For a location, being in the middle of nowhere, and just passing through, this Hampton Inn will do just fine!!! Amazing customer service with a friendly demeanor, I was greeted with a smile. Being a Hilton Honors Diamond member, I felt valued and recognized with their appreciation. Well-maintained property. The gym and pool areas are well kept and functional. I stayed in Room 333, and it was extremely spacious with a somewhat comfortable bed. I stayed 1 night. Noisy AC, but it works! You want your room super cooler, it does just that. The only issue I really had with my room was that my tub/shower didn't work properly. So, I couldn't use it. Their bathrooms need desperate updating. It is perfectly located near the Arizona State Border. I was visiting a dear friend in Quartzite, Arizona, and it was 30-35 minutes away, not bad. Their free breakfast was just ok, but certain items were not bad, like their fresh fruit and cereals offered were good. They also offer a small snack shop for items like bottled water, chips, certain microwave meals, sodas, cookies, and personal items. It was well stocked. When I checked out, I told the friendly front desk about my shower issues, and they were very apologetic and gave me a small discount on my room rate, which I thought was very appreciated. The freeway noise next to the hotel wasn't too bad. My suggestion..... bring earplugs. Overall, my room and the property were super clean and welcoming! It does need some updating in certain areas. We stayed here from 1/20/26 to 1/26/26. INSUFFICIENT HOT WATER THE ENTIRE TIME FOR THE ENTIRE HOTEL! I reported the lack of hot water the first morning and was told they would have the maintenance person inspect and diagnose the issue the following day. That evening still no measurable hot water. (Warm at first then cold quickly). I called and complained the second time. I was told that it's a "known" problem and the hotel has a "problem " with sufficient hot water when the hotel is full.??!! The next morning a customer told me he was told the hotel has had this known problem for at least the past 6 weeks. I told the female desk clerk that this was unacceptable and I would be filing a complaint with their Corporate office and she hung up on me. Great customer service. (And we paid the full price for 6 nights). We were forced to take cold showers nearly every day. Frankly I believe they are lying and simply have an inadequate water heating system. They use "boilers" and not on demand heaters. They should use on demand heaters ~ period. They instead chose to save money at their customers expense. I am shocked and appalled at how poorly this hotel is managed and maintained. I will never stay here again nor any Hilton affiliated chain hotel and neither should you. read more

The breakfast was complimentary but the lady cook had a giant glass jar for tips...first hilton I been to & seen this. Our room had black mold around the shower & under Lil built in stool, the glass shower doors were dragging & hard to slide. The wall on side of toilet had a gap, the wall had burn marks, the water sprinkler in bathroom showed rust. The bathroom section of the room was just soooo bad. We have never been in a hilton that compared to a Motel 6 restroom. For the price we paid & $50 dollar deposit...they need to get a better maintenance or clean up crew. Filthy and dirty, bad bed, worn furniture and poorly trained staff. When you find an old glob of what appears to be toothpaste near the sink stopper pull you start to wonder what you are getting into. It gets worse in the bathroom, visible grime below the sink where it is possible they never mop, mold in many spots along floors and walls and near the sink. Nasty looking discoloration along hall walls, near registers, in food areas. The microwave front and handle were covered with fingerprints and grime. The area where the fridge is had a three inch gap just covered with dust and somebodies lip balm in the middle of the dust. Even the elevator button had a ring of grime around it clearly visible when the button was lit up. The furniture was worn, broken, and in the case of the mattress-past its lifespan. The suitcase area was just plain dangerous as the one screw holding it together looked as if it too could pull out and collapse. Large worn spot on desk and counters and some of those had splinters that could embed in your hand. How bout no coffee at breakfast "oh I'll make some" like we all have time for that. Coffee (so it would seem) should be the thing that never runs out. How about green bananas (see picture,, they were nicely arranged I'll give them that) The breakfast attendant seemed AWOL. I wanted to voice my concerns (around 9:00 AM) and was met with a sign that said "we will return momentarily sorry for the inconvenience" I should say that check out time is a good time for a manager, or guest service person, to be there all the time. Then as we were leaving 9:30 AM a person was mopping the floor completely in front of the main door. They said "excuse me" when they mopped directly in front of me. How about at least waiting until I pass by. What kind of manager has the floors of the lobby cleaned as people check out. That should be for the slowest time of the day. My wife and I have stayed at Hampton Inns almost exclusively for years. I'm very disappointed to have to say we will never stay here again. So sad it's so poorly managed. So disappointed they don't put customer satisfaction, safety and cleanliness first. read more

This Hampton Inn is a five star when compared to most of the flea bag motels in these small towns. However, despite the newer look, nicely decorated rooms and lobby, there are a few negatives. First the bathroom, while large and designed well, they are letting the shower area deteriorate. The gaps and mold between the floor pan and tile are going to provide them with future repairs for water seeping and wood rot. Also, the shower head was the worse I've used in a hotel in years. Water barely comes out with any force and the other settings that increase the force make a narrow stream. Also, the towels are pathetic. I'm sure using cheap, thin, old, scratchy towels will prevent thief of same, but they are horrible. Breakfast was a typical presentation, but the razor thin bacon was ridiculous. Bacon so thin that it's amazing that it could be undercooked and not crisp. The few strips that are crisp falls apart if you aren't careful how you hold it. Did I mention that the electric car chargers are not functioning and apparently haven't for a long time. Paying close to $200 a night in a small town is bad enough, but I expect more for that price. read more

Rolled in Halloween night on the way back from a long motorcycle ride in northern Az and was looking forward to a comfortable bed and a workout in the gym. Being a diamond member there's normally an acknowledgement on checking in as well as complimentary waters but none were had here. Not that I expect that but it made me have to check and see if that was indicated and the clerk seemed a little bit surprised. I asked if an upgrade had been considered and he said no but he would check.. his explanation of room differences... well I couldn't understand but was too tired to dig in and just took what he gave me. My riding buddy got the second bed and we laughed in a disappointed and still a little funny manner when we went to the room and he sat on his bed and the frame was squeaking (room 224). Whenever he moved it sounded like the frame was bending and creeping. The gym was a sad disappointment because there was something wrong with all three treadmills.. two on the right the incline function wouldn't work. Far right was totally out of service and it seems that no maintenance was ever done on these machines. Tv was blaring but the remote that I found in the gym would not control the tv. GM you can do better than this. You're a Hilton property for goodness sake. Also, no half and half in the morning for coffee and when I politely asked the nice lady servicing the breakfast area about it, she just replied "sorry we are subject to Sisco..." The staff here lack customer service skills. I called two days in a row to see if the housekeeper found a set of keys and work badge that I left behind. I told them exactly where the keys and badge were, they put me on hold for 2 minutes, came back on, and said no one has found anything. What really got to me was the fact that their housekeeper was unable to see a rather large keychain with a picture ID attached. That just tells me that they don't clean very well, but that was already apparent by the old stains that were all over one of the comforters. I will say that this hotel is probably your best bet when staying in Blythe, but make sure you don't need staff assistance for anything. They're useless. read more

Pretty disgusting, so who would stay in a room like that. I'm pretty upset that I had to leave to look for another hotel at 9pm since the person in charge didn't want to change my family and me to another room nor did i get my money back right away. Because I am a long tine HHonors Member we tend to stay at Hampton Inns on road trips. This was the last stop on our annual Spring Training Road Trip. First impression, the hotel is not located in the best part of town. There were a couple of sketchy dudes hanging around in the field in front of the hotel. The woman at the front desk was all business and quickly checked us in. No mention of my HHonors status. No offer of bottles of water that I received at other Hampton Inns. Just here are you room keys and here is the WiFi password. The room was the normal Hampton Inn quality. The bed was comfortable. The HVAC was appropriately quiet and efficient. It took a lot of time to get the water hot enough for a shower. There were enough outlets and USB ports to charge our iPhones and iPads. Morning breakfast was the normal Hampton Inn fare. This was the most expensive of the Hampton Inn that we stayed at on this road trip, by almost 25%. read more

Stayed here with my husband and 9 month old as a last-minute stay. Our visit was fine until the next day after we checked out. I got a phone call from the hotel saying they are charging me for extra cleaning fees because they found DOG POOP in our room. After going back and forth with the woman assuring her we had no dogs, she agreed not to charge us. I then realize after our phone conversation what this means... Our room was so poorly "cleaned" before our stay, they didn't see MULTIPLE dog poops in our room! We stayed with our 9 month old crawling baby in a room with dog poop. It must have been a small dog because we didn't smell anything or see anything. SHAME on Hilton for not rectifying the situation and SHAME on that cleaning staff for such a horrible situation we were put in. We really like staying here when we go riding in Quartzsite. Clean, large rooms that have a separate sink and mini bar area is great for me. I also appreciate their complimentary breakfast and cookies when we walk in from a long day. There is plenty of parking for both cars and trucks, and adjacent freeway access. We left our room at 9am to go rock hunting in Arizona. We came back at 5pm and the room had not been cleaned. I called the front desk and they asked me if we had left the "Do Not Disturb" sign on the door. We had just walked in that door, and it was on the inside, not the outside and I told her we had not. The desk person told us that the cleaning crew had gone home, but she could bring us some towels. I told her that we would appreciate it, but, what we did not appreciate was going charged the full rate for the room when we didn't get a major service, and that service was now unavailable. She said she would talk to her manager. About 15 minutes later, her manager called the room and said she had spoken to the head of housekeeping and that person confirmed that our "Do Not Disturb" sign was on the outside of the door all day. I told her that it was absolutely not true. She said that her manager would be in on Monday and I could talk to her. I told her I'd rather just write a negative review about it. She asked what negative thing had happened and I explained that cleaning the room was included in what we had paid for the room, and I felt that she was calling me a liar when I told her that we did not have the sign out. I told her that when she takes the word of housekeeping over the word of her customer, she is calling the customer a liar. I am noticing an attitude at Hilton properties in general lately that when a customer complains, they are just trying to cause trouble. It hasn't always been this way, but, I keep running into this sort of attitude at Hilton properties, so it's probably time to start picking another brand until they figure out that treating customers this way makes them not want to return. read more

Well...this is Blythe and the Hampton Inn & Suites is better than most of the other hotels/motels you will find in the area. The room was clean, with a decent bed/mattress. Bathroom could use a refresh, especially the shower which was a little scary (mold??). I did not use it. When we checked in, there was a sign posted stating they were having problems with the hot water. Front desk staff said repairs were in progress, the problem was intermittent and she had not personally heard from any guests not having hot water. Not really sure what was going on with that, but happy to say the hot water in our room worked perfectly fine. The complimentary breakfast is average. We were happy to eat before getting back on the road and to not have to find somewhere to get breakfast. Overall, this is an okay place to stay. read more

For $180 a small suite with a beyond stinky bathroom. The bathroom smell was so strong. My flight attendant friend suggested we use coffee grounds to drown out the smell. She said that's what flight attendants do when a room stinks. Now that I get, your at work ok you'll deal with it, but to pay and it smell, it's ridiculous. We should have changed rooms it was that bad, but we were only staying 1 night. We have to stop again in Blyth on the way back and it won't be at the Hampton Inn. The room seemed cleaned, but we lysol everything regardless, but the toliet seat was so old that you could see 3 spots were faded pretty bad. It's time for a new toliet seat in room 231. The bathroom floor baseboards seemed really old. If this room were under $100, I'd expect to see that, but for $180 oh hell no! Hilton should be appalled at this room. As Paris is sitting in a 5 star property on her honeymoon, the Hilton board members have neglected this poor property in the middle of nowhere known as Blyth, Ca. We only saw 1 hotel employee and for $180 I didn't expect to have to get my own towels downstairs. I only needed more because the shower leaked all over pretty bad and 4 wasn't going to cut it with 4 of us and then we were only allowed 2 more when I went downstairs. Once again for $180 in the middle of nowhere I should be able to get as many towels as I need. Maybe if the showers weren't leaking I wouldn't need so many. I'm starting to sound bitchy, but in today's market with all the choices Hilton needs to do better for the people who travel through this town. read more

Best place to stay in the area This hotel is relatively new to the area. The rooms are standard but superior for this area. The staff are extremely friendly and accommodating. I have an electric/hybrid and they allowed me to plug in using their outside outlets. The pool area is clean and has a barbeque for our use. No bar or restaurant bu each night they run a manager's special - snacks, beer and wine for free for two hours. The hotel is located in a convenient location right off the freeway. No restaurants in walking distance though. read more

I travel a lot and am a Hilton honors member, so typically will stay at a Hilton brand hotel. I'm extremely impressed by this specific hotel from the moment you walk in. The staff was extremely nice and they have a big lounge with a tv or two. The rooms were about the same but felt a little nicer and cleaner than others. They even have a little store were you can buy some beers. It was Veterans Day and didn't wanna go out so I sat down at the lounge and enjoyed some tall cans. There was plenty of parking as I had a huge vehicle. And like most Hampton inns, they have breakfast, standard bfast. Gotta say, I love the yogurts they carry. This particular location is a newer hotel and like all Hamptons the beds are super super great, the complimentary breakfast in the morning is pretty darn good and the chocolate chip cookies at night are always a favorite with the kids. I wish this was a pet friendly Hampton because I now have a dog and because they don't except pets I can't stay at this particular location anymore but the good thing is is there's another Hampton Inn in hour and a half away near Palm Springs. The beds are super comfy! Eddie at the desk when we came in a 10 to midnight was really helpful and helped us even though our reservation was for today. He got us a room at the AAA rate! We went down to the suite store for some snacks. We picked popcorn and he was nice enough to pop it for us, but when it failed he felt so bad he have us a couple bananas and a ned bag of popcorn. That was so sweet of him to do that! Kathy doing the breakfast service was super sweet and was very friendly. Both her and Jade this morning took time to make us laugh and admire our nails.
