David from Nothing But Water Heaters called and asked for some photos. I sent the photos and David provided a quote via text message. On the day of the replacement, David, arrived right at the beginning of the estimated window (how often does that happen?) and completed the water heater replacement in just about an hour. While working on my water heater he was talking with another potential client and I was impressed that he was honest and upfront about his recommendation for replacing a solar/electric water heater system, and the pros/cons of what he was suggesting. I would absolutely recommend Nothing But Water Heaters for any kind of water heater issues.

While…read morethe cause of my leak seems to be resolved (at least for now) it did bother me that I took the time to ask several times with the dispatcher "Taneea"(sp) and she said there was no fee to diagnose and I kept asking are you sure because in order to see where the leak is coming from my bathroom upstairs from the shower and where it settling we need to look at the pipes underneath where the drywall is and that involves cutting the ceiling drywall. And I asked her again several times if there's any charge for leak tracing or anything she was leaving out just to look and see before repairing and she said no, there's no diagnostic charge. They get here and tell me it's gonna be $125 just to cut the drywall and I just don't understand how there can be such a disparity between what I verified by phone and what I was being told now. And even if I give them the benefit of the doubt that the dispatcher was mistaken (though that's something very strange for a dispatcher who works for and represents a company to say, if not true) the fact that she did tell me that clearly, you would think to keep a customer they would stand by their own word, so not a great first impression. I still paid them $455 to change the cartridge in my shower, but they would not take five or ten minutes to cut up two 6"x6" holes in the drywall and look inside to see if there's any other extensive damage or leaking. I may just leave it for now and keep an eye for any signs of staining or moisture rather than deal with drywall repair. I still will inspect around the electrical where the ceiling fan canopy is and remove it from the ceiling to see if there's any water damage to the fan and light fixture or if it can be salvaged and still works once all is dry and I can restore power to the room. But they refused to look for any signs below to ensure there were no other signs of a leak unless I paid more. Another thing is with a large hole behind the shower faucet escutcheon where the leak occurred what's to keep another cartridge from failing and leaking right down into the room below and getting into the electrical and drywall and ruining another ceiling fan? I wish they'd have taken the time to tell me how to seal off that wall behind the faucet handle or given me suggestions but they just kind of did their job and left. They didn't offer me any advice or tips to prevent this again or set my mind at ease, and taking the time to do that would have made me feel more "taken care of" and built a rapport as a new customer. They just wanted to do the job I asked and go. So while I have no other complaints so far, they didn't go the extra mile or make me feel reassured at all for such a serious issue. It was just a "job" to cross of their list and not spend a second longer than necessary to show, discuss or reassure.

I received several responses with quotes, and Desert Water Plumbing and Rooter was the first company to reach out. I contacted them around 5 PM on Wednesday, and they were able to schedule a free estimate for Friday. Dan Burke showed up right on time. He was professional, efficient, and easy to talk to. Like the other companies I spoke with, he recommended repiping as the best solution for the long run. He gave me an estimate for the project and also mentioned that if the office couldn't schedule the repair on Monday, he could stop by to do a quick temporary fix to stop the leak and then come back when they could finish the job. I really appreciated that because I don't like wasting water. The price Dan quoted was also very reasonable compared to the other companies. After thinking it over, I decided to go with Desert Water Plumbing and Rooter and called the office to schedule the appointment. They weren't able to do the repipe on Monday but scheduled it for Tuesday. Dan did come by on Monday to help temporarily stop the leak. Then he and his team came back Tuesday morning and started the project. Everything went smoothly. My house now has a new pipe, no more leaking, and it feels great knowing the issue is fixed. When I called back to say no one had come I was put on hold, and the reps seemed unsurprised and indifferent. In the end, I waited 7 hours and felt I'd been misled simply to get the gig; with more information, I'd have shopped around and found someone who could keep their word. He had me go to Lowes (online) and order the replacement unit, so I wasn't paying a markup from the installer. He picked up the unit from Lowes and just charged for the install. The advantage in this is you can chose the unit you want by quality and price. Units with longer warranties will cost more, probable between 6 to 12 years, so you get to decide what best for you without a installer charging a big markup. I was able to was my military discount for 10 % off. Another advantage is you are the one purchasing the unit. If there is a problem with the unit in the future you can go back to the manufacturer or Lowes (who I have found to be very good at backing up their sales). If your installer provides the unit he may not be in business in 9 to 10 years. Install was completed quickly. I had three other quotes before calling Gabe. Working with One Shot was 20% less then the next lowest bid and half the price of the highest bid. Will use them again for any plumbing issues.

EASILY my favorite company I've ever done business with in the Valley!…read more I had a unique situation with getting a two stage whole home water filtration system added to my existing salt water softener. Brian was so knowledgeable and passionate when he came out to talk about my home's existing plumbing. When we bought the house in 2022, it was called out on our inspection report that the polyethylene piping from the main to our home should be replaced. After talking with Brian, I felt so good getting CWS to replace and redo the poly with good old copper. Michael came out a few days later and did a beautiful job installing all the copper plumbing and two stage water filtration system that includes the water pressure gauges and bypass valves (which are great to have for servicing and/or if something bad happens in the future). I highly recommend everyone get the psi pressure gauges installed ESPECIALLY with the valley having higher water pressure right now with the ongoing construction needs (which I'll talk about next). After Michael completed his job, the city of Phoenix replaced my water meter. Turns out my old water meter near the street had a leak to it. Once the water meter was replaced I noticed the psi on the gauges climbed to 100-110 (depending upon time of day). For those that don't know, plumbing likes to be in the 50-70 psi range. Anything above 90 and you should really get a plumber out to look at your pressure reducing valve (PRV). While my pressure was high, I noticed my backyard irrigation system was EXTREMELY powerful! The way the water from the main gets teed off between inside of my house and backyard pool + irrigation needs, it was obvious city of Phoenix replacing water meter was the culprit. Whenever a water meter gets replaced, they don't do a good job keeping it clean installing it where sediment will often get into the line and cause PRVs to fail. That's what happened with mine where CWS came out the next day and replaced both of my PRVs with Kyle doing a great job as well. Now, my water pressure is sitting nicely at 70 psi. I like my pressure on the higher side of that 50-70psi Lofty review but I really loved having this company update my plumbing and install the whole home 20" big blue water filtration system! They really do care about customers AND the work they do. There's a VERY GOOD reason their reviews are 5/5 on Google and Yelp! Can't beat their prices too that are VERY transparent! Great payment options and warranty as well! Also, I like the products they use since it's NOT relegated to a single manufacturer. Will recommend them to everyone.

Update: The owner of The Plumber Guy published lies about me in his replies to my reviews that only the most black-hearted liars would come up with. Some, but not all, are in his reply here. I could have accepted a disagreement in perception, but to use the abhorrent accusations that he did, proves he's the sc.um of his industry. He is, by far, the most despicable lying sp.ineless c0w@rd I've ever had the displeasure of coming across. He brags about having an MBA, but is ign0rant enough to publicly write lies that he knows I can disprove with copies of emails and texts, and the recordings I have of our conversations. I CONSULTED WITH AN ATTORNEY who talked me out of my 1st step being to file a claim/suit against that owner. That owner will be receiving a cease-and-desist letter (screenshots attached). I don't think his ego will allow him to accept defeat because he told me he never does. If he ignores the letter, I'll file a complaint with the AZ Attorney General for violation of the Elder Abuse Act based on some of the despicable and brutal age-focused insults and threats in his texts and emails. I've spent my entire life cultivating and protecting an honorable reputation. But this owner lacks any honor. The lies he wrote publicly were vile, offensive, and insulting. I've spent decades working with all trades for affluent customers. The Plumber Guy is THE WORST subcontractor or vendor I've ever come across. And I've dealt with hundreds over more than 3 decades. If anybody publicly criticizes this review, more than likely they work at The Plumber Guy. Without a clear admission that he lied in his replies, and a sincere apology, I'll continue seek justice for the defamation and the violation of the Elder Abuse Statute. I'm a 64-year-old partially disabled man, and this owner wants to "settle it like men". What a bully. Unfortunately for him, I've been standing up to and battling bullies all my life. I might not be able to physically battle them anymore, but my passion to squash those bugs hasn't diminished. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------- I attached some of the texts I got from the owner...WOW! The Plumber Guy sent Jaraldo Newland to redo our new main water supply line yesterday 7/19. Jaraldo arrived yesterday early morning with another young guy. Before they started to work, we ran the sprinkler system. It ran good, and had water in the front yard and back yard. When the young guy dug a hole in our front yard, he broke the sprinkler line on the gate side of our front yard. They replaced our front shutoff valve, but our sprinkler siphon valve no longer works. We now have no water to our front and back yards. They fillled in our yard they dug up, but just shoveled dirt and rock together. The result was dirt and rock on the bottom, with giant dirt chunks on top of the rock. When my husband asked them to fix this, they said they're not landscapers. Then they threatened to remove everything they put in unless they were paid. After my husband called the home office to speak to their manager, they left at 2:30pm unpaid until they fix the mess in our front yard and repair our damaged sprinkler system. It's 9:44am now, we are still waiting for the manager and owner to get back to us. The owner contacted us back a few hours later, with some big pieces mud on the top of the ground, mixing the mud and rocks together, please see the attached before and after pictures, he is still saying his guys put everything back carefully, the yard looks good, unbelievable. Don't know what he is thinking about making our sprinkler system not have any water coming out after they redo our water main supply line. Watch out, do not use this company. read more

I highly recommend this company over any big name plumber company. My laundry room drain was backing up and overflowing with water, so I needed help quickly. After doing my research, I decided to call The Plumber Guy and was immediately impressed by the service. When I called, I spoke with Michaela, who was friendly, professional, and made the scheduling process easy. She was able to get Daniel out to my home the very next day. Daniel was extremely knowledgeable and took the time to walk me through the issue and explain my options. He performed a camera inspection and showed me exactly why the pipe was backing up, which I really appreciated. There was no pressure--just honest recommendations and excellent customer service. After reviewing the options, I chose to have the line hydro jetted. Cooper and his assistant, Quin, came out later that same day to complete the work. Both were professional, courteous, and thorough. They did an excellent job clearing the line and provided footage of both the problem and the completed work, giving me confidence that the issue was properly resolved. From start to finish, every person I interacted with was respectful of my property, professional, and genuinely committed to providing high-quality service. I called them at 7pm on a Thursday and they had a technician at the house by 9:30am on Friday. Such an impressive turn around time and outstanding communication. They called and texted when the tech was in route. The tech was able to assess the situation and do the work right then and there. We live in a new home that was built in 2021. Recently, we found a leak in the outdoor water pipe. We called Near Me Plumbing and they were quick to send a knowledgeable professional plumber (Quintin) to our home that same afternoon. Quintin assessed the problem and provided an initial solution, as well as a more comprehensive solution. He gave us price quotes for both solutions and we chose the comprehensive solution, which involved the installation of copper piping (see photo). Since it was very late in the day, we decided to schedule the work on a later date. Quintin sent us a formal job estimate later that evening. We approved the estimate, made the appointment, and Quintin returned to do the job efficiently and professionally. The entire experience was exceptional, surpassed ALL expectations, and I am very happy to have found a plumbing service company with such high standards.
