You get to make as many as you want within the allotted time then choose your top 3 faves. Like the instructor said, be in charge of the clay, and get rid of it if the relationship gets toxic. Also don't let the clay push you around!

The demo portion of the class was a little hard to remember at first, but the instructors were so nice and came around to help us step by step, ensuring our pottery pieces came out perfect. I also really appreciated how kind and patient the staff was with both me and my mom. We truly had the full pottery experience and were given plenty of clay to mold and craft. What I really loved about this experience is that in three weeks, my mom and I get to come back and paint our pieces! If anyone in Arizona is looking for a fun class to do with friends or just wants to try something new in the city, I highly recommend this art studio! The classes are very affordable; it was only $65.00 per person, which is a STEAL!

So I thought I would get a few of my girlfriends to go with me and have a fun night of wine and painting! This whole process was very smooth. From the user friendly website to chose what and where you want to paint, and reserving your date. I even got a reminder email with detailed instructions for my painting night. The image I chose for girls night was Moonlight at the San Pasqual Wine tasting room in La Mesa. The San Pasqual tasting room was located in a very cute and walkable area in La Mesa. There was plenty of street parking, and I didn't have any problems finding the location or parking. It is a 3 hour event, so depending on the location, availability of food varies. The winery offered cheese platters and a variety of wines. Since they didn't have food, we were allowed to bring in food from neighboring restaurants. I chose a glass of their sangria for my drink of choice. I absolutely loved it. It was the perfect blend of wine and citrus. The whole experience was awesome and I had so much fun! I love my painting and I already have it on my wall! I'm planning another one with the girls already! Jason is a really good teacher! He's patient, funny, and talented in addition to being able to survive a room of primarily women drinking and painting! I completely recommend Paint-A-holics for a girls night or a date night!

I absolutely love Michaels as a store. In fact, when I first got apps on my phone, the very first…read morestore I downloaded the app for was Michaels. I would find reasons to stop by the Village Crossroads location over the years quite often, and when I became an educator, I started receiving the educator/teacher discount. I used to find all of the associates were so friendly and even more helpful. Unfortunately, the products are not as refilled as often nowadays, there isn't as large an assortment of items, and the customer service can use some work. The last several times I have gone in to find a specific item, that item has been out of stock whether it was a regular item or a seasonal item. Today, when I stopped by to look for an item that was listed as being carried by the store, I couldn't find an associate in the store except by the checkout counters. When I went up to an associate who was available, she said she didn't know about the item and directed me to a general area and told me if I didn't see it, they probably didn't have it. She didn't check in the system or offer to walk me over to the area to check even though the store wasn't busy. She did ask a nearby associate, who just shrugged her shoulders to indicate she didn't know either. I didn't know if this was a training or motivation issue, but I gave up and decided to go online when I got home after purchasing a few other items. I found the item I was looking for on the Michaels website. It appeared to be in stock at this very store. I placed a pick-up order, and surprisingly, I received an e-mail saying that the order was ready for pick-up. I left home and headed back to the store. Right when I arrived to the parking lot, I received a cancellation notice from the store saying it was not in stock. I am disappointed in how disorganized the store was to say it was in stock and ready for pickup and then canceling the order due to the item not being in stock. I doubt I will try asking for customer service help or ordering online again in the near future. On the other hand, this is a large store with a lot of items that may or may not be in stock. If items are in stock, I can use the coupons I see readily available and save quite a bit. As someone who likes crafts and baking, Michaels is great!! I just wish this store was as good as it once was. The Village Crossroads location of Michaels is open weekdays from 9 AM to 10 PM, Saturday from 8 AM to 10 PM, and Sunday from 9 AM to 9 PM. Their services include curbside pickup, same-day delivery, buy online/pick up in store, balloons, fabrics, birthday parties, and custom framing. If you go to the website (https://www.michaels.com), you can sign up to be on their e-mail list and see a lot of the great deals, events, and offerings that Michaels has to offer.
