This used to be the place to stay when family. Owners changed, it's shocking how run down it got in just a few years.

We had to stay here as it is the only hotel in town- was a little thrown off by the powerful scent in the room (maybe to mask cigarette smell- which at least we didn't smell that as well) but it had a powerful A/C and it was 111F at 5:30pm. So hallelujah for that! With huge A/C running, we slept well after a dramatic day- we were comfortable enough to sleep rather than be jammed into a hot car overnight . Though my sheets had stains -:-o , beggars cannot be choosers. For the situation- I was grateful for this place to here. Realistically it was better than a Hampton Inn I had stayed at in Tucson. The owner gave us bottled waters and we were safe from the sweltering heat. Shower was decent and soap and shampoo to wash the day away! A Nice friendly owner is always good too. People in town were all super nice. read more

When the line to charge our car was longer than hours left in the day, Stagecoach was a clean, inexpensive place to grab some sleep before we tried again the next day to get our car charged and head home. read more

I was a little leery of staying in a hotel in Quartzsite, but we decided to stay here based off of other reviews, we were not disappointed. The owner is nice. The room is clean and newly remodeled. The bathroom is clean with plenty of hot water. They have a fridge and microwave. We brought our own coffee maker but they have coffee available in the office. We would stay again when traveling to Arizona. read more

I was leery of any motels in Quartzite as the first time our band performed there the venue booked us a hotel 25 miles away in Blythe ,stating " You don't want to stay in any of Quartzite's motels . I can truly say that is no longer the case .The room was big comfortable and very clean ,the beds comfortable. The manager Lance was very nice and helpful ,the only thing that kept it from fivE stars ...no complimentary coffee and maker in room . The burger I had for lunch reminded me of the prE MacDonalds burgers I got on the road when I traveled in the 50s . You can actually taste the meat, and the manager Bella became friends with the band immediately. We are scheduling next years gig in Quartzite and will definitely be staying here again . read more

Stayed 1 night January 2024. They charge way too much. My room was dirty and the water was luke warm. I won't come back here again.

I recommend this motel in Quartzite. They have done some updates. The bathroom is not new but it was nice and clean as well as the rest of the room. It is dog friendly and the beds are soooooo comfortable. When we got there and paid they let us check in early. The staff is friendly and that is awesome. You are not getting the Ritz but for a motel it is a nice one. read more

I called a couple of hours ahead from the road to see if they had a room and they had one left. Based on the reviews I was looking forward to a nice stay so I could wake up refreshed for my continuing road trip. Such a great little motel. It's been refinished and they let me bring my dog (and only a little $12 dogie fee). The only reason I am giving this inexpensive, clean, very comfortable, and inviting Motel a 4 instead of a 5 is that it lacks some of the fancy amenities of chain motels. No breakfast, not more than about 15 to 20 rooms, but so refreshingly clean and simple in the best possible way. They are also pet friendly with only a $10 pet fee. I loved the room and slept great on my memory foam Queen mattress, and I appreciated the fridge and an extra chair for reading. I don't know when I will be in Quartzsite again, but I would drive even an hour out of my way to stay here again. Lance, the owner, is low-key charming and very helpful. Clean room, even though on the main road was quiet. It was a quaint place and boutique in size. Small number of rooms but nice stay for a traveling night. The Chinese restaurant served authentic tasty food. I was pleasantly surprised to find this gem in Quartzite, it is even pet friendly! Definitely would stay here again when traveling through Arizona. read more

Called an hour ahead to reserve a room on 04~11~20 and was told plenty of rooms were available; no need to reserve. On arrival, was greeted by a lady saying she was the assistant; only 1 room with one bed was available which couldn't meet our needs. Restaurant had a notice saying it was closed; no food here! I asked if her name was "Carol, the owner/mgr." and was told no. I mentioned I looked through the "YELP" notices for my decision in looking for a place and questioned if the price stated at $50 per night was true and was told that was a VERY old posting and not true. Hummmm. Makes me wonder. How in the world did this place manage to get people to give such "raving" reviews?? Googled the next available hotel and found the Super 8 Quartzsite just down the road and was greeted by a very happy, peppy young lady that accommodated us very nicely. Husband and Wife staff very friendly. The property has been completely remodeled. Very clean room exactly as the more current pictures show. We had been driving all day so we called ahead and they told us no reservation needed they would hold the room for us. They even turned the AC on so the room would be cooler than the 104 degrees outside. Great price for a very comfortable place to sleep before hitting the road again. There is coffee in the lobby....We weren't concerned about not having breakfast, we needed the good nights sleep more. read more

We stayed for four nights over the Thanksgiving holiday and we were very pleased. The staff is friendly and will do just about anything you need. The rooms are remodeled and like new. Comfortable, big beds, lots of space in the room, clean appliances, fridge in the room. Only thing we didn't have was a coffee maker in the room. But the guy that runs the hotel had hot coffee ready in the office early every morning. Very clean, great price! Will definitely stay here again! read more

My boyfriend and I stayed at the Stagecoach Motel for the Holiday! Billy was very friendly and welcoming. He allowed both of our dogs to stay with not a blink of an eye! The heater worked, warm water, the room was clean. No modern appliances but you get what you are paying for. For the affordability, availability and the pet friendliness we will stay again! I was so tired. This is why I stopped here. Also they accepted my Aussie dogs. Most places have a pet weight limit of 20 lbs or less. I tried to hang in there. I really did -I stayed for about three hours but the sheets were making my skin itch and the smell in the room was overwhelming. I can only describe it as 5000 stale trucker farts pent up in this room with the "yikes" bedspreads and brown sheets. What establishment has brown sheets? Someone with stains and grossness to hide that's who! I was so miserable and uncomfortable I packed up my items and dogs and hit the road at 1:15 am. I'm not usually snobby about places - I'm someone who enjoys backpacking and being out in the wilderness! But this place just was not up to any standard for humans. I do not recommend this place to anyone. Keep driving. Get out of Quartzite. read more

This made-over, basic, no-frills small motel is a good value and everything worked, very clean. It's not much to look at from the exterior, but the rooms are tastefully furnished and the bed was comfortable. We'll stay again, having dinner (again) at Silly Al's down the street. There is no coffee maker, but there are lots of places nearby to grab a cup (some in walking distance). The restaurant in front of the motel may be reopened soon and we'll try that if it reopens. read more

The dirtiest room I've ever seen. For $66 I was not expecting much and this is quartzite but come on you can't even vacuum the floor in the room?Wash the bathroom floor, give us a towel that you could actually use after the shower, not a hand towel. Buy a blanket, I do not want to use the bedspread as my blanket. The bedspread had hair and other debris I immediately ripped it from the bed slept with just a bed sheet. The toilet ran all night, the shower still had the dirt from the last customer in it .Took a picture of the debris found in the room along with a washcloth that I used to wipe some lotion off the floor. There is no way I would ever stay here again. Rugs filthy. Old paint on bathroom wash basin. Full length mirror leaning on the wall not secured. Blinds didn't work so with bright lights outside shining in room it was like daytime all night. Bed covers were tattered with holes in them. The cleaning staff never came to room. Had to go ask for more toilet paper. My advice. Stay away at any price. read more

My husband and I made a reservation for 2 nights (January 20, 2018) The Motel staff were very unorganized. We stayed in room #7. It was supposed to be a Non-Smoking room. When we opened the door, it smelled and reeked of smoke. The carpet pads were coming up from the floor. The bottom mattress pad had duck tape on the bottom corners. The bathtub caulking had mold all the way around and the safety tape on the bottom of the bathtub was partially coming up. On the wall was written Joe was here 9/6/17. The old fashion floor heater did not work. It was unbelievable that they even rent this kind of room to patrons. We stayed the night as the other motels in Quartzsite, Az. were all booked up but would not stay the second night under any conditions. We asked the Owner, Carol for a credit of the 2nd night and she refused. We left anyway as this room was uninhabitable. Patrons Beware read more

I liked this motel. Friendly staff, the room was great and it was inexpensive. Rm. 10 had just been redone so it was pretty nice considering the inexpensive cost. Nice location to all of Quartzsite (though to be sure, the town isn't that large so no matter where you are, everything is close). I'd stay again without hesitation. read more

We will not ever stay here again! The room stunk so bad that it gave me a headache and I had a hard time getting to sleep. I was gagging all night! The floors and everything was sticky uuugh! Don't bother to look for a hairdryer, microwave or refrigerator. There's not even a coffee pot! It was so bad that we didn't try the cafe attached.
