We had a nice stay in Blythe for a family event. The site said breakfast wasn't included, but it was , and was really good for free breakfast at this price point. All the staff was very friendly. The hotel was very clean, aside from some of the hallways. Spacious room, very quiet, nice shower, comfy bed. The Jacuzzi was broken but other than that it was great. read more

We had a great one-night stay here. The staff was super friendly and helpful. The room was clean and spacious. The beds were so comfortable. We slept excellent. The water pressure was strong in the shower. The breakfast offered a lot of great variety including waffles, eggs, sausage, toast and bagels, hot oatmeal, fruit and more. Really quite great! This hotel was not good. Our room has brown, pubic looking hairs in the bathroom sink, toilet, soap dish and bathtub. The Toilet did not look clean. There was candy on the floor that my daughter picked up and toenail clipping by the bed. It was gross. We had to go down and ask for cleaning solution so we could clean our own room. Nasty. As we were leaving, we turned keys in, but my wife had to use the restroom, it was locked. Front desk said, once we turn jn keys, they do not work and bathroom is locked. What??? Not good. Breakfast was a joke. Gross premade eggs, some weird potatoes... This was just a terrible experience overall. Very unfortunate. read more

Pros: Bed was clean and comfortable Nice sized room Friendly staff Room was clean (sans 2 hairs mentioned below) Cons: While the bathroom is very large, there is zero storage. Aside from the towel shelf inside the shower, there are no shelves or anything to store you stuff. I had to put my clean clothes on the back of the toilet while I showered and hoped they didn't fall in since there is no lid on the toilet. They do provide shampoo/body wash on the wall but I prefer to use my own toiletries and they kept falling off the very tiny soap shelf. The shower pressure was also not great but the pressure at the sink was so great that everything got splashed. The counter is small and already overcrowded with the hand towels and tissues on it so adding my husband's toiletries and my makeup bag were too much. Luckily my toiletry bag can hang so I utilized the hook on the door. There is no rack for the hand towel being used, there is no light over the shower making it too dark to shave, and I did find 2 hairs in the shower upon arrival. Breakfast was not good but I noticed they did have make you own waffles. I think if I had taken the time to wait in line for a waffle I would have had a much better breakfast experience. I do really appreciate their effort to provide a free hot breakfast but the quality just isn't there. read more

Run. Even if you are tired after driving hours through the desert and want to land in a place where there is a functioning tub and shower, this is not the place. I had a hard time finding a shower/bathtub without leftover blue/white chemical stains in the tub, where there is no standing water in the tub, where the tub stopper is not broken and you have to go from room to room to make sure the tub/shower is functional and clean without chemical residue, THIS IS NOT THE PLACE. RUN!!! Comfort Suites is anything but comfortable. They have one person at the front desk, so if she is dealing with clients who are coming in, you can call and call and call and no one will answer. No one will have the professional courtesy to answer the phone and say "Excuse me can you hold on and I'll be right back with you." No. No one will say that. Front desk and housekeeping desperately need training at this establishment. Took nearly an hour and four rooms to check in and finally get a clean functioning shower/tub. When I mentioned this to the front desk, the young woman says she is actually only allowed to show me two rooms! Are you kidding me? If all the rooms you show me are either dirty or broken, after an hour of hopping from room to room, you damn well better show me more than two rooms until you provide me with a clean room with a functioning shower. And after all that, the first water that came out of the faucet was DARK BROWN!!!! The staff cursing in English (5hit) and Spanish (9endeja) was unnecessary, and the dog I heard barking on my floor in a NO DOG hotel is at the very least dishonest and puts those of us with allergies at risk. If I could have given zero stars, I would have. Run! read more

Softball mom here!!!! We had our AZ State tournament in Blythe, CA. We were referred there by the district. This hotel was great!!!! The staff was so nice and friendly! The rooms were clean. Hotel was clean. Pool was clean. Our team basically took over the 3rd floor for a week. The staff went out of their way to make sure we were happy, and the girls happy. The manager was amazing too. If you need somewhere to stay as a team, this is the place. They even made sure our team was all next to each other on the same floor! read more

I am a diamond member of choice reward program and for the first time this Comfort Inn in Blythe CA was a total disappointment I drive a truck and I had to stop and sleep because I ran out of hours around 8am and I was told by the receptionist that I could not check in until after 2pm. And that there is no early check in option. Mind you there are only 4 cars in the entire parking lot this is poor customer service and a horrible way to treat a member that stays in hotels more than 4 months a year. read more

Very friendly front desk girl, very nice breakfast lady. But the room cleanliness was very poor. The couch looked gross with whatever food or drink stain on it. Not just the color. You can see the texture. That couch definitely hadn't been cleaned in a long time! Bath towels has stain. Bathroom counter feels dirty, shower and hair dryer all have dirty dust on it. The bed sheets fell dusty and not clean either. And the floor, when you walk on it, it feels very yucky. Is it just my bad luck? Because the other reviews all mentioned very clean for this hotel. I hope the hotel sees this review and pay attention to the cleanliness of all the rooms. read more

I don't k ow what happened to this location. but it was a mess. the floors not vacuumed, the stairs were littered with random dirt and the bathroom in the room was a mess. Counter dirty facets not wiped down a constant drip from the shower and they put me in a room over looking the pool which yes i could have said something. the bed was horrible and Comfort used to be known for the great bed. Oh and the dining space was disgusting. do they not have an attendant to wipe down the trashcan or even take out the trash. appalling. read more

Still a great hotel on your way to Arizona, Rooms are comfortable and clean, with reasonable prices, super friendly staff, they have a very nice breakfast buffet in the morning so you don't need to go out and get something to eat before you continue your drive. We rented two rooms for one night. The first room had an odor to it; as if it wasn't used in a while. The carpets were really dirty, the toilet ran all night, the bathtub was clogged and so was the sink. Perhaps before renting a room out management should check if rooms are operational. The maintenance guy was called and after 20 minutes in both rooms we were finally able to use the sink and shower. But the room smelled like the odor from the bathtub all night. I've never take a shower and still felt dirty. The water pressure sucked btw! I would not stay here if I had to again. Not for the price we paid. The only good thing about this hotel is the location - easy access back to the freeway and lots of places to eat in walking distance. And they had some good movies playing on tv. We absolutely loved our stay at this location! Brittany is an absolute gem! Our close friends were getting married nearby and we have never been to Blythe before. We usually stay at Best Western but decided to stay at this place based on the reviews and pictures. So happy we did! We have two toddlers so the living room set up in the rooms was great, they loved having the little coffee table to play with their toys. Ended up on an impromptu trip to Sedona, so we stopped here on the way. I was really impressed with this location upon driving up. Good parking, and when we walked in it was really spotless. The front desk staff were all super courteous as well. We got to our room and it had a great layout (including a fridge). Clean bathroom with good shower pressure as well. The Jacuzzi was warm and not crowded either, which made for a great night. The breakfast was nice too. I'm a huge fan of being able to eat and then get on the road and this didn't disappoint. For a nice location with friendly staff and good amenities, this is definitely a place worth checking out. read more

Outdated & not very clean. The bed was comfortable, but I think I have seen better at Motel 6. The staff was nice, but they close down 2 floors during the week so they don't have to clean them. There were 2 of us, and were wanting 2 queens. But they said they only had 1 room left. We got a King & fold out sofa. When you've been driving for 19 hours... YOU DON'T WANT A SOFA BED! And to find out that there were 2 floors full of rooms that were vacant. The carpet was extremely dirty, and reminded me of carpet in a movie theater. read more

The hotel is easy to maneuver, clean, quiet, and well decorated. Our room had 2 queen beds with perfectly clean crisp sheets, a choice of soft or firm pillows, a living room type area with a desk/lamp/chair/couch, flat screen TV, alarm clock, microwave/mini fridge/coffee maker, closet with iron and ironing board, thick & fluffy towels, hair dryer, dresser with drawers which had extra pillows and blankets, and lots of outlets for plugging in our electronics! The bathroom had great water pressure and heated up fast! It was pretty quiet. We heard no noise from other guests. You can hear a little bit of the traffic from the highway nearby but not enough to keep you awake. I use earplugs at night anyway so I'm covered. Our stay included a free hot breakfast. 6-9:30. They provided: biscuits & gravy, scrambled eggs, hard boiled eggs, sausage patties, breakfast potatoes, oatmeal, cereals, fruit, various kinds of yogurt, bagels, toast, and 2 waffle makers. They had coffee, tea, milk, OJ, water, and apple juice to drink. Very good! Random pluses: Fast & large elevators Tons of free parking Luggage carts for taking stuff to and from the car. There's a 24 hour Subway right next door. I would definitely stay here again if passing through Blythe! Thank you! read more

This review is based on my experience staying here two times on two separate occasions. My review will be based on: Cleanliness of the room Location/amenities Customer service Breakfast Cleanliness: the facility itself was clean and beautiful. There are computers downstairs if you need to do work or check emails. The WiFi isn't terrible here but if it is spotty then the hotel free wifi but it isn't great for playing phone games aside from Pokémon go. The room itself was clean. No bugs, no dirty sheets, no loud noises to keep you up. 4/5 stars Location/amenities: the hotel is situated by a few gas stations, Starbucks and a few fast food places. Note: Starbucks and a few fast food places aren't open 24/7 aside from McDonald's. So plan accordingly. No ghetto/sketchy people walking around outside. 5/5 stars Customer service: the front desk receptionist was absolutely wonderful! I put a huge emphasis on this and you truly feel welcomed here. 5/5 stars Breakfast: great selection of hot and cold foods. Eggs, muffins, cereal, coffee, juice etc. Breakfast ends at 9am checkout is at 11am I honestly don't mind staying here for a night if I'm ever in the area. I only gave this hotel 3/5 stars solely because the water from the faucets smell foul. Luckily I had a few water bottles with me and it was nice that this hotel has a few vending machines but if it wasn't for that I don't know what I would do. The water wasn't an issue the 1st time I stayed here so hoping this was a fluke. I will give this place one more try and update my review on a later time. read more

Surprising comfortable hotel. We stayed here on our way from California back to Texas. The room here are spacious and comfortable. The breakfast started pretty early even on the weekend, which is awesome for people on the run, like us. A few minor things can be improved, but those won't stop me from coming back again if I am on the route. The bed linen is kind of rough and hard. Never had bed sheets so stiff in any hotel or motel. The other thing is that the AC doesn't seem to blow into the restroom. The restroom is very warm when the door is closed. It wouldn't be a matter anywhere else probably, but in Blythe, it makes a noticeable difference. read more

For a small town, Blythe has a fairly large number of hotels--most are just so-so or worse. Comfort Suites is clearly the best overall. When I arrived I was greeted warmly and check-in was a breeze, thanks to the efficiency of the desk clerk. The room was large, typical for a "mini-" or "half-"suite. The bedding was clean and fresh, the mattress and furniture comfortable. The room, for the most part--more on that later--was clean. Breakfast was a cut above--eggs, bacon, sausage, biscuits and gravy with the usual waffle machine and typical continental breakfast offerings. A little added bonus--Greek yogurt. The food tasted fine and was at appropriate temperature. I would have given this facility a five-star review except for two things. The first was a large stain on the carpet by the door. Yes, I know stains happen but when one pays nearly $120 for a room, that stain should have been made to disappear. The second incident happened when I opened the door. Two large "water" roaches came scurrying out--hey, I didn't think pets were allowed! Inside, on the aforementioned carpet stain, lay a dead roach. I suspect foul play, accounting for the other two beating a hasty retreat. Seriously, there should have been no roaches, alive or dead but at the time, tired from driving, all I could do was let my imagination run wild. So sorry, Comfort Suites, those things docked you a star. The above aside, I would recommend this property if you're staying in Blythe. read more
