He called almost every time we were in the building, I'm sure he wants to make sure things are running smoothly, but dang the whole place freezes in fear when the phone rings. I didn't fall off at all, but if you do, a potentially long walk awaits you to get back to the launch station. NOTE: Beginners should have good core and upper body strength. Some friends had trouble staying on the tow line due to the speed and jerky turns. I lift weights daily and do advanced hot yoga which really helped. You will get tired and need to take breaks too, they have a nice patio area for that. All in all, I'll be back and up for trying full wakeboarding next time. It's a cheap, fun (if you can stay up/hang on), and unique experience!

They "assessed" kids, but they did not teach at all, they just entered notes on their tablets. What good is an assessment without teaching? Most of the time, they were just walking around. Only 1 instructor went around and talked to *a few* kids, showed them a little. This is not a class, this in an indoor playground. Most of the positive reviews are about birthday parties, not from people looking to have their kids learn gymnastics, and get better at it.

Signup was easy, a quick call to Steve and youre on the books. All forms are online to easily sign. Highly recommend a class! Heck, I might even take one as an adult.

A working farm and store, open to public tours and events…read more We attended a wedding reception at Gorman Heritage Farm just north of Cincinnati, and we loved the farm! There are animals to visit and a small store with eggs, honey, produce, pasture-raised chicken, other local foods, fresh-cut flowers, and various books, clothing, and merchandise. For our event, they put up a huge tent, so we had breezy shaded dining. This was next to another covered structure, for a breezy shaded dance-floor. And there was a food-truck bar as well. In all, a clever use of their space for a fun comfortable event. We had access to their farm for self-tours, and i think there were guided tours and feedings, too, but we walked ourselves among and petted and brushed and fed the humped mini "zebu" steer, non-wooly Katahdin sheep, goats, mini horses, a mini donkey, mules, about six of rabbits of different kinds, and chickens. And beehives! We were there for a special event. The Gorman Heritage Farm is open to the public Mon-Sat for under $8 per person. Come see fun farm animals and products!

During this, I couldn't see anything and was sexually assaulted by multiple people. All I could do was swat the hands off of me. We were told to be completely silent under the house because it was a scene where the police asked the people living there if they had seen any escaped slaves. It was the perfect storm to sexually assault somebody and nobody will ever know who did it. I was 13. I feel like my teachers and the employees failed me. I'm 26 now and I've carried it with me all of these years. If they are still doing these field trips, I really hope they added a light under the house, even if it's dim lights so that you can see what's happening around you, or cancelled that part altogether. I hope it hasn't happened to other little girls.

This rec center is an absolute beast. As someone who loves to work out at recreation centers and…read morehas been to many throughout her life, this one takes the cake as one of the cleanest, most modern, and largest. It has an indoor fitness pool, an outdoor pool (looks like mostly designed for families with kids), an ice skating rink, a huge weight lifting and cardio machine area, multiple group fitness rooms, and a full-sized basketball court (that they use temporary drapes to turn into multiple courts for pickelball or pick-up basketball). There's probably more I'm missing. I've never actually walked through the entire place. They have a ton of community and fitness programming for the area. From 8 to noon then 4 to 9 most evenings, they have different fitness classes going on. They aren't just your basics either. They have enough TRX bands to support TRX classes or some of their strength-based classes use workout areas they've had installed. They have lots of spinning bikes and classes the support them. I've never actually encountered any machine or part of the fitness center that didn't work. Everything is well-maintained, and I've never even encountered an empty cleaning spray bottle before. The biggest "issue" I've had is when the water tastes a bit off because the red-light says the filter needs to be replaced on the water fountain. Prices aren't cheap, but they aren't expensive either. When a yoga class elsewhere will cost me $40, it's only $11 here at Kettering. If you get one of their multi-class passes or a membership, it's even cheaper on a per-class basis. They have lots of kids camps and kids activities including some homeschooling group play classes and more. I haven't paid much attention to the kid things, but I know they have some! Great spread of bodies and ages here too. You'll mostly see older adults, and it's really refreshing to see a ton of different types of people instead of the college-aged adults. Everyone here is super friendly, and it's clear a lot of the community uses this place as a great place to see and hang out with friends while staying active. Huge parking lot, but if there's a lot going on (like a kid's hockey meet), there have been a few times I've been unable to find a single parking spot in this beast of a parking lot. Bathrooms are clean too.
