water Plumbing and Rooter was the first company to reach out. I contacted them around 5 PM on Wednesday, and they were able to schedule a free estimate for Friday. Dan Burke showed up right on time. He was professional, efficient, and easy to talk to. Like the other companies I spoke with, he recommended repiping as the best solution for the long run. He gave me an estimate for the project and also mentioned that if the office couldn't schedule the repair on Monday, he could stop by to do a quick temporary fix to stop the leak and then come back when they could finish the job. I really appreciated that because I don't like wasting water. The price Dan quoted was also very reasonable compared to the other companies. After thinking it over, I decided to go with Desert Water Plumbing and Rooter and called the office to schedule the appointment. They weren't able to do the repipe on Monday but scheduled it for Tuesday. Dan did come by on Monday to help temporarily stop the leak. Then he and his team came back Tuesday morning and started the project. Everything went smoothly. My house now has a new pipe, no more leaking, and it feels great knowing the issue is fixed. One of those challenges is not having access to indoor laundry (you either find it in the garage or like the house I purchased, in a storage room off the carport). The good news was when I saw the home I immediately knew I could frame a door from the inside of the house to access the room. The bad news is all of the plumbing for sewage, washer, and water heater were on the same wall where I needed to put my door. What does that mean? In order for me to do what I want to do I need to move all of the plumbing to the opposite end of the unfinished storage room. Enter the team at Doctor Drain. Showed up to give me a quote and explained step by step what it would take to get the job done. Newer construction they could've ran lines in the walls, but since this room was built with 2x4s the only option was to cut into the foundation, run new lines in the ground to the opposite end of the room, move the plumbing down for the water heater and then backfill the plumbing with concrete. I even had them go ahead and add a plumbing connection for a water softener in case I want to have one in the future. The team showed up in a timely manner, kept me in the loop if they needed to get something, worked with scheduling accommodations and at the end of the day helped me achieve the vision I had for the room. Their only concern (which was nothing for me) is that when they poured concrete after the lines were set they don't do any type of texture or design like a mason worker may do. Since I was going to have the flooring in that room match the rest of the house I didn't care and it wasn't a concern for me. I WILL be hiring them again when it's time for me to do my home addition for a master bathroom and if there is any type of plumbing work you need done get these guys on your job.

I have had 2 hot water heaters installed with them and have been very pleased with the installations in both. I had a Bradford White water heater installed by them in 2018. And while I have seen many statements saying they are the best in the industry, was disappointed when in failed after only 8 years. I was told by them, that this was pretty normal for water heaters. I have been around for many years and in my experiences, the Bradford White lasted about half as long as all other water heaters I have owned. In, addition, the installation and warranty costs about 4x the cost of the heater, so I felt that this was a lot of expense for such a short lifespan. I was still suffering from sticker shock when my Bradford White failed. I called Benjamin Franklin hoping I could get some warranty compensation. Wouldn't you know, the warranty had just expired. Ugh! Okay, one of the things that Benjamin Franklin is very good at is fast service. They were out at my house the same day. Kudos for that! This time I was told that I would get better longevity and a better warranty with a Navien tankless unit. I had always wanted to try one of these. They are supposed to be more efficient as well because they don't have to keep 50 gallons of water hot. Okay, they had my ear, but again, the unit was terribly expensive; a little more than 4x the cost of the $2,000.00 unit. That includes the service calls to clean the unit once/year for the 10 year warranty term. This is required to keep from voiding the warranty and important with these units. The installation was done in one long day. The tech was here until about 8pm, but did a very nice job. Last, I expressed my concern to the tech. that sold the unit to me, about the cost of the tankless unit, he told me that there were federal incentives and Mfr. rebates that would help. After the installation, I contacted the Mfr. and was told that there were no rebates or incentives for 2026. Seems Benjamin Franklin should have known this. Professional work, super-fast service, but really expensive.
