Disappointed in the CPAP experience. Stewart, who dropped off the CPAP machine seemed to be in a hurry and not eager to answer all my questions. The CPAP experience itself for me was not a good one - I gave it about 10 days but too uncomfortable and awkward. The tube always getting in the way and the mask pressing down on my face. This company doesn't tell you that you are entitled to replacement supplies every 3 months.. i finaly got a new hose... i kept getting a poor mask fit ...low usage...warning....this happened for a month...i tried to get a replacement hose and was told i had to now buy one... that they could not send becasue i was only allowed every 3 months... but for the 1st seven months they did not send anything out..... come get your machine.... read more

This company blatantly bilks your health insurance company for all costs that they can take them for, even for medical equipment or supplies that you did not order, nor need. The worst company on the planet. I have had my CPAP for about 8 months and were never told by them that I was supposed to get new supplies like masks and hoses every three months and that they were covered be my insurance. Now my machine will not humidify properly and sometimes I have to unplug it, wait five minutes and plug it back in just to get it to run. On top of that it has a recall because something in it causes cancer. I have been calling customer service for two weeks now and they just run me around. It is almost one week, since I had my first time setup with a machine for trouble sleeping due to medical reasons. The Technician Stewart Hochler came on time as promised. He said he would take care of me because I guess he probably could tell I was a little bit nervous for I am going to be using something I haven't had experience with except in the sleep lab. He was fantastic in explaining everything. He answered every question and was very outgoing and I felt like I will be in good hands since he told me to call if I needed more help and now tonight like the other nights.I Iook forward to finally getting the restful nights I have been needing for so long. Thank you very much Stewart for being such a pleasant person and Megan also at Hampton Med and should there be any others who were involved with my case and getting my machine finally and also again Stewart for knowing exactly what he was doing that the visit was so quick and easy. All of your help is sincerely appreciated. I felt at ease when he had left and that night when I went to bed to actually sleep, I could not wait to see and how I would feel so much better and rested after not having a real night worth of sleep after years of medications and other methods not working.I look forward to everyday and feeling like a brand new person after going through all the trouble I had with not sleeping. Stuart trained me on how to effectively use and maintain the device. Skeptical of the positive reviewers, don't know if I've ever met anyone who was 5/5 satisfied with a medical supply company. Suspicious levels of enthusiasm. Why are all the people with digital footprints leaving 1-star reviews while the ghost accounts are super happy to report they're amazed things went smoothly? This company has a long history of messing up my orders, but more frustrating than anything is that most of the time one calls any of their numbers, it rings right to voicemail. No one at this entire company has bothered to create a voicemail greeting, so all you know is "you have reached two zero zero nine, please leave a message." Voicemails are often never returned but almost always take multiple days to get a response. Most recent order just never arrived after 3 weeks. When I called 3 weeks later, the CS rep told the following absurd lies: 1: the Swift LT mask was an extremely rare mask (one of the best selling and common masks on the market) 2: the reason why no one has notified me why nothing was sent out is because they're waiting on the masks to arrive at a 'special warehouse.' (logic fails to track on this one, especially considering I was ordering only nasal pillows and no mask) 3: When they arrived, she would be sure to send tracking information. (she created a new order that day, sent out the next day, never sent any tracking info.) The CS Rep didn't even bother to check to see that I explicitly told the last rep (perhaps her? Still wondering why she would lie rather than just say "sorry, a mistake, let's resolve this") that I didn't need or want a new mask. When I asked why 3 weeks had gone by and no one notified me why my medical supplies were not going out, and why my order was being held up because of a very common mask that I specifically requested NOT be sent, she insisted "sometimes this sort of thing just takes a few days and you have to wait." When I told her it had already been more than a few WEEKS and I specifically requested no mask be sent, she just kept speaking over me to repeat 'sometimes it takes a few days and I would just have to be patient' for my required medical supplies to arrive at a convenient time and place for Hampton. She told me she would let me know when something was sent out, then hung up. I tried calling back several times during the day and it just rang through to generic mailbox. I feel very foolish for not writing down her name at the beginning of the call. 3 days later, a box arrived (via USPS) full of only the parts I specifically asked NOT be sent, and missing the only part I asked for... the packing slip said it was shipped out the day after I called to find out why the order was late. Called at least once an hour all day and not a soul picked up a single line no matter which way down the voicejail rabbit hole I went. Left at least 3 messages, none of which have been returned yet. Thankfully my insurance can refuse payment so I know I'll eventually hear from someone. If you're looking for a medical supplies company to increase blood pressure while ignoring your requests, orders, phone calls, and messages, one that doesn't train CS reps on soft skills or needlessly lying about multiple things without bothering to cover tracks, who will eventually send out an expensive box of supplies you explicitly told them you don't want or need, Hampton Home Care will be happy to fill the void previously filled by calm and/or sleep. read more

After receiving my CPAC sleeping machine, I was unable to use it due to complications. It was hard for me to get used to the constant air being blown in my face. I tried to return the machine in a timely manner but my Dr.'s office did not send the prescription to pick it up. I was unaware of this and kept the machine in the box at my home. After a month, I called again and the customer service representative was not very helpful. When they finally did pick it up the machine, week or so later I received bills for medical deductible's for the machine. I tried to get them removed from my account with no success. No one was able to get rid of these bills or at least give me a discount and hear my story and why I had the machine for so long. I will NEVER recommend this company to anyone I know. They are NOT helpful and understanding, they just keep billing your insurance company and you for machinery that your not using. They are crooks and sneaky as a snake. Beware!! read more

This company really helped handle everything from start to finish (and beyond) as it pertains to my sleep apnea. They contacted the doctor for my prescription, handled everything with my insurance and sent a very knowledgeable respiratory therapist to set me up with a brand new fully functioning machine. They made this tedious and less than exciting process very easy. I recently received my first set of supplies and everything was correct. Very polite and respectful customer service. I was extremely pleased with Andrew's efficiency and the detail he provided me to use the machine properly. If I could give a zero rating, I would have done that. We are still waiting for a bipap machine for my mom 6 weeks after the prescription was sent. Phone calls usually goes to voicemails. Nobody gives a call back. Sometimes, they say they will transfer to a supervisor and never forward, but hung up on you. No compassion for the patient who is suffering. Called the CPAP department to place an order and the staff was so helpful. I explained that I needed them as possible as my tubing ripped and they told me I would have it in a day or two. The worst customer service all the time, every time I call!!!!! In this instance and why I decided to write a review, is, I have been trying for months to get a hold of someone with regards to a leaky mask. When I FINALLY spoke to someone, today, she proceeded to tell me that they check their messages every day and call back either that day or next day, really? No they do not. Then she proceeded to tell me if the mask was defective, the company that makes the mask would've contacted them. Not necessarily, you can have one defective product, but she wasn't understanding that or just didn't want to understand. My husband's one replacement mask was defective, he was using the exact same mask before with no problem. THIS ONE MASK WAS NO GOOD! They, of course did nothing to rectify the situation. This company generally sends you either the wrong CPAP mask or incomplete supplies. In the last shipment, they neither included the filters for my machine nor the extra large nasal pillows that are always shipped with the mask. When I called, they did send me the missing supplies. But don't they have quality control before products are shipped? read more
