This camping trip they had a free concert on the lawn by the battery. I love that the golf carts drive by to bring you firewood for a standard $7 fee. Terrible reception and cellular in the park. Absolutely stunning views. *Privacy in campgrounds: 1 star You will enjoy no separation from neighboring campsites. Enjoy dinner with all other surrounding sites staring at you! Plus, if tent camping, you can hear the neighbors whisper. *Cleanliness of campsite: 5 stars Not a piece of trash in the campsite. Was well cleaned. *Location of restrooms/showers: 4 stars Took less than 2 minutes to walk to the restrooms/showers located in the center of the loop. *Cleanliness of restrooms: 3 stars Not good, not bad. Floors haven't been swept in a long time. Everywhere is sticky. *Cleanliness of showers: 1 star F-loop showers were NASTY. Fishing lure in the drain, hair on the walls, gum stuck to the floor, diapers left inside. WEAR SHOES WHILE YOU SHOWER. E-Loop showers next door were much, much more reasonable. *Noise: 1 star Quiet hours are from 10pm-7am. However, it is not enforced. Every single other camper quieted down around 10pm. Except for one exceptionally loud group who continued to be loud and obnoxious until midnight. We were harassed by this group but didn't have a problem with anyone else. It was clean and comfortable. The bathrooms and showers were also better than other places we have stayed at. All of the staff were amazing and fun to talk with. Check in was very easy. The store had a lot to offer from groceries, gifts and souvenirs, and camping needs to make your stay more comfortable. There were tent sites, rv sites with full hookup, cabins with and without bathrooms. We went a few days after Labor Day so it was not very crowded (bonus!)

My wife and I are up for our anniversary, but we were out exploring earlier. We drove out to the south Jerry, took pics of the Elk, the Peter Iredale. Exiting Fort Stevens park, is this KOA. We normally LOVE KOA's. Our kids spent many good trips going to KOA's. We've stayed at almost all the KOA's between here and the bay area during Covid. Always nice, friendly staff. Just not here. We stopped in to buy a few soda's and some snacks. As we were getting ready to pay WITH our items on the counter, my wife asked to use the restroom. The cashier told us, "There's no public restrooms" Really? At this point, we're customers. Every KOA I've ever stayed at has the same formula. A general store, pool, hot tub, AND COMMUNAL RESTROOMS. Like I said, this is a pet peeve of mine. This is the CRESCENDO of your life pal. This is the minuscule amount of authority you have in your buddy, to tell ladies who are OBVIOUSLY PAYING CUSTOMERS that they cannot use the restroom. I truly hope someone has a talk with you.

The new owners are great and are improving a lot of things that I understand the old owners left as issues. The manager is AWESOME and so helpful, I'm living by myself and have learned a lot from the manager and the people here. The park is clean, there is a laundry and bathroom/shower facility, as well as a soda machine. Close to town and the beach. I couldn't be happier with my choice of a place to stay. Also VERY dog friendly, which is a huge plus for me. I love dogs and my dog loves everybody here, and everyone is so nice to him.
