It has no tennis court but you can head across the street to San Carlo Park for one. It also has restrooms but it looks like you need a key or code. Parking for visitors is available only on the west section. There were only a few people at the time. The west section is small and virtually has nothing besides the parking lot and the rest room. The east side however is extensive. It has 2 courts for tennis and pickleball. There are several play sets for kids. There are several picnic tables that were empty at the time. There is a big open lawn for one to roam. There is a community garden with some vegetable and flower plants. A donation box from Tree Machine is on the side walk that you can donate clothings and shoes that you don't need anymore. The West Park Elementary school with its interesting architecture is right next to the park provides additional facilities like play sets, basketball hoops and playground space. Overall, it's worth the visit.

Very little if any of the new landscape plan included existing landscape features. The new, water friendly landscaping comprised almost an acre including the pool and retaining wall areas. Larry was challenged with providing a hillside design that created a functional, livable area within our budget. The completed result is pretty darn amazing providing beauty which we hope to enjoy for many, many years. Larry is knowledgeable, professional & a pleasure to work with.

Unfortunately, our experience wasn't the same as theirs. The slow and redundant remarks don't need much explanation - they were simply a little slow with things (too much time spent "working with the County" and trying to align the project to some gray area question marks on easements (we are in a rural area, unincorporated). The primary concern was regarding the billing. One of my initial talking points BEFORE signing the contract to initiate work pertained to how they would handle potential overages from estimates (IE they estimate 5k for X, but 5k doesn't turn out to be enough as work progressed). They informed me that all overages from the initial quotes would require approval from both parties before any further work would be performed. We would need to sign an addendum after agreeing to the increase. Fast forward to the project, after beginning work and almost exhausting the initial budget after a few months, I received an invoice for overages that amounted to almost 60% of the original quote, along with an addendum that was essentially agreeing to the extra work that was already performed, but in retrospect. This was where things fell apart, and long story short, I refused to pay for the overages and after a bit of pushback on their part, we parted ways. I was surprised at their pushback and the fact that they seemed taken aback about me not wanting to approve of the overages and pay for them. They admitted to an accounting error that somehow prevented them from billing appropriately, but their response of "we can't undue the work that has already been done" [referring to the work on the plans that would've required approval] resonated with me as quite irresponsible to say; seeing as they absolutely can (and inevitable did) have to eat the cost since we didn't pay Overall, they were nice, pleasant to work with, and I'm sure they do great work. I'd like to hope that our experience was an anomaly. Beware if you move forward with them

Even though she is young, I see that they have other programs available as she progresses and advances through her swimming like the swim club, the snorkeling program, and the surfing program. I even took a surf lessons myself with the owner, who is absolutely fantastic. It is a great place not just for children to learn how to swim, but for adults to strengthen their skills or even explore other opportunities in the water. Ps they offer free trials

Aquatic Explorations has given our son a place where he can participate, learn, grow, and feel included, and we are incredibly grateful to have found them. Our son began his swim journey with Coach Oliver, and we couldn't have asked for a better start. Coach Oliver was calm, patient, and understanding, always meeting our son where he was and allowing him to progress at his own pace. Those first swim experiences were incredibly positive and welcoming and helped build the foundation for the progress we are seeing today. He is now with Coach Jason, and all I can say is WOW! Slowly but surely, we have watched him become more comfortable, confident, and independent in the water. Coach Jason is exactly what he needs. He is kind and patient, but also firm and knows when to push him to do a little more each session. As parents who want to protect our child every step of the way LOL, having a coach we can truly trust means so much to us. Coach Jason is making such a positive difference in our son's life, and watching his progress and growing confidence in the water means more to us than words can express. We are so thankful to Coach Oliver, Coach Jason, and the entire staff for creating a place where our son is supported, encouraged, and included. Aquatic Explorations is truly the BEST!

In addition to that, they have a new groomer, Erick, that has bathed her a couple times and also does fur cuts. We have been having issues with burrs in our backyard getting stuck in her curly fur (she is a goldendoodle) and he took care of that for me. Now we are set for the summer, and I don't have to worry about digging out burrs on a daily basis. This service makes it so convenient for our family. Plus: Convenient, knows what he is doing, reasonable cost Cons: can't think of any.

5 STARS FOR OUR AMAZING TRAINER JOSH…read more 1 STAR FOR CORPORATE LEAVING US WITH ABRUPT ANNOUNCEMENT OF CANCELLED TRAINING SESSIONS. We had an absolutely amazing experience with Josh as Daisy's trainer, and we truly cannot say enough wonderful things about him. Josh was not just a dog trainer to us--he became someone we trusted, someone who understood our family, and someone who genuinely cared about Daisy and her success. From our very first session, Josh took the time to truly understand Daisy. He learned her personality, her behaviors, her challenges, and our family's concerns. He never judged us or made us feel like Daisy was a "bad dog." Instead, he was patient, compassionate, knowledgeable, and encouraging. He made us feel like we were finally on the right path. Having Josh come to our home made such a huge difference. He was able to work with Daisy in the environment where she actually lives and help us learn how to handle situations as a family. He didn't just train Daisy he trained and educated us as her family too. He always listened to our concerns, answered our questions, and made sure we understood what we could do at home to continue helping her. After only FOUR sessions with Josh, we saw an incredible difference in Daisy. She learned so much in such a short amount of time. Most importantly, she was finally able to coexist with our 3-year-old child and 7-year-old child in a way that we had struggled to achieve before. Now our children love Daisy, they play with her, and we are able to see them building a bond with her. Watching that transformation has meant so much to our family. Josh cared about Daisy like she was more than just another dog he was assigned to train. He genuinely celebrated her progress, understood when she was struggling, and always treated her with patience and kindness. You could tell that he truly cared about both Daisy and our family. We felt comfortable with him, we trusted him, and Daisy trusted him--and that trust is incredibly important when working with a rescue dog. Unfortunately, after our fourth session, we were informed that the company had decided to cut their Dog training program and that Josh would no longer be able to continue training Daisy. We were honestly extremely upset and disappointed. I feel that the company should have allowed us to complete the remaining six sessions of Daisy's training with Josh. We had finally found someone who was willing to understand Daisy, work with her, and help our family. It took a lot for us to get to this point, and stopping her training halfway through felt incredibly discouraging, leaving us out of the dark and what we were going to do next. By that point, we had built a relationship with Josh, and Daisy had built a relationship with him as well. Starting over with someone new after finally finding someone we trusted was very difficult for us. We wish the company had taken that relationship and Daisy's specific circumstances into consideration before making the decision to stop her training with Josh. The most frustrating part is that we were finally seeing the results we had been hoping and working so hard for. Daisy was learning. Our children were becoming comfortable with her. Our family was learning how to better communicate with and understand her. And Josh had become an important part of that progress. Although Daisy's training with Josh has unfortunately stopped, we are incredibly grateful for everything he accomplished with her in just four sessions. He gave Daisy a chance to succeed, and he gave our family confidence that we could help her become the happy, well-adjusted dog we knew she could be. Josh is truly an amazing trainer and an incredible person. His patience, compassion, knowledge, and genuine care for the animals and families he works with are very special. We just wish Doggieland had allowed us to complete the remaining six sessions with Josh. After everything our family and Daisy had been through, we finally found someone who understood her and helped her thrive. Four sessions made such a tremendous difference in our family's life, and we can only imagine how much more progress Daisy could have made if she had been able to finish the full program with Josh. Thank you, Josh, for everything you have done for Daisy and for our family. We will always be grateful that you were the person who helped us see just how much potential our Daisy had.
