He was the first to respond and I let him go ahead and replace the air handler blower and add Freon for about $2000. The original blower was a Lennox. He replaced it with an ECM variable speed blower and he gave me no warranty. He just said "call me and I'll take care of you." The system failed within 10 days and I called him repeatedly with no response. Finally, I used my wife's cell phone and he picked up. He came and jump-started the system and charged me $261 for what should have been a free follow-up. So today 5-18-26 the blower was unresponsive the first time I used it this year. It did not last even 2 years. I called him to ask about a possible warranty but got no response. I ended up calling another contractor who installed a non-variable speed blower which came with a 4-year warranty and cost less than half the price to install. This kind is a way better option but for some reason Troy did not offer me the option.

So I called to ask at what point should just we assume it's not happening and lo and behold, the person my tenant was trying to reach answered and proceeded to have an absolute tantrum over us repeatedly reaching out for updates that he'd assured my tenant she'd be getting in the event his availability changed , apparently particularly offended that a client with only a small job would expect what she was told by him to expect. So, I imagine they must be really great electricians, if your needs are large and expensive enough. But personally wouldn't suggest trying them out.

I recently moved into this house and they were very kind in answering some questions I had. I called again because my HVAC system wasn't cooling my house suddenly. The owner answered and said all of their technicians were booked for the day, but instead of leaving me hanging for the weekend he asked a few questions and realized that he had installed the HVAC in this home. He walked me through a few steps to get the system back up and running. He was very kind and determined to help, and it worked. He didn't charge for the help which would have totaled around $200. They were prompt, courteous, well priced, and exceptionally kind. We went with a tank replacement and I couldn't have been happier with the service. Fast forward to today. I was in the basement and noticed a small streak of oil down the side of the tank, which appeared to be coming from one of the pipes connected to the tank. I dropped a quick email to Crown Point. They responded immediately, had someone at the house within a few hours, and didn't charge me for the visit. To be 100% clear, the drip down the side of the tank was minor and was NOT because of their initial work but they covered it fully. Again - prompt, courteous, and top notch customer service. HARD TO FIND THESE DAYS! Cannot recommend this company enough or say enough nice things about them. Good people!
