We had an unexpected plumbing emergency with water coming through our downstairs ceiling from our upstairs shower, and he was at our house in less than an hour. Tim quickly diagnosed the problem, explained what was going on, and had the repair taken care of right away. He even connected us with a water restoration company, who was able to come out the same day to address the water damage. On top of the incredible response time and service, his pricing was extremely affordable -- honestly much less than I expected for an emergency call with such a fast turnaround. Having water suddenly coming through your ceiling is incredibly stressful, and Tim made the whole situation feel manageable from the moment he arrived. I was optimistic about this company because of good reviews on Google and Yelp and Nextdoor. While the cause of my leak seems to be resolved (at least for now) it did bother me that I took the time to ask several times with the dispatcher "Taneea"(sp) and she said there was no fee to diagnose and I kept asking are you sure because in order to see where the leak is coming from my bathroom upstairs from the shower and where it settling we need to look at the pipes underneath where the drywall is and that involves cutting the ceiling drywall. And I asked her again several times if there's any charge for leak tracing or anything she was leaving out just to look and see before repairing and she said no, there's no diagnostic charge. They get here and tell me it's gonna be $125 just to cut the drywall and I just don't understand how there can be such a disparity between what I verified by phone and what I was being told now. And even if I give them the benefit of the doubt that the dispatcher was mistaken (though that's something very strange for a dispatcher who works for and represents a company to say, if not true) the fact that she did tell me that clearly, you would think to keep a customer they would stand by their own word, so not a great first impression. I still paid them $455 to change the cartridge in my shower, but they would not take five or ten minutes to cut up two 6"x6" holes in the drywall and look inside to see if there's any other extensive damage or leaking. I may just leave it for now and keep an eye for any signs of staining or moisture rather than deal with drywall repair. I still will inspect around the electrical where the ceiling fan canopy is and remove it from the ceiling to see if there's any water damage to the fan and light fixture or if it can be salvaged and still works once all is dry and I can restore power to the room. But they refused to look for any signs below to ensure there were no other signs of a leak unless I paid more. Another thing is with a large hole behind the shower faucet escutcheon where the leak occurred what's to keep another cartridge from failing and leaking right down into the room below and getting into the electrical and drywall and ruining another ceiling fan? I wish they'd have taken the time to tell me how to seal off that wall behind the faucet handle or given me suggestions but they just kind of did their job and left. They didn't offer me any advice or tips to prevent this again or set my mind at ease, and taking the time to do that would have made me feel more "taken care of" and built a rapport as a new customer. They just wanted to do the job I asked and go. So while I have no other complaints so far, they didn't go the extra mile or make me feel reassured at all for such a serious issue. It was just a "job" to cross of their list and not spend a second longer than necessary to show, discuss or reassure. read more

I've called 100% Plumbing a few times over the years. Two of the times they didn't even charge me. Told me what I had was what he used at home and not cheaply made like I was told by someone else. When I've needed something done, they were able to fit me in and although I don't find them inexpensive, I find them fair. I purchased a Moen Flo which prevents water damage to the home and had them install it for me. (You need to cut pipe and attach it to the line. ). A few years later it needs cleaning according to what the info online says. Thus they are on their way to fix it. My understanding from a YouTube is that you have to drain the water from the house and detach and clean the Moen Flo. It looks like something someone can dyi but I'd like to see the steps since I don't want a problem. read more

Superb assessment, selection and installation of new 29 gal hot water heater to replace 30 gal hot water heater installed twenty years ago. Mike knew what he was talking about compared to 4 other estimates. Mike answered all my questions, offered insight and did a great installation. He drained and replaced the old tank, both water lines, valve replaced, new gas flex line and added trap per code, upgraded drain valve to brass larger diameter and easy hose connector, hauled away old tank and kept the floors clean. Mckinley worked out a fair price with a discount for everything. 100% Plumbing cost a little bit more and is worth it to me. Parts warranty is two years compared to others for1 year. Mixed feelings. The biggest positive would be their quick communication and availability. Now why I said "mixed feelings": I picked this company based on the reviews. I had seen a crack in the wall that appeared to possibly be due to water damage, I wasn't sure. So I called this company to take a look to see if there was any evidence of a possible leak. The first guy came, spent about 2 minutes in my home, GLANCED at the area and then said he thought it was "just the house settling and paint peeling" (my house is 8 years old), as there wasn't any visible water anywhere around the cracked wall. It didn't make sense because of how bad the cracks looked and it looked like the wood beam or wall was a little swollen. They didn't use any tools or meters to check for moisture or anything, he didn't even inspect around the area, he just suggested randomly tearing down around the area without knowing if it was really due to a leak or not or even giving me any info on what his thoughts were on what else it could be, so I was hesitant to do that. So he referred me to Rocky Mountain Restoration (RMR) to have another inspection and second opinion because he said they would have tools to help with a better inspection without having to tear down everything. So I called RMR right after the plumber left, and they sent someone out, who did have better insight and spent an hour inspecting the area, but they ended up being scam company who didn't even do a complete job. I digress- anyway, Rocky Mountain DID find a water leak (which you'd think, the plumber should have found right?). So I called back this company to come out and fix the leak. A different plumber came out- he was nice, still also did a "first glance" type of deal and almost fixed the wrong part until I had questioned him and he took a deeper look then found the actual source. He did the repair fine, although he also left a huge dusty mess everywhere and didn't clean it up. I would be VERY careful using this company- they don't do thorough inspections, and they also contract with a terrible company like Rocky Mountain, who is even WORSE and just out to get your money (I will be writing a separate review for them). read more

I called 100% Plumbing to check for a possible exterior drain leak. After receiving a text that they were en route, they arrived promptly as scheduled and began their inspection. After digging a rather deep hole and having me run water in my shower for several minutes I was surprised (and pleased) to hear that there was not a leak. The water I'd noticed was a result of my neighbor flooding my yard accidentally. They restored the soil and rock in the dig area and it's not even noticeable. Excellent work ethic and surprise! My tankless water heater stopped working a few days before Thanksgiving with a house full of guests. 100% Plumbing sent a team to diagnose the problem on a Friday evening and then sent another team Saturday morning to complete the system check. They diagnosed a problem that had probably been festering for months as our hot water had been acting up intermittently but whenever we called other plumbers they never took the time to fully access the issue. I was not familiar with 100% Plumbing, but it showed their location close to my house on Yelp, and their reviews were mostly positive. I took a shot, scheduled my appointment online next day between 7-9am, uploaded a photo of the problem, and quickly received both an email and text confirming the appointment. In the morning, I received another text stating Mike was on his way. It included a photo to identify him. Mike arrived, I showed him the issue, and he explained what would need to be done to fix it. I asked some follow up/additional questions which he didn't hesitate to answer, which I appreciated. Provided up front pricing and got to work. It took about an hour to replace the Water Main Line into the house. The soldering job looks great, no more leak. He verified the water pressure in the house was back up to a good pressure for the faucets etc... Showed me with the gauge with the current water pressure. Job done.
